    Dude, not cool. There are positions within the federal government where you work like a dog and have to be extremely good at what you do to survive. Given the number of cases and the backlog, I'm thinking USCIS is a production environment where the employees there also have to work really hard.

    Your congressman (and two senators) are the only ones that matter. I have a few friends in offices on the hill and tried to hit up one of them for a favor, they referred me back to my local congressman because only that person can do this on my behalf. Definitely do it in 15 days though.
    I've seen it be for a few people in other threads. They mostly hit on the TSC/CSC disparity of number of applications. I chose to make my request about shifting of resources from huge backlog to huge backlog and state that they are not effectively managing their resources. Both of these are valid concerns, but I decided to be different in hope that they'd have to come up with a different response.

    Hopefully we'll all get it soon. I called our congressman's office and asked for them to inquire (and submitted a similar request in writing.) I took aim at the backlog and the fact that they are shifting resources elsewhere. We'll see how it goes. But, we hit our 4 month mark in about 30 minutes.
