Oh i see, so it will come from nvc and not from uscis? Yep we're receiving them by both email and snail mail..i just cant find any number except for the msc one from both noa1 and noa2. Thanks
Unfortunately, I can only speak based on my own experience, but yes, my Beneficiary ID Number came from the NVC, along with the case number. I suggest you check with the USCIS by calling them , I am sure they will provide it to you...

It took us 5 months before we finally got the NVC Case Number. Filed Dec 03, 2012 and got the NVC Case Number May 30, 2013.

Hi, uhmm where can that be found? I checked our noa2 and theres no number or whatsoever above the beneficiary's name.. :/
Hello! In my case, we have everything sent to us via Email. All notifications, checklist, and instructions from the NVC were sent to us via email. In fact, none was sent to us via Regular Mail. And so, the "Beneficiary ID Number" was sent to us together with the "Invoice ID NUmber", via email. Are you getting your paperworks both email and regular mail? try to find an 8 digit number. It should be there. it's all in numbers and no letters...

It is better to call the NVC and ask them the right way to do it. However, from what I understand, since you are filing for the CR-1 which is the application for Spouse Visa and all the forms for the entire process, you should use your husband's name. They may have to ask you to correct the forms and re-submit.... But calling is the best way, I suggest...

In all forms should be the name after the marriage especially when the petition is CR1. She should use your family name (husband's name) thru the entire process to avoid delay and problems later on.
Most importantly her passport should be husband's last name.

We have submitted the co-sponsor's pay stubs, tax returns, importantly the current year with W2 to be on the safe side because they will ask for it during the interview. We have also included machine copy of her ID's, like driver's license. These to be submitted with the I-864 and the agreement form to be filled up by the co-sponsor ( you can see it in US Embassy website of your country ) between the petitioner and the co-sponsor.

Based on our own experience, every notifications we received from the NVC via email, we printed out (PDF). That serves as the hardcopy. Nothing was sent to us via US Mail.

The questions you are asked about your relationship will vary from case-to-case. If your case has anything unusual about it, or contains “red flags” that might lead the consular officer to question your motives for marrying or eligibility for a visa, you should be prepared to discuss those.
For instance, if there is a large age difference between you and your fiancé(e) or if your primary languages are different, you will likely be questioned on those details of your relationship. If your fiancé(e) sponsored another person for a green card or a K-1 visa in the past or if you have previously applied for a green card or K-1 visa based on a marriage or engagement to a U.S. citizen, expect to discuss those previous relationships. If you or your fiancé(e) have children from previous relationships, expect to be asked about where they will live and how they will blend into your new family.

In our case it took us around 5 months of processing time after getting the NOA2.
Overall, it took us 11 months for the entire process before finally getting the Visa. One good thing, during my interview, they didn't ask me for any other documents aside from my Original Copy of CENOMAR ( Certificate of No Marriage ) issued by the NSO (National Statistics Office) which was not asked to submit during the NVC process.

Is that the 8 digit number/. If that is so, then it's "Your Beneficiary I.D. Number". Just keep like what Babe18 said, keep it safe. You will need the identification numbers again during the immigration process.
What des this update mean
in IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Process & Procedures

Congratulations! The next email you will get from the NVC is the interview date at the US Embassy which is not very long now. Mine, I received that kind of notification Sept 18, 2013, came in next after that was Oct 2 which had an interview date of Nov 7, 2013. Everything went well after that... Visa on hand Nov 11! Good luck!
