Congratz !!!!! i think im the most unlucky one here..lol.......got the Alien Registration Number changed msg for both CR1 and K3 on 4/15...so far still nothing..alot of people got this msg and got approved next day....

As today is Good Friday, I doubt they are in the office but start launching an orchestrated effort and email every single day to get their attention. That's BS that you are still waiting.

i noticed the the alien number was changed on 4/15, but i got the msg on for update on 4/17..weird..i thought they update couple times a day

called today again..told me it's pending name check...nothing they can do...fuk..last week they told me already finished reviewing my case on march 18th and congrated me...stupiest bullshit ever

tingting1990, can you tell me how to talk to a tier 2 officer? I need to call them and confirm whether they shipped my case. So far, I've made many unsuccessful attempts at calling and I can't even get to a tier 1.

i just call the 1800-375-5283 , --> check case status --> report problem with my application --> ask tier 1 agent to transfer to tier 2 officer

No, I wouldn't believe him and I sure wouldn't wait that long either. Call every day and write emails. Emails I learned through this process have a lot of power when written to the right people.

Call and talked to a tier 2 officer today..he said they finished reviewing my i130 on march 18th. .. told me to wait until the end of this month for decision....ah damn...should i believe him ?

hmm...but i got couple reply emails from NSC, and both senators..they never mentioned pending background check.......

I think your case being waiting for background check from another agency. My case was assigned to NSC officer in Dec 2013. And now, response to my Senator, USCIS said that my case is pending under background check clearance and wait another 30 days. Because they still waiting from another agency to release my background checks

my file was assigned to a officer for adjudication on 2/19/2014 according to my senator.. since 30 days has passed..i asked my senator made another inquiry for me. and got the following reply.

anyone have any idea what kind of information they are waiting for???.......thank you

I got this today..i never send them anything since i filed. But did a service request and e-request two weeks ago. I think its related to the e-request i did online. Hope they are working on my case now..

Yes, it is something but I think lucybelle had a bad experience with RFE so I am not raising my hopes. It means an additional delay till the RFE mail reaches us, the time taken to get what they want and then time till they receive our mail. All spells PRECIOUS TIME WASTED to me. I pray you get your approval soon and it better be an approval not an RFE. You have been waiting even longer than me, sheesh! Do contact your senator.

my senator made an inquiry for me on 2/3/2013. but hadn't heard anything from her yet. i also made service request on 1/31/2013 too..so far nothing..sad and depressed like the rest

That post needs to be edited. We contacted the senator on Feb 4 and today, Feb 5, our website status is changed to RFE.

we still waiting......pd for NOA1 is Feb 25th 2013...did e-request, service request, no help........ asked senator for help, and waiting to hear back from senator..

my PD is Feb 25th 2013, transfered to NSC on Nov. 6th. 2013...still nothing................son is 3 month old now..sucks to be seperated for another year or more..
