  1. It's most certainly not just you. I want to say, hang in there. But I've been hanging in there myself, and it's not nice at all.

But seriously, though, have you guys noticed, TSC has had almost NO approvals these past few days. WHAT THE $^(^@() is going on there??

I beat my head against a wall every day wondering the same thing.... :ranting::clock:

  2. Also, dont most transfer happen many months into the process. My one is transfer in about 3 weeks after submit the K-1 application.

I do not think my fiance can handle anymore time being apart. She is getting restless and is going nuts. Lucky December is around the corner when I there for the holidays.

    Hi there,

Your petition was not transferred. It was simply routed from the Texas lockbox (where everyone sends their petitions) to CSC. You live in California so the CSC was going to process your petition anyway. You are probably looking at a 3 - 4 month wait for your NOA2 but it is difficult to accurately predict the actual time.

Good luck on your journey and yeah, most of us can relate to your restless state :)

  3. Yeah... Too bad everything is a brick wall on my end. I should hear back from my one congressman on the 7th. Or at least I'll be reaching back out to them. They said they "give USCIS 1 month to respond to the inquiry". Sounds real proactive... Not! Best of luck. Try anything and everything. That's what I'm doing. You never know.

Hopefully those bricks start collapsing for you :). With all that you have tried, surely something will come out of it. Keeping my fingers crossed for you. :)

  4. Serious question. Do you guys mind me posting stuff? I feel bad because some are still waiting for approvals/NOA2. I just don't want to be insensitive to anyone! :/

Not at all. This isn't a forum for just pending everything :)

If it is too painful to read, we just don't read it. No worries.

    Carry on. :)

  5. Congrats on all the new approvals.

Congrats to all future approvals for transfers too. This thread is now as depressing as reading CSC threads were the past few months so I won't be around for a while.

It has been 9 months since I saw my fiance and this is like sitting in a high pressure zone, praying for rain and watching it all go around me. Painful.

Happy for all of you though...best wishes!!

  6. If you are within 30 days of normal processing time, that is exactly what they will tell you. And your Senator and Congress Member will tell you the same thing. Tried both.

The website says 6 months and when checking the requirements for Ombudsman, it said nothing beyond what instructed, so as far as I am concerned, I am outside normal processing times now. Others have had success with their representatives and were nowhere near 6 months so it is a roll of the dice and a matter of whether yours want to work for you or not. I am going to try rather than sit on my butt waiting another month or two. Screw that.

I will also provide adequate data backing up my claim that December 31st is a bogus number. We see hundreds of Jan-April filers here at VJ to debunk that claim.

At this point, it can't hurt.

  7. Great news... Just got our email with our Approval right now!!!! :dancing:

    NOA1: 02-Apr-2014

    Transferred to CSC: 11-Aug-2014

    NOA2: 29-Aug-2014

Congrats to all the recent approvals!!!! And to all the ones that haven't been approved, don't worry, your time is coming. We nearly got to 5 months, but I'm sure they are starting to pick it up at CSC with all the transfers, and TSC is really knocking them out super quick.

Best of luck to all and God bless!

    Congrats!! :dancing:

  8. They always say the earliest months they are working on at the moment. Let that not discourage you. But check here - they are actually already working on so many March an April petitions!

    http://www.visajourney.com/timeline/monthly_filers.php?form=1&visa=1&scenter=3&option=2&sortby=2

50% of March petitions (from 5 months ago) have been approved aleady! Why do you think you will be not in that 50% when your 5 months pass?

Maybe because he/she is noticing March filers reaching 6 months and not in that 50% :(:clock:

  9. Thank you. I ask a gazillion questions I know lol. I do however worry since they never emailed me my NOA-T will they forget to mail me .....*sigh*

No worries. That is what the forum is for :). They won't forget you. The transfer notice isn't important..your NOA2 is and I can only recall one person that did not receive a hard copy but soon thereafter they received a copy after calling.

I would recommend reading the guides as they are an invaluable resource for you and I would also start gathering the documents you will need after NOA2 as I don't think it is too far off for you. Always better to be a step ahead if possible even with a busy schedule :)

  10. FINALLY!!!!!! On Monday is my flight and I ll be with my babyyyyy...

Im soooooo excited!!!! Any tip??? My POE of entry is Miami.

Like others have said, be patient, relax and follow instructions. Some of the officers can be rude so just smile, be nice and do as they ask. Your rings should not be an issue but you never know what kind of suspicion it might raise with them so maybe wear on your right hand for an hour or just take them off to get through in order to avoid any unnecessary delays.

Congrats, have a safe flight and welcome to the USA. :)

  11. Congrats to all who were approved. We also got our's last night which was totally unexpected! My fiance bursted into tears and was jumping with joy. For those who are still waiting, I hope you hang in there as things are finally moving at a decent pace.

On a side note, does anyone know what needs to happen next as far as process and forms needing submitting?

Thanks and best of luck to everyone who are waiting.

    Congrats!!
