rana300. I noticed your GC is more than 5 years old- So technically you are eligible for Naturalization interview like today. I think those who file 90 days before their due ceremony, don't get INLINE status until they are just 1 month behind their 3 or 5 year ceremony. . This may be wrong too- cause i completed my 4 years 11 months yesterday and they haven't updated my status from FP Schedule to INLINE. :( . As far as i know -  They will always interview us after we have completed our due term on GC.  I also didn't receive any notification ( Email/Text)  for FP appointment, despite i sent that E-notification form- But i did receive a text for case acceptance.

I got in line 2 months before my 3 yr anniversary. I think it really depends on FP. However your reasoning of not being interviewed until after anniversary is likely to be correct. I've been waiting for too long it feels like.

  2. Hello,

No update here....still seeing the FP massage in the website.

I've tried calling but Dallas office seems to be very unhelpful.

Hopefully will receive a letter in the mail with interview date. I think Dallas office is very busy and nobody bother to do updates regularly. I am not in Texas and I can't schedule an infopass as a right now. Will wait patiently, what else to do... I am seeing a lot of people already did their interviews or at least know their dates. I really hope to receive a interview letter by the end of December. I have planned trips to Europe for next year and finger cross I will be a citizen by then. Good luck to everyone, thanks a lot to all the people In the form. You guys are big help.

Hi Vicky, although I'm not a Dallas filer, I have been in line for over two months now. We're in the same waiting boat.

It is also kind of discouraging, as I see people in the October thread that have had their interviews and notice for oath date.

  3. I don't know what your timeline is but I applied in July, did my bio in August, and just in late November they came back to me with another request for bio. So right now I don't even know where my case stands anymore. I haven't even been notify that I'm line for an interview. Seems like it's taking a long time. Good luck!

Hey!! I'm so happy to finally "know" someone from the same Field Office. I filed in September and got Bio done in Mid October and a few days after got put "in line" but ever since I've been waiting. Did they say why you had to do another bio apt? Are you a military filler?

  4. On another website, people said USCIS informed them that they won't do anything until it passes 180 days (6 months). Unless you are stuck in the name check, the whole process should be done within 6 months- depending on how busy your field office is. If you are stuck in the name check, it can take longer than one year. There's a gentleman on another website who's stuck in the name check and finally got his interview schedules after waiting for 14 months.

It's never a dull moment dealing with USCIS!

I assume all checks are cleared once an individual is placed in in line for interview.

  5. Thank you. I hope you will get your date soon! One thing I found out is that my file took a whole month to get to Pittsburgh, from NBC. They requested my file on 10/14 and called me to schedule my appointment on 11/16. That's very long time frame!!!!

I spoke with a tier two today. She told me my file has been at field office sine 11/16... I see that my office is processing cases from march 16 as of September 22. I am incredibly stressed!

  6. I just tried to call again and was transferred to a Tier 2 only to be directed straight to a call back line, waiting time: 200 minutes!

    Damn!

I put in my info, but must admit, based on info I've read on here, I'm not holding my breath for a call back.

You'll get a call! I've had the call back plenty of times. And they will call you back even if it goes after hours. Also, I doubt they'll have two weeks off for xmass. Not even the federal govt has that kind of time off.

  7. Just got an email, can someone update my case please?

    Interview Was Scheduled

On November 9, 2016, we scheduled an interview for your Form N-400, Application for Naturalization

    My timeline so far;

    Interview scheduled: 11/9/2016

    In line for interview 10/19/2016

    Fingerprints: 9/26/2016

    Cashed: 9/8/2016

    NOA: 9/7/2016

Congrats! You have probably mentioned it before, or your info is somewhere in the timeline thingy; but would you mind sharing whether you're 3 or 5 year filer and when it is that your 3 or 5 year mark is?

  8. Awesome! I filed my application before my husband got his international order assignment. He's DOD contractor. His company only gave him 3 weeks notice. It's either he went or he had to find a new job. So we ended up asking our Senator for help with the expedite. The FO isn't a busy one but we have no clue how long it will take for the file to be transferred from NBC to the field office. I hope mine will be fast. FO told the senator's assistant that my interview and oath will be on the same day. My husband is now abroad but our 3 kids and I are stuck here.

As my case is going, I can't contact 1-800 numbers because the communication between the congressmen and FO [filed office] will not show on the screen. The L-2 officers suggested me to contact the FO through the Senator's assistant. It's crazy and I wish it will be over soon.

We just need to hang in there!! We will all be done with USCIS soon enough!
