  1. Just as long as you have your MNL case # you can go ahead pay and schedule your interview and medical and prepare all the necessary papers for the interview.

Although, with the medical, according to SLEC website they require the beneficiary to show the NVC letter, which states your MNL case #, to the security guard before entering their facility. However, I've read from some here that they didn't receive any NVC letter hence nothing to show to the guards. So what they did is that, they printed out a page from the CEAC website showing their MNL case #.

  2. Does your fianceé live around Manila?

Has she tried going to or calling the main NSO office in Quezon city? Maybe they can give a better answer for her.

  3. Wait for the approval first. They should notify you and you will receive a notification and NVC letter containing the MNL case #. It's too early for a medical, it will only be valid for 6 months. It's better to do it close to the interview date. Around 5-7 days before the interview. And besides, your fianceé will need the NVC letter for the medical.

You need the MNL case # for filling out a particular document online that would be needed for the interview.

In the meantime, as you are waiting, I advise you to prepare the necessary documents that your fianceé will be needing. Just google "K1 packet for interview" or something. There's a link here to on VJ. I think it's on "Guides"(?)

You will need some papers that you have to send her. She also needs to accomplish some docs.

    I wish you both well.

    Breath in, breath out. :)

  4. @ Annedaly,

    Yes its for K-1 Visa.

Ok i will go ahead and check it out see.

so just fill it up and thats it? whats next after that?

    thank you :D

Accomplish all the papers on the list(from the link I sent you):

fill out the d-260 form(if I am not mistaken) online then print the first page(don't worry there are instructions) Cenomar,

    nbi clearance,

    birth certificate of the benefeciary,

    passport of the benefeciary,

affidavit of support papers(itr's and w2's for the past 3 years, the filled out 1-34 forms which the petitioner need to sign),

proof of ongoing relationship(photos, skype messages or whatever media you two use, remittance papers, gift receipts, travel records to the philippines...etc)

also bring the copy of 129f packet that you sent(just in case)

I might have missed out some stuff so just please re-check.

Then pay for the MRV fee in BPI or thru Bancnet.

There are instructions of their website. Please just follow that.

Don't forget to keep the original and make a copy of the receipt.

You will need that in the interview.

If you pay before 3 pm, wait for 4 hours the same day before you can schedule.

That's just their protocol. If you pay passed 3, then you can only schedule the next morning.

Sign up/in to the website that I told you, then schedule your interview.

Once you get an interview date, you can now wait to do the medical which is in St. Lukes.

The advisable date for the medical is a week before the interview.

Go to St. Lukes extension clinic website and register online.

This is another filling of forms.

Online registration is good so you dont have to manually input everything there in St Lukes.

They have a website so just check the instructions.

Of course, there will be documents that you need to bring.

Mainly, passpost and the NVC letter. Of course, there are others but just check it there.

You will need to pay around 11,000php(the updated fee is in the website) in St Lukes..

    So:

    Accomplish documents,

    schedule interview,

    Finish medical

    then interview.

I wish you the best for the two of you!

  5. Hello guys,

Ok, I got the mnl case number from the NVC just today on the phone after 30 days of waiting. since i got it, i went to the ceac website and type in my mnl case # and it says READY. my question is, what does she need for her to be able to get an appointment for interview? does she need the letter from the NVC which i didnt get it yet because i was just told that instead of waiting for the NVC letter, i should just call them up and ask for the MNL#. any idea what shell be needing before calling or attending the interview? for sure she has to get check up and thats all i know....

    help....

    thanks,

    Is this for K1?

    Check this site.

    http://photos.state.gov/libraries/manila/325288/packets/K1%20and%20K2%20Interview%20Preparation%20Instructions%20-%20English%20_10%20October%202013_.pdf

This is basically the software version of the packet. It's the list of what you need to accomplish. Although, I'm not sure if it's updated. From what I know, the MRV fee is now $245. In that link, it's still $240.

You need the MRV fee receipt and the case # for scheduling the interview. You will need to sign up to the site, I attached a screenshot of the site post-172856-0-49518200-1437601713_thumb.png. Fill out the needed infos(Ready the passport info, address, phone numbers, mnl case #... etc)

    Try to check it out

  6. From what I know, CGFNS is the one who will take care of everything.
It depends of the state. I'm not sure with MN. What kind of CGFNS are they asking in MN? There is a CVS, CES... etc.

With CES, Credential Evaluation Services, the CGFNS is the one who will contact the school and PRC to ask for whatever documents are needed. What service from CGFNS did you avail?

I applied for CES. They notified me after like 2 months that they already have my transcripts from my school.
They say the whole process takes about an average of 6 months.

  7. Hello and welcome to real life. This has been out for over a week and is on every state department website as well as multiple threads here on the subject. It is a worldwide issue and no visas can be printed, they expect the problem to last at least through next week.

Shouldn't be a problem for you as your timeline states you're still waiting on your noa 2 from 2013 :dancing::dancing:

    It's not updated sir.

  8. As far as I remember from my medical last year...

Medical is actually 2 days - The medical proper with vaccination for the first day then paper works on the 2nd day or medical proper the 1st day then paper works and vaccination the 2nd day. - The lady told me that because I asked why do I have to come back the next day, if I could just wait and get what I needed that day. She says, it's really 2 days.

  9. Thanks for the additional explanation. Now I understand. I was only trying to understand your situation so I offered some additional resources. My bad.

I apologize sir. Please don't feel bad. I shouldve chosen a better word to say. I shouldve said: "I mean..." or something to make it more clear.

You are very helpful. Please keep on helping people like me.

    Carry on. :)

When you get to the embassy and show them your 221g that you received allowing you entry, there will be someone to direct you to window 38 without issue. Relax, they are very helpful at USEM.

    Thanks!

I actually just came from the USEM. It was indeed very easy. Just a few minutes waiting.

  10. Please read this http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/552816-overseas-computer-sytems-experiencing-glitches-affecting-visas/ for a better understanding why you might be waiting longer then usual.

That is a lot of missing documents. If you need additional help see my guide. The link is at the twisting arrow in my signature below.

Sir, with all due respect, you don't understand. My 221g -insufficient income- took awhile before we've accomplished it- almost a year- so they are asking me for NEW cenomar, NEW nbi and RE-medical.

  11. sis what is the reason for 221g. what documents they had asked? why it took you that long ? just asking because im on AP for two months now and im worried ..

NBI, Cenomar and new medical... They asked for sufficient income.

I know how you feel. Dont lose hope. Keep on praying. I hope your approval will come soon.

  12. Anyone had an experience with Windows 38 in Manila Embassy?

I need to get my passport because they've asked me to have a re-medical. It has expired because our 221g took a while.

So, I need to get my passport for my medical. But the thing is, I don't know what to expect, what to do or where to go regarding Windows 38.

And also, is there a help desk in USEM?

    Thanks for sharing/answering.

  13. After our 221(g), we are asked to have an interview again.

    2. You need to schedule an appointment for another interview, and bring with you the document(s) marked below. Present this letter at the Consular Ticket Booth on the day of your scheduled appointment.

Along with the documents, I need to have a re-medical as well. I guess, its because it took almost a year before we completed our 221(g).

My question is, has anyone experienced a re-interview?
    How does it go?
Do I have to pay for the appointment again?

  14. I was interviewed last year and we were given a 221(g). The reason for that is we need more income.

The thing is, my fiance had been in an accident when he was young. I met him in the Philippines. He was living in the Philippines for 5 years already when I met him. He is now back in the US for medical reasons. He's currently only on social security, which is big enough if you live in the Philippines. However, it wasnt able to suffice for the K1 visa- income requirement. Long story short, we were given a 221(g). Since my fiance cant work because he is considered disabled, theres no way around but a co-sponsor. So we opted/took our chance for a co-sponsor. We passed the documents as 221(g). Along with some letters and all that.

After 21 days under Administrative Processing, I received an email and this is what it says:

  16. Hello everybody! I am worried. We sent our RFE back to the CSC (via regular mail) last Feb 5th and until now there's still no status change on the website. We already realized that we should've have sent it via registered mail. Please help. Does anyone experiences the same?

  17. Hello! We sent our RFE back to CSC last Feb. 5th and until now our status change is still on "Request for Evidence". My fiance did not submit it via registered mail which worries us more. We already realized how important it was to send it registered so please don't tell anymore. :(
My question is there any chance that it got lost? or maybe they haven't touch it yet?
We call them up already and said that they haven't received it?
We are planning to submit a copy tomorrow and this time registered and fast.

It's already March 2 and I am still hoping that they already received it.
Please tell us what should we do. Thanks!

  18. he can use his insurance payments and SS, just needs statements from both, no problem

For S.S. that can be retrieved from their website. For the insurance company I would bet he got a statement from them already at some point.

    Thank you!

    I will tell that. :)

    God bless you!
