Yours is going pretty fast :)

  2. I have a question concerning the Affidavit of Support Form along with the AOS packet. When we sent it out we didn't have my husband's W2 for 2013 so we sent everything until 2012.

There is one question in the affidavit of support that says: "My current annual income" and what we did was just multiply his last paycheck for 12 but we just got our W2 for 2013 and the amount that the document states is not what the result of our multiplication was, it way less because it doesn't show the salary he is making now.

We are just worried because we put a wrong amount in that question because we didn't have the w2 yet, needless to say the w2 for 2013 is over the poverty limit but we are just afraid that it will cause troubles. We have our biometrics appt in two weeks. Should we mention it?

    Thank you!

I wouldnt mention anything, if was a problem they would have requested before, i would think, and if they need they will probably ask you to bring to the interview :)

  3. Omg ####### is this thread???

The "let's compare stories about how we all broke the law and adjusted our statuses?"

Thanks for being part of the problem why we IR1/CR1 filers doing it the right way have to wait a year to be reunited with our spouses.

The immigration process makes NO SENSE whatsoever.

You should not judge people like that, YOU dont know people stories. I saw what you had said about me, but you probably deleted, FIRST of all MY HUSBAND is not my sugar daddy!! MY parents brought me here when i was a kid, so its not like i had a choice to NOT stay here... AND yea after i became an adult, life here is all i knew. SO STOP judding!!

  4. Hello

first, forgive me if this topic has already been discussed,

i came to US on a B2 visa, overstayed and got married! and here is my story (a true one):

i landed in L.A and my plan was to stay there for 2 months and 2 in Nashville, after my arrival in Nashville i was looking for a hotel and asked a lady for directions, her name is Amanda, somehow she was going pass there so we walked and talked for like 45 minutes and met each other, i told her that iam from iraq and she asked about my religion and i told her that iam a muslim so we started to talk about religion, until that time i didn't know anything about christianity but she told so many good things about it, for e.g Jesus techs us to love our enemies, and she got me a copy of Holy Bible, i read it, it was really interesting, peaceful, so i converted to christianity, and when i told my family; they threatened to kill me for this and i decided to not to go home (one and a half week before my visa expiration) so i overstayed, i was in with amanda in her parents house, we really liked each other and were always together, after 4 months of my visa expiration i asked amanda to marry me, we were wife and husband after one month, and i started working in a local market, and now it has been 3 years since my visa expiration, we have a 2 months old boy and we're still in her parents house, so i was going to apply an application for adjustment of status but i read many things on the net that have me very confused, for e.g i will be deported to iraq and stay there for the next 10 years because of my overstay and working without employment authorization (iam a dead man if go back there),

tell me what should i do? please explain it step by step, and do you think i will be deported? or can i stay in US while my AOS pending? iam still working btw.

I just applied for my OAS and i overstayed my visa by 13 years.. You dont need to go back..
