Think I'm gonna start issuing my own checklists for people not following directions on my form request sheet Just added/updated 10 people and very few actually followed the instructions perfectly

No supervisor reviews allowed! Re-submitting until perfect is the only way

Looking for guidance. We currently have two petitions at NVC right now (CR1 and CR2-stepson) and we are trying to complete our AOS package while waiting for access to CEAC. My husband (petitioner) and i (beneficiary) have two children together as well who are US citizens. They just received their CRBA's, but they have no SSN's so they were not claimed on my husbands taxes. My issue is this for household size. I have been told by NVC that my US citizen children should not be counted on any of the i-864's because they are not listed on my husbands taxes. The rep repeatedly told me this is not a misrepresentation and the I-864 must reflect the petitioners taxes and not what the amendments would be. Also, the petitioners stepson is a dependent , because I am currently unemployed. WE ALL LIVE IN THE SAME HOUSE IN CANADA WITH THE PETITIONER. What should I do??

So I get up this morning and am getting ready for work when i receive an email from my lawyer. It seems that when he logged tried to log in this morning at the payment portal it said in a BIG RED BOX…."this case is in the process of being terminated, if you think you have received this message in error, please contact the NVC". So of course I called up NVC .. TWICE (the first time the operator HUNG UP ON ME, as i wanted to speak to her supervisor). Apparently if you log into payment portal now "too many times" (in logged in twice and my lawyer logged in this morning once) they put this message ON. It will go away once they process, send us an email, and the bills are ready to pay.
Has this happened to ANYONE ELSE???? I don't trust them.
Background --- i got the case number and IIN number yesterday, so i went to log in to see --- i tried to log into the DS261(one time) and the payment portal (twice), and then my lawyer must have done it this morning and hence appears the message saying our case is in the process of termination.
Let me play devil's advocate --- fine i logged in three times in 24 hours and thats TOO MUCH LOGGING IN>… for a country thats native language in ENGLISH ---- cannot the red box say, Sorry you cannot log in as you have exceeded more than the number OR you cannot get access as your case is under process…. WHY IN THE WORLD WOULD YOU SAY---- that your case is in the process of being TERMINATED"…WHY????? WHO designed this SYSTEM!!!! I thought USCIS was bad…..but damn, NVC is leaving them far behind.

Your the kindest person thank you so much. I did go to Congresswoman's Napolitano's office and face to face spoke with them but nothing was ever done, called, e-mailed them and nothing. Then I called Barbara Boxer and one of her snots did send a letter which said I had to wait but Napolitano had me hanging for four months kept saying they were looking into it. It seems to be such a joke seems Immigration is above the law and more so the Embassy counselors and our lives are in their hands. Mommy and Daddy will decide our lives.
Thank you for understanding and I feel the same way as you do when I see filers from my second filing date the one USCIS changed it was heart breaking but what can we do.

Well, it's all in NVC's hands (or their email inboxes) now!
Filled in the DS260 tonight (thank goodness for the exemplar on the website - I made up a Word document that I could just copy from one to the other... which was a good thing, because it didn't show up as available to fill out until after 9pm tonight (and we were packing to move, so I didn't actually see it until almost midnight). Anyway, I didn't have to think too much about it, just type while looking at my "cheat sheet"!
They have everything - I suppose it's possible that there'll be something they don't like or that for whatever reason, I'll get a checklist, but I've been as diligent as I know how to be, and with any luck, we'll be looking at a case complete near the end of July or the beginning of August - wouldn't that be awesome?
I'm bummed that the ds261 fiasco killed our chances of an August interview - we're going to be in eastern Canada then anyway, and it would have saved us probably $1200+ in airfare and hotels... but there's nothing we can do about that now, so we'll just have to work on making some friends in Montreal we can stay with when we come back in a couple months(!)
