Hello .

Several people (including Saylin in the wiki) have mentioned that nothing should be left blank in form i-864 and you should type "none" or N/A. However, I found myself trying to do so and some parts of the form look kind of ridiculous lol (see attached thumbnail). Should it really be like that?

Does anyone have screenshots of this form- besides the sample form on the site...A lot of spaces are blank there, so I don't feel like I should follow that sample....

All I can do is share my experience, I left all that blank and had no problem leaving it blank. I only filled out important parts on it.

I just wanted to share you the good news that I received from USCIS. We are currently processing the K3 visa. My husband submitted the documents @ USCIS just last March 21. We got the Receipt Notice last March 27 by email. He received the copy of NOA1 on April 1, then sent the I-129f packet on April 2. Today, I checked the status of our I-130 and this is what I saw. Thank you Lord :-) :-) :-)

On April 10, 2014, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I130 IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR RELATIVE, FIANCE(E), OR ORPHAN. Please follow any instructions on the notice. If you move before you receive the notice, call customer service at 1-800-375-5283.

So After many up and down in my case..

I finally got my case number.

How do you know if it's a False Checklist? Do you have to call and I don't understand why they would send one seems really mean to me.

NVC sends out a checklist after reviewing one of the two packages sent. Often they review AOS package first. They issue a checklist for IV package. Which they usually already have, they just don't want to look. That's why it's called a false checklist since it's not required to respond.

I got my interview date today! :-) May 22nd!!!!!!!!

Second round of scheduling has started, just like last month!!

You will have to wait till end of the month. NVC usually schedules last week of the month or first. Your interview date will fall in June. You should post in May interview thread.

NVC completed our case on 3/12/2014, how long should we wait to get a interview letter for New Delhi consulate??

What's the procedure?

Your interview date will be scheduled end of this month for some date in May. April slots seem like they are full. Keep checking your email towards end of the month for interview letter.

Its strange because right before I got the emails I was on the phone with my husband crying because we decided it is better to cancel my trip. His mom is really sick. She is having migraines and the doctors aren't sure what is wrong with her. It is better not to have house guests when she is feeling so bad. I would feel horrible because she would feel obligated to cook etc... so we were discussing a better time when she is better. I was so upset, he was so upset. We hung up the phone... then 15 minutes later the emails came through. Things happen for a reason I guess because now it makes more sense to wait and see if the K3 makes it down to the embassy. God works in mysterious ways !!!

I will pray that your mother in law recovers fast from the migraines. I have a gut feeling everything will go your way now. I just called my wife told her about your case that you have been waiting almost since a year! She was shocked and wanted me to say good luck from her behalf.
