dakotatp got a reaction from Divya&Kush in GSS Registration Confirmation page?
I submitted my question to the US Embassy and got a reply.
The correct confirmation page should look like the example attached, with the applicant’s personal information on each field. If you proceed to the very end and click “Printable version”, you should be able to print off this page and send it to our office with your packet 3 documents or bring it along on the interview date.
The Immigrant Visa fee for CR-1 applicant (spouse of US Citizen) can be paid directly at the Embassy’s cashier on the visa interview date. (Krungsri bank does not handle fee payment for this type of visa)
    Best Regards,
    Immigrant Visa unit

dakotatp got a reaction from CowBoE in Translator's Certification
I got the answer. The US Embassy officially recognizes 6 different translation companies, but acknowledges that there are many more. Attached is a list of those 6 companies.
A photocopy of the translation company's certification issued to them by the Thai government must be obtained from any translation company that is not on the US Embassy's list. In other words, a copy of their occupational license must be obtained. They should be able to scan this and email it to any client who makes a request.

dakotatp got a reaction from TeaCup in I-864 Affidavit of Support: This might be helpful.
Yes, the joint sponsor will check box 1.d. Your husband would be the Petitioner. He would check the top box.
I'm pretty sure the Petitioner and/or joint sponsor should put down their current address. The Immigrant Visa Form, I-130 in my case, has a place to indicate the future address in the states.
No, you or no one is counted twice.
    You are welcome!!
also, please note that the form does NOT have to be notarized.
