    I have stopped calling NVC since a month, for any updates, they are so rudee!!!! Like their doing us a favor by answering our questions.

    There's this one lady that answers in the morning, she sounds like a damn robot, i hate when she answers.

    plz God get us all out of this hell, i seriously am on the verge of a nervous breakdown

    Omg the same reason why I hate calling! I thought I was the only one! I get the same lady, it makes my stomach turn upside down every time I call and it's her! She's so dry.... Like you said God help us in this and free us all from AP hell :(

    Yea same happened with me yesterday but @Sarahch said earlier that she said docs on 27th March but embassy acknowledged on 6th April, so I'm sure n hope ours will be updated in coming days and is ur husband in AP n for how long n do u know the reason?

    I hope so too! :) .... Yes my hubby is in AP I really don't know why, could be many things, at the interview CO was surprised I only stayed for 2 weeks in Pakistan and said it would've been better if I had attended the interview with my husband..AP could also be because my husband is a civil engineer, could be because he works at pakistan motorway highway police, could be because we met online...who knows...and now embassy tells us that at the interview the CO noted on my husbands 221g paper that he should submit proof of ongoing relationship which is not true, he noted nothing on the paper...the CO asked my husband if he had the documents and my husband gave it to him at the interview so now after 5 months they tell us this....interview was November 7.

    Thanks for the info Sarahch, I sent the docs and same day I sent email to embassy saying that I have sent my docs and scanned the receipt too and they replied the next daythat they haven't recieved it n I should contact them after four weeks with receipt number even I mentioned everything in email n today NVC says the same that they sent me that email!! i wonder why they replied the next that they haven't recieved it and wait four weeks even its Amex next day service?

    Same thing happened with my husband, he submitted the documents yesterday morning, so at night time he emailed them to let them know and today they replied...

    Dear Sir/Madam,

    Our record indicates that we have not yet received your documents. If you have recently submitted documents, please check back with our office after 4 weeks. If you submitted documents over 4 weeks ago, please provide us with evidence of submission such as a couriers air way bill number or tracking number and we will have our record reviewed.

    Omg your AP might have ended a while back , all this wasted time of agony, and still we dont know how long they will take to review this new evidence. When. My husband first got the 221g the CO typed out actually what we needed to give them, they were no tick marks , just what they were asking for.

    Exactly my point! I really can't wait to be done with all this, I know all of us who are suffering will be finished with AP some day :( Inshallah.

    I can't believe how irresponsible are the people at the embassy! My husband called NVC... And they told him that the day of the interview the CO noted on the 221g that he gave to my husband that we must submit proof of relationship between my husband and I...are they serious?! The 221g slip says absolutely nothing! The CO didn't check anything on the slip! The only thing he checked was the box for AP and told my husband to just wait and nothing else was needed... So now the embassy thinks we haven't submitted anything these 5 months! It was the CO fault! If he would've noted it on the 221g slip we would've submitted everything that same week! These People are so wrong.

    My interview is scheduled on 20 April. I am already scared after seeing so many people in AP here and hearing scary stories about islamabad embassy. Any advice friends?

    Try to have faith, every case is different it all depends on your situation if you have any red flags etc...you can be one of the lucky ones to get approved instantly with no AP but If you do get AP you have to be strong about it and provide embassy everything they ask for...be Prepared!

    Proof that you got married is not enough if the embassy has doubts about your relationship. You must show them that you are a loving couple and that you communicate on a regular basis. They also do this to some couples that have been in AP for a long time to make sure they are still together. A letter from the petitioner would be great saying that you are in love and still together, etc.

    Do not feel stressed. If they are asking for documents it is a good sign. They could just deny the visa without asking for anything. They are giving you a second chance to get your visa.

    Yeah you're right about that :) I like the idea of the letter from my side.. Do you know if It has to be notarized and send by mail? Or can I just make the letter, scan it, and email it to my husband?

    Send them everything you have for relationship proof...give them 500 pages...whatever you have...overload them. Just make sure you keep copies of what you send them too for your records. Send them everything from what you took to interview and since then. That should do it. BEST WISHES!!! Get on it ASAP! Let us know after you send it!!!! :idea:

    Im working on it! lol you know what pisses me off? They want proof of relationship, isn't our Nikah and marriage certificate enough? What more proof than that?! its crazy and stressfull I tell you.

    Have you sent anything since this letter? If not, why are you waiting so long and asking about it now? The Embassy wants what it wants, you have to give it to them.

    We received this email today...my husband emailed them today and they replied within a few hours...that's the thing...we have never been contacted until now, since my husbands interview I have sent about 5 emails so my husband decided he will send the email this time and they replied him quick, I don't know they never replied to me. I have also contacted NVC by phone many times and they just tell him he's under ap and just to wait.

    The day of my husbands interview the CO requested these documents for proof of relationship (Skype, facebook, call records) hubby had it all and gave all this to the CO and kept it. My husband had everything even pics which the CO saw but didn't keep the pics. At the end of the interview the CO returned my husbands civil doc and passport and issued the 221g slip for additional administrative processing and was told to just wait, the slip doesn't say anything about submitting any more documents! ugh! I think the CO head was not in place that day.

    We feel lost, we don't even know what to send since they didn't specify.

    Hey guys! So my husband sent and email to the embassy today and they quickly replied within a few hours...

    This is the email-

    On November 7, 2014, that is the day of your interview, Embassy personnel provided you in writing materials/documents proving relationship between you and your petitioner. This is neededed to continue processing your application to completion. Please submit all the documents through one of the addresses given in this list. Here is a link to the list of couriers for your convenience http://islamabad.usembassy.gov/courier_services.html. Your failure to comply with these instructions may result in the termination of your case.

    My question is why are they requesting this if at the interview the CO asked my husband for this and he provided everything at the interview, are they asking for it again? I'm so angry I don't even understand the email

    To see how many times I have visited and how long i stayed, i went back in 2013, i dont have the damn ticket, but do have the stamps, i have what theyre asking for.

    YESSS i sent them loads of pics, me hubby, me my in laws, my hubby with my family. Casual pictures. My husband is so pissed, he's like just give it or not, but why have us hanged in the middle when everything is infront of them.

    Soo sooo frustrating.

    Good thing is you have it all to send. And Carolynhotstuff is right, thank God its not denied. Inshallah everything will be alright.

    My husband got call today from embassy asking for additional evidence

    western union receipts

    call records

    exit/entry stamps

    airline ticket stubs

    They havent asked for medical yet :(

    Omg They are full of #######! All they like to do is delay delay delay...

    Why do they ask for airline ticket and exit/entry stamps? Didnt they see pics of you both together in Pakistan?

    Yes they work on saturdays and even on sundays some times and u r so lucky to get an update on saturday...VJ history shows that people who got updates on weekends specially on sundays received their visas very soon so I pray and hope inshAllah you will get your visa very soon...Plz remember us all in your prayers as well

    history whoever had weekend updates I hope your visa coming very soon. insha allha I also pray for that please keep praying for all of us as well
