Ahahahaha!
Yeah, no.
I was amazed and pleasantly surprised by how quickly everything went for us. But, I don't feel the need to prove it to an internet stranger. If you choose not to believe, that is your thing. Doesn't change the fact that my fiance and I will be together forever soon.

Took us 73 days from sending the I-129F until interview/approval. He got the visa in his hands within 5 days after that.
It sounds to me like they might be thinking about more than just the K-1 visa process, inluding the adjustment of status after marriage and all that.

Grats!. We just got the email that his visa was being sent to him today. He should have it pretty soon, but he won't coming out here until August (We scheduled the wedding for October to ensure we had plenty of time).

Thanks
I am excited and happy that it happened so smoothly and quickly. This site has been a tremendous help, so thanks to everyone here!

My fiance had his interview today and was approved! Now to focus on getting him over here and planning the wedding.

Yep, we got the same thing. We are just getting all the forms/information together for my fiance to take to the interview.

So last night I received an email from the Sydney consolate with the subject " Appointment Package for Immigrant Visa Applicant - K1 Visa", which included an interview date of April 8 and instructions for everything my fiance needs for the interview. Luckily I had already sent him all the paperwork he needed from me this past weekend. Thus far things have been moving very quickly for us!

NOA1 on 1/31/2014, NOA2 today!
"On February 13, 2014, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I129F PETITION FOR FIANCE(E)."
EEEEE so happy!

Sent the packet in last Saturday, it was delivered on Monday. Got the email today that it had been routed to the California service center. Keeping my fingers crossed that there are no major bumps in the road....

We had our AOS interview yesterday and the interviewer verified information on my husband's application, asked a few questions about our relationship (how/when we met, how many time he had come to the US, etc). It was a rather quick interview and he said he was going to approve us, only the background check was pending (which he said would likely be done that afternoon) and then we should have the GC in about two weeks. We sent the I-129F on Jan 25, 2014, so almost one year to the day. So happy!
