Now I'm super confused - what's the point of the PD, then?
All the other spreadsheets are identical to the one I posted (as I just used copy & paste), and column C lists PD/NOA1 which gives the impression that it *should* be the same date.
-
I listed my Priority Date- 9/6- and this is the date on USCIS status thingy website, too.
My Notice Date is 9/9.
Don't know what's the difference.. but am using my PD.
I think people listed the notice date (which is why I'm getting a lot of requests to change it on the spreadsheet). I can see why the 2 dates can be confusing to some. USCIS is not known for clarity!!
When I pulled the information from Igor's Immigration Timeline on this site, it lists the date entered for the NOA1. I believe everyone should be listing their PD, not the ND.
-
The NOA1 date should actually be the priority date, right?
That's what I thought...
I just looked at my I-797 and saw 2 dates. The first date is the notice date (I think that's when USCIS sent it to me). Then underneath the receipt number is the priority date (which is the date USCIS received the petition).
-
I have a question for all my September filers; on your timelines did you list the NOA1 date as the date you received it? That might explain why all the dates are off....
-
Kaylara, is there an anticipated send date for this letter? USCIS is due to release their new numbers on the 20th, so is that a factor with our timing?
If we wait until after the numbers are released, then we can see what they're claiming to have adjudicated as of December 31, 2013. Depending on that date, it might be helpful if there were some volunteers who have been approved after that 'processing time' date who would be willing to step forward and show that they're not giving accurate numbers. We would clearly need more that one person to volunteer, and someone whose beneficiary is not in the Phillippines, did not do DCF (I think they operate on different processing times, unless I'm mistaken) and did not file for an expedited I-130.
Thoughts?

september transfer will probably start last week on february, i canttttttt waittt sucksssss a lot to be separated
but I'm very positive we will get transfer soon and hopefully CSC or texas, nebraska is way to slow now
I think your assessment is much more realistic! My husband and I were starting to think we wouldn't be together until the end of this year! Now it looks like he might possibly maybe be home in time for our wedding anniversary in August - he says I need to simmer down until we have it in writing, but I can't help myself
I'm really hoping for CSC. I was scrolling through the other spreadsheets and it looks like most are getting approved within 30 days at CSC and TSC. If it doesn't get approved in that 30 day window, it looks like it drags out for at least another 60 days (those are probably the dreaded RFEs).
I hope for an RFE-free September!
-
thank you, hopefully we get a good amount of transfers tomorrow, I think its Mondays and thursday transfer day I'm not sure if it thursday or friday
As of Monday's transfer they were at August 20th. It looks like they're transferring about a week's (business week) worth per transfer day soooooo hopefully they transfer August 21 - 27 tomorrow and get going on September next week!!!
I'm VERY optimistic as you can see!

hey can you change my pd because am sep 3rd i think u put me sep 5th
Oops! It's fixed! Thanks for catching that!!

I would like to turn my comments found here: http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/479585-ir1cr1-backlog-makes-the-ny-times/page-9 into the next letter. I figure we can add any other information that we believe will prove our case. I think the most relevant information is compiled there. I seriously think that we need to refrain from blaming the DACA filers, and instead focus the attention on the inconsistencies between what the USCIS is saying publicly vs. their data. What do you guys think?
I thought your attempted response to the Christian Post was great! It was articulate, accurate and you cited your sources of information. I think it's important to include the screen shots, the letters and responses. If attaching the actual documents makes it appear too lengthy, then adding footnotes with the links to verify our claim will be found.
I agree, the focus should be kept on USCIS doing a poor job. Sticking with the facts and leaving out the politics gives a well reasoned argument. If we throw in politics, that gives USCIS and other critics the perfect opportunity to ignore us and state that we're raving lunatics

3 years is a long time to be apart, there's no denying that. I can also understand the hesitation to bring up such a heavy topic on Skype during a work break (my husband gets irritated as ever when I bring up a serious matter while he's at work)!
Maybe finding a time for the two of you to have a serious heart to heart about where you are individually (how you're hurting, and how she is coping with the distance), where you are as a unit, and where you both want to be will help you both find your way and give you both peace of mind.

I will echo what everyone else has said. I think talking to a professional about how you're feeling. Try NAMI.org, they have a search option available.
And, talk to your wife about your personal struggles. I'm sure she's struggling, too and sharing in your struggles and being there for each other and with each other can make you a stronger team.

You're on the ball!!! Thanks for creating the spreadsheet for us too
can you add me to it: NOA1 09/17/13. Thanks!!!
Thankk Youu !! Can u add me my NOA 1 is 9 Sep .
hello everyone i recently joined vj,was follwing this thread from last month.Kindly add me the spreadsheet my PD is 27th Sept.
Sept transfers are about to start so finger crossed and Good luck everyone
Got you all added in!!

Would someone please be able to clarify something for me? For the August filers that have recently been receiving notifications, are these approvals (NOA2s) or just transfers? If they are transfers, where are the files being transferred and why? Thank you in advance for anyone that can clear this up for me.
They've just been transfers. Transferring from the NBC to the different service centers is USCIS' way of 'balancing the workload'. PFFT

Only a mod can edit that first post now. We'll need someone like Penguin to add September to the list.
I just sent a message asking for the Sept doc to be added to Kaylara's post in that thread!
-
I KNOW!!! I can't believe it! They transferred an August 20th filer today... it's almost surreal!
SHUT THE FRONT DOOR!
Kind of sad we're all so excited about a transfer, though lol BUT with the press breathing down USCIS' neck, maybe we'll see faster approvals and fewer nonsense RFEs!
-
Please add me to the spreadsheet.
My PD is 09/05. Thanks!
Done! We have the same PD
-
Awesome thanks! So these are just the filers that are in the forum or where did you get your database from?
No worries! I'm just excited it's almost our turn!!
I pulled the information from Igor's list Immigration Timeline with Unapproved PDs in September. If people have not updated their timeline, the list did not capture those folks.
I'll check that list periodically and add people to the list, otherwise people can just message me, or comment on this thread. That works, too
-
Hey, thanks a lot for making that! We all appreciate it! Will you be updating it as people start receiving notifications?
It's no problem! It's exciting that it's finally time for some September movement!! And yes, I will update the spreadsheet as soon as people post their notifications of transfer/approval!
-
September spreadsheet is available! I didn't add any fancy colors yet, but as soon as the transfers start, I'll be sure to add those in

I noticed there wasn't a September spreadsheet yet so I took the liberty of creating one. It's locked, so post here (or in the Sept I-130 thread) or send me a message if your name is not on this sheet already and I'll fix it!!
And, if there's something I've missed on this sheet, please let me know. This is my first go on a google doc!!

I'm not too familiar with Google docs, but I can do my best to get a September spreadsheet going!

We need to go off the PDs, because that appears to be the order in which USCIS is transferring cases. I was looking at the other spreadsheets and it appears the PD date is what everyone else is using. I know it might only be a day difference, but once the transfers start, that day will make a difference.
