Do you have a letter or email from NVC with the MNL # on it? If yes then you can bring that to SLEC instead of the interview confirmation letter/email.

If you ended up have to do the medication you will be required to do a new medical after the treatment was completed, so really there is no issue with scheduling the interview now, worse case you would have to reschedule.

So i already scheduled my interview (May 8th) though still waiting for earlier slots to open up, would there be a problem if I do my medical third week of March to get it over and done with?

My only worry is that I won't be able to see the other available dates once I book an appointment now.

As of now the only open appointments are May onwards. I am trying to wait for late March or early April slots to open up. I was trying to schedule in interview but everytime i put my receipt number (I paid the visa fee at BPI almost 6 hours ago) and it says

"No valid record can be found for the entered receipt number. Please validate that your receipt number is correct and that you have paid the correct amount for the visa which you are applying for. "

What does this mean?

Also, how many CENOMAR copies do I need? 1 for the interview and 1 for the CFO? Do i need to apply for two copies?

How long is the medical valid? I know it is advised to take it a week or two before the interview date but i want to do it as early as possible (I am a smoker and worry about the sputum test) so incase any abnormalities come up, i have ample time to do medication or whatever further exams are needed.

You should call the NVC again and talk to a tier 2 person in order to find out if your case has been sent to Manila or if you are on administrative processing. If you are on administrative processing, then your case is still at the NVC and you will have to wait for it to leave the NVC before you schedule an interview.

we called yesterday (AGAIN) and the guy who picked up said it is not under AP but isnt sent to the consulate yet since they have only received it the other day. We got 3 different answers from NVC already so im getting really upset, they arent replying to my emails either.

My fiance called again and the guy who answered said that we are not under AP. What's up with the inconsistent answers from nvc!!

I'm in the process of tracking our package that left the NVC a few days ago heading to the embassy already.

Does anyone know if you don't email/call the embassy as soon as they receive it how long it takes to actually hear from them or receive their packet of information in the mail?

Hi everyone. I got my NOA 2 email Feb. 5th and my case was forwarded to NVC on the 13th. I called yesterday and they said they haven't got our case yet. Seriously, what's taking them so long?Knowing im so close to being able to set my interview date is making me so impatient! Any february approvals got theirs yet?
