Same here, we've applied under 319 (b) which is based on the USC spouse employment abroad. We're currently overseas too, but applied online few days prior leaving the US. I did my walk-in biometrics before we left. My status is: we've reviewed your biometrics, you don't have to do anything at this time. Estimated completion date is January 2020.

ah ok...just for sure this days you will get interview notice by email from Washington and they will asked you to chose the dates for interview.

I filed online on June 1 and chose to interview at Fairfax VA, but my field office is Orlando FL. I probably had to mail it too to get it to Washington DC. Also, I still haven't removed my conditions and will be applying for ROC soon, but this may delay the whole process for me.

I'm filing from overseas...we are currently outside of the United States.  I'm applied 319b for USC spouse regularly employed abroad and about you?

You can change your field office to Washington DC... Your biometric done? what is status of your case now if you don't mind

I applied under 319(b) as well but mine says estimated completion time is 6 month. Are you a conditional resident?

I filed by mail not online...I'm permanent resident 10 years but I got my green card 2017...What is your field office? Mine I choose Washington DC because they are more familiar with 319b.

    When did you file?

Good luck and if you have any questions let me know

Two US passport sized photos, with name and A number written on the back.

Maybe it was the photo actually are missing and triggered the generic RFE?

Let me know how it goes, I'm curious. Thanks!

OK. I will. Just sent 3 sets FBI FD 258 cards and 2 passport size photos. Hopefully they will I accept it.

Yes I did, I already sent photos with my N-400 package.

    Hmm

Strange. I could only think of

    - The letter was generic

The cards were not good enough (not clear, no signatures, no seal, etc)

    - The issuing body was not appropriate (I'm not sure military contractor would be considered as military personnel or USC employed abroad. My husband is a US private company employee working aboard, so we used the embassy route to get fingerprinted)

Either way, I would suggest call military hotline or USCIS (request for T2 officer) to find out. Or simply get another two cards and send again.

Yes I will get another one in US military base. What size of photo? And how many?

  6. 7 minutes ago, Qian said:

    Is this the original wording?

When I received the RFE regarding fingerprint cards, there were actual cards and an envelope enclosed. Also, the RFE asked for 2 photos again, which I have sent.   Did you get those?

Otherwise, maybe call the military hotline?

No I didn’t received FBI card. Please check letter I uploaded it. I’m applying 319 b spouse regularly working abroad. I think I message you in your fb

    Not true exactly.

If OP is applying from overseas (military?) Then for RoC and N400 its allowed to send in biometric cards done on military posts.  I assume that's what OP did? Did you include biometric fee in the packet?

I'd say maybe call USCIS and explain the situation.

Edit. Was it generic looking letter? Or did it have actually scheduled interview ?

Yes I sent $725 by money order. I include FBI FD 258 card finger done in US Military base in Kuwait. The letter said, didn’t receive No form of FBI  card on the N-400 application

I don't think we can apply online if filing from overseas. It's on USCIS site- "where to file" section. I sent my package by mail, which I think it was better anyway, because it's easier to put a lot of supporting documents.

Letter of Intention is no more than expressing/stating your intention, but better accompanied with supporting documents. i.e. if you have joint saving accounts or property in the States, that can show your intention of moving back to the States after the assignment. If nothing else, your statement should work too, if the "qualifying employment" case can be established- which I believe it's the critical part of 319B.

    Best of luck!

Hi thanks for reply, I sent already thru online yesterday.. finger crossed hope it works.

    Thank you again

I am just looking into this, too. We cannot pay/file online. This is what the website says:

Seems the closest thing to paying online is sending your credit card authorisation. I will do that to get cash back, lol. :D

    lol...ok

Yes you can file the N400 online if you are eligible---see the link below.  Payment is done by credit card.

Hello.. I hope someone can answer me here.  I am living with my US Citizen spouse in Kuwait. I received my green card recently and plan to apply for Expedited Naturalization 319B. I hope anyone here from Kuwait had experienced the same case as me. I just started with my research on Expedited Naturalization 319B, I just have one question, where can  I complete my  biometrics/fingerprint  card FD-258.

    Thank you for the reply.

Hi Ara, I'm starting processing my 319b too, can you tell me what are the papers need to submit in USCIS?  Thank you and Best Regards.

So I am petitioning Filipina wife in Kuwait (where we live), but the steps are the same as if we were in Pinas. Right now we are at the NVC stage, preparing to submit our packet.

My question is, my wife received an NBI clearance and had it red ribboned. I cannot photocopy it because of the authentication coversheet with the red ribbon.

So would it be alright to submit a photocopy of the "Personal Copy" to the NVC? Or do they require the original? I know in the past they required originals but now their instructions state to only send photocopies. I don't want to get an RFE because I submitted the wrong NBI certificate -- has anyone else experienced this recently?

    Thanks!

Just copy on only, My NBI no red ribbon at all, The NVC and Kuwait Embassy accept my NBI with no ribbon. During interview they need only the original NBI even no red ribbon.

  12. We are same, you will start all over again by sending I-130 form...I been in US via K1 visa two years ago, got married in US and returned to home country. I applied IR1 last year then I got my visa last month. Overall processing for me is 8 months. On the interview, the consular asked me, "Why comeback to Kuwait? Why I didn't apply AOS? Good luck to you.

Once you arrive in the USA, you should get the green card in about 6 weeks. Why are you so concerned about leaving the USA so soon after you arrive? You've applied for and been approved to be a long term permanent resident. That means making your life in the USA. I wouldn't worry about emergency travel during a 6 week period. I would be more focused on adjusting to life in the USA.

You can use the endorsed immigrant visa in your passport as proof of your permanent resident status until you receive your actual green card.

    Thank you 😊
