  1. Hello, They requested the same from me also. My US Tax Transcript clearly states it was foreign income (I lived and worked in Greece for the last few years), I got internally transferred from the Greek office to the Las Vegas office. My 2021 salary clearly passes the poverty line, and also gave them a letter of employment stating my internal transfer and my new salary which is even higher than 2021 and yet got a RFE asking for my W2 forms for 2021. Now we have submitted a letter saying no W2 forms exist in Greece. I'm thinking of uploading my YTD pay also from my current job which is already past the poverty line also. Any tips would help and hoping anybody still separated from their families finish with this torture sooner rather than later.
  2. Thank you for all your responses so far, I have submitted a letter saying that exact already, just shitty you need to wait most likely another 75 days just for them to see one letter.
  3. No, I expected a US Tax Transcript would be enough because my greek salary would be enough, my salary is even higher than my greek one. Its actually the same company also, its just and internal transfer promotion. Anyway ill see what to do and work it out.
  4. Thank you for the reply When I submitted everything, I had a cover letter on my US Transcript saying that exact thing also. Also the US Transcripts says it was foreign based income, which implies no W2s exist. Does a normal letter uploaded in additional documents push us back in line?
  5. Congrats to everybody getting their cases DQd, about time you all get back to your families. I made a thread about this question I have but dropping it here also, since we submitted in April and just had an update. Hi, My spouses case got RFE, the confusion I am having is that I moved back to the USA for work, I started officially work Jan 1st, 2022. So on the AOS needed I used my Greek Salary (which covers the requested the poverty line by alot) to do my US taxes and use that transcript for the AOS as well as a employment letter from my US Employer which shows my salary moving forward which will be even more than my last year salary. What is the confusion is they asked for to submit all my W2 from 2021, in Greece they dont have W2s. I took my Greek Tax Transcript and my accountant in Las Vegas did my 2021 US taxes as a foreign based income. How do I submit W2s when they dont exist. Also in the CEAC all the paperwork has been Accepted now, changed from Submitted (even the AOS). Any help will be appreciated because I have no clue what to do from here. Thanks, S

  7. Hello, Sorry for the delay, so busy with work couldnt find time to check the reply. NVC needs to DQ first from the looks of it. But the emails are pretty going in circles. Embassy has agreed to expedite and waiting for the NVC, NVC has said they have forwarded to the Embassy...going around in circles from the looks of it. And this whole time, my wife is alone in Greece with Multiple Sclerosis and im supporting two houses and bills in two countries on my one wage in the states which is fine but if she relapses during this time I will sue 🙂 Ill push end of week again, im trying to be patient with this also at the same time.
  8. Hello forum, I been lurking in this forum for some time keeping up to date on how processing works and trying to get the best info available through others hardships and processes. I have a question because it has stumped me and I cant understand the next step. Provided all paperwork to the NVC on April 22nd, fees were paid and approved. DS 260 was sent, as well as Financial and Civil paperwork. We requested a expedite from the both the NVC and the US Consulate in Athens, Greece. The US Consulate has approved the expedite (due to medial grounds, my wife has Multiple Sclerosis and is alone in Greece till she joins me in the US.). When the US Consulate approves the expedite what is the usual next step? Thank you for any info anybody provides and I hope whoever is going through this gets back to their families as soon as possible.
