  1. Ok the visa coach also help with spousal petitions though, whichever one I decide on I guess. But has anyone heard abt him before? And another thing is I have read a lot of articles that states you need to know the reason for refusal before u even try and refile because same issue can resurface. To the best of my knowledge the only question he told me he answered wrongly was how I immigrated to the states I don't know if there were other reasons u know.

they (co) from GHANA don't believe any relationship is bonafide only a few get threw N I believe they do that so it want make them look bad if I was you I would go N get married I had to get a lawyer N they file all the paperwork and I supply the evidence and if I run into any problems during the interview because I'm planning on being there for my husband interview by the grace of God if I can be of vany assistance just let me know
  2. Hi guys I'm new here. I need help guys Pls help me find some answers to my questions. My fiancée went for the interview in home country and he was told by the consular that he sees our relationship as a mere one. He had provided tons of evidence you can't even imagine. So she told him his application was gonna be send back to the USCIS for review. So I checked his case today and it say AP. What is going on as AP here means good news to a lot of people on this forum. Please I need your help. You guys are awesome.by the way his also in the 221(g) thing

all I can say go back to GHANA and marry him only positive chance
  3. The lawyer was good for your case because you didn't understand the process.

OP does not require a lawyer at this time (except to try to request another interview before case gets returned and a senator can request that

for free.) It's not about the law but about spending more time together to overcome the red flags.

Money for a lawyer is better spend on a trip to visit and longer than a few days.

If they marry and file a CR1 then they can follow the guidelines here on VJ without a lawyer.

but look at their situation if I was them I would hire a lawyer if they do the cr-1
  4. I'm preparing to send in my I-129F file tomorrow and I just have a few things I need clarified.

Is it a bad thing if I send a statement of meeting from both I and my fiancé? I had him send one to me before I read that I should write the statement. So I also wrote one. Should I just keep his and send mine? Or is it ok to send both?

Should we be worried about sending in a lot of evidence of our relationship, past and current? Such as screen shots of our conversations on Facebook and Skype? I have some printouts of our Skype chat and call logs from the last month, and copies of letters sent by both of us over the last year, but I wasn't planning on sending more than that. I'm sending evidence of our meeting; boarding passes, my e-ticket, passport stamps, train and bus tickets from when I was there, as well as many photographs, is that enough?

Also I read that currently for the forms it's ok to leave blank spaces if the question is not applicable and does not directly state to write none in the space, is this correct?

Thanks in advance for the help!

IF IT DONT APPLY TO YOU OR YOUR FIANCE I WOULD STILL PUT NONE OR N/A BECAUSE IM THINKING I READ ON THE VISA WEBSITE DONT LEAVE NO SPACE BLANK.
  5. Thank you all for your contribution. My fiancee has only visited Nigeria once and she could stay just 5 days due to the nature of her work(customer service). The consular did not give that as a reason for my denial but that i have a baby mama with whom i have a child. What if my fiancee refile and include my son in the new petition? Will that clear the air? or Do we wait until our petition gets back to uscis and let our attorney respond to the reason of denial? I am so confused.

MY ADVICE IS TO GET MARRIED IN YOU COUNTRY AND SPEND AT LEAST TWO WEEKS TOGETHER AFTER MARRYING I VISIT MY HUSBAND TWICE N EACH TIME 30 days but my job understood
  6. I was denied a fiancee visa 4 days ago at the US consulate in

Lagos,Nigeria despite having loads of evidence(40 Pictures,

several pages of email & whatsapp correspondence, visa &

stamps, boarding pass, ticket) that our relationship is genuine.A

lady who was a friend got pregnant for me a month before I met

my US citizen fiancee but we were not even dating not to talk of

being lovers.Infact, it was a big mistake and we don't I even see

eye to eye till date.I told my US fiancee about it from the very

first day that we met, she appreciated my honesty and took it in

good faith. As a truthful man that i have always been, I filled in

my DS 160 form that I have a child despite the fact that the child

was still unborn when my fiancee filed a k1 petition on my

behalf. To my surprise, the Consular officer picked on that and

told me he was refusing me a k1 visa cos I had a child from

another woman. Is that enough of a reason for k1 visa denial?

My fiancee wrote a strong-worded email to the US consulate

yesterday requesting that my case be reviewed but I'm not sure

they will respond to it. What can we do now? Should we refile or

wait till our case is returned to the uscis? We are already looking

into hiring an immigration attorney. Your candid response will

    be appreciated. Thanks!

THE BEST THING TO DO NOW IS HIRE A LAWYER IMMEDIATELY. IS YOUR PETITION STILL IN LAGOS IF SO MAYBE YOU HIRING A LAWYER NOW MAY HELP WHILE STILL IN NIGERIA. I HAVE A LAWYER NOW BUT WAS MARRIED WHEN I FILED A K1 VISA BECAUSE I WAS TOLD MY MARRIAGE IN GHANA WOULDN'T BE ACCEPTED IN THE STATES BUT MY K1 WAS PUT ON A AP N SENT BACK TO THE STATES. MY LAWYER TOLD ME TO CONSIDERED THAT AS A DENIAL AND HE WOULD HELP ME FILE MY SPOUSAL SO THATS WHAT IM DOING NOW SO I SUGGEST A LAWYER.
  7. The 221-g white slip she received after the first interview had "administrative processing" checked and the CO told her that she just needed more time to work on our case. She asked if she needed to bring anything else to the second interview and was told "no, just this slip and your passport." At the second interview, there was no interview, simply we were called to the window where she had a denial letter and our documents ready to give back. I asked what was the reason and she stuttered around for a minute and then said, "it was based on the first interview ". I asked for her to please be more specific and she shook her head no and said "you will receive a letter explaining more, i am sorry for the bad news, have a nice day". I asked her...do you not believe in something? She wouldn't answer, but just said again, "have a nice day ".

Daniel please get a lawyer when you file your marriage visa without a lawyer it may trigger another denial. I wouldn't go no other way but with a lawyer cause my case maybe a little more difficult because I filed a k-1 but didn't because was told US wouldn't honor my marriage but after speaking with the lawyer yes they do so the money I'm paying him will be worth every dime because he may have to argue my case but my lawyer suggested that if I can to try attend his interview when its time so I'm going to try and my plans are for one or two weeks.
  8. So he had his second interview and they still kept them in AP?

I'm curious what were her initials? They would be on the 221g form that she gave him.

And what did she look like?

Most importantly did he have the same lady both times for both interviews?

    Thanks

CL WAS HER INITIALS WHITE OLDER LOOKING LADY HE SAID AND YES HE HAD THE SAME LADY BOTH TIME THIS SECOND AP SHE GAVE NO REASON WHY AND I WAS SUPPOSE TO BE RECEIVING INFORMATION WHAT HAPPEN IM GOING TO EMAIL THE EMBASSY MONDAY TO SEE WHY MY PETITION IS STILL IN GHANA WHEN IT WAS TO BE RETURN OVER A MONTH ALMOST TWO MONTHS AGO BUT I HAVE READ WHERE THEY SAY MOST CASE ARE RESOLVE WITHIN SIXTY DAYS IDK WHAT THE PROBLEM IS
  9. Has anyone ever been issued 221g requiring you to bring in more info and then when you do you get put back into AP?

Honestly they asked for more emails cause apparently 65 pages worth over six years was not enough and cards from regular post. With postmarked envelopes!

yes to my fiancee everyone is getting put on 221g but this lady has to b stopped we have to see what's taking place why is everyone is being put on 221g my petition was suppose to been back here to the states still not here I hope things go well for u
