Yes, I just got married in Ikoyi in May 2014 and my husband paided $450 prior to me coming and I sent him a spinster letter my passport page and he made copies of my passport photo to give them. (Also, everything had to be in color, even his passport page.) You need to send all of this prior to going. You will need to give the officant something as well. The day of the wedding, our family and his friends all gave her money.( You can give wine and other stuff.) We also had to pay $1000N for a offical photo.

chris_trina you cannot say that what this person is going through is wrong. The fact is it can happen to anyone. His country has nothing to do with it; especially since more than his country is flagged for fraud. (Don't throw stones).

To the gentleman, if talking doesn't work, how about counseling? You honestly don't know if the daughter recent you because she wanted her parents to stay together or what her mom is telling her. I've seen so many few guys go through this. The wife doesn't respect them and neither does the children.

If you must go make sure all your ducks are in a row. Because once you leave her, she will not help you with paperwork or anything else. She surely will lied about why you came over to. (Don't be surprised!) Also, go get checked out and present her with the results. The proof is in the pudding! Maybe then she will be willing to have an adult conversation.

I know this is old but I liked your comeback. I am going to Nigeria to visit. My question is how much do I need to show in my bank account? I've been many places and this is the first time I needed to show my bank statement as part of a tourist visa. I am staying at a hotel but my fiancé sent a LOI along with a letter of introduction from his uncle who is The Assistant Deputy for Media in Lagos. I want send my visa off but dnt understand the amount of money needed. He says not a lot, but is to small? Thanks
