  1. My husband did not attend the interview. He had no way to take time off work and we weren't "worried" I guess about being real since we've already been through so much of the process. I guess that was dumb of us..

Originally I had sent our marriage cert and Apartment lease. The officer said this was not enough information.

    He requested:
    tax forms
our car lease and insurance information
a letter from both of our jobs stating we are each others emergency contact

I faxed everything by lunch time the very next day. I still haven't heard anything and my online case has not been updated.

  2. Hi all.  I had my Interview for naturalization on August 20th. I passed the civics and english test but my immigration officer told me he can't make a decision at this time, he needed more information on our relationship. We've been living together in the US for 5 years and married for 7. I faxed all of the information requested the very next day but my online case has not been updated since. Has anyone has a problem like this? I was hoping to go back to Ireland for 2 weeks for Christmas but now I don't know what to do.

  3. You have any medical issue at present… I am not talking communicable but something that need attention. I think someone posted on the other thread recently. After taking TB test shot their 7 year old kid was tested positive but the chest x-ray cleared him. At POE officer requested her to take the child nearest hospital within 30 days and report to someone. They just want to the kid to get medical attention.

The only thing I can think of is that I have regular ear check ups from a problem as a child. I brought a letter from my doctor stating there was no infection/disease and it wasn't communicable. Thanks anyway.

  4. Awww thank you for visiting sweet heart what a sweet thoughtful thing to do. Nothing new yet but have 12 days to complete the 60 day penalty phase. :D God willing many will get CC's this and next week. Insha'Allah How are you doing? t5063.gif

I can't belive you are still waiting!! So ridiculous :( We are doing fine, booking our flights soon and will hopefully be back in the states for January because flights right now are just crazy prices with the holidays and everything! :)

    Hope you're doing ok <3

  5. Congratulations teacup so happy for you. I am glad everything went smooth I hope mine does too.

Thank you so much! I hope your interview goes fine, good luck!!!

Hi guys I created an account with uscis ellis however in order to pay the immigrant fee it is asking for A number and Dos number. I don't have aany of those.

I also had this problem, I'm waiting to receive my visa to see if they give me the info.

  6. Review Topic: General Review

    Had my interview today (December 8th 2014 @ 1PM)

Arrive around 12:20pm with my husband (The USC) was told to leave and come back at 12:50pm, we went across to the cafe called (Embassy Grill) had a coffee and then went back to the Embassy.

We were asked who was being interviewed, what type of Visa and then proceeded trough the airport style security. I had a minimal amount of things in my purse which included earphones, they took my keys, phone, earphones and lip balm and put them in a small locker and gave me the key. They allowed me to keep my purse with me and my folder of documents.

Was sent up a ramp to the building itself and was greeted by a very nice security officer, he asked again what visa type, immigrant or non-immigrant, we went sent to the immigrant waiting side. There were only 2 other people waiting so it went fairly quick. Got called up to the first window after waiting 10 minutes or so, asked for my medical results, passport and passport pics. Asked me if I had registered with the courier service and handed me back my X-ray results and told me to keep them on hand at all times through the airport when going through my POE. Guy we dealt with was very nice and happy. Was sent to sit down again and waited another 20-30 mins. Got called again to another window to a different guy who was also lovely to deal with. He looked through my documents and had all the original stuff I had sent to USCIS/NVC and made casual conversation to my husband about food being better in America and spoke about how he missed real deep dish Chicago pizza!lol

    He then proceeded to ask:

*Why we want to move to the USA
*What my husband plans to do for work in America
*What I plan to work as
    *What our current jobs are
    *Who our joint sponsor was

It was all done in a very casual manner and the guy was a pleasure to deal with.
We were given back the original photographs I sent in with our I-130 which was a real surprise!

We were there for about an hour in total. Very professional place and wonderful staff!

  7. Congrats!!!!!

CEAC just updated to ISSUED!!!!!! :dancing::wow::wow: Interveiw was on Friday.

Mine was today and still shows ready but updated today so hopefully it'll show issued tomorrow because that's what the officer said! lol

WORST DAY OF MY LIFE --- i was issued a 221 (g) after my immigrant visa interview. they want more additional processing on me…from MONTREAL CONSULATE>…. and its NOT BECAUSE OF my marriage or validity of it. Its because I have a PhD in sciences. YEAH….apparently I am too educated to be in the USA. funny i got my education there.:angry::girlwerewolf2xn::alien::wacko::o so more additional processing….strange…i have been going to the USA 15 times….in the last year…they never needed to do it then…and suddenly now they do.

it can be anywhere from 2 weeks to 1 year. YES!!! so i am giving up on going there. All i can do is get my spouse here. i submitted the paperwork they wanted from me but i don't have any hope it will work at all. i have seen how much time they can make you wait…this is truly disgusting.:cry::cry:

    :dead:

OMG!!!! I'm so sorry to hear that :(:(:( Hope it works out for you soon!!

    Congrats!!!!

Congratulations That's great news. Had no doubts. Come on You are THE Teacup. Hmmmm no naked. Dang. Okay. :goofy:

    Thank you both!!!! :D

  8. APPROVED!!!! :dancing::dance::jest:

Interview went fine, didn't ask many questions at all and didn't ask me for any other documents. (Interviewer spoke mostly to my husband (USC) about how he misses American food! lol

Going to write my full review now and I'll post in here later! :)

You will be just fine. Come on. It;s Ireland. Nice people. I am sure you are already gone. But may I suggest just going naked as a baby. Report back okay. :secret:

I just saw this, and no, no naked as a baby!! .. Hahaha

  9. Good luck Teacup. You will do great. Just be smart in clothes. I don't think they really focu on that. This is coming from the girl who bought a new blouse for the occasion!!!!!

Can't wait to hear the good news that you have been approved.

    Xx

    Thank you!!

Hubby is going to wear slacks and a shirt, not a whole suit, seeing as it's me who will be interviewed.

I have 2 sets picked out, some leggings, boots and a nice blouse OR a casual dress with tights and casual flats.

    DECISIONS!!! lol

Visa Journey will be the first place I come if we get the good news! :P

  10. My two cents worth--- don't get into the hassle of getting a new police certificate. I think you need to give them only what they NEED and ASK. Anything more, especially civil docs will just further cause more questions. Like you said a Police Clearence certificate is not even necessary so why even bother. Ultimately its your choice...

you will be done before i am on the interview…mine is Dec 8 too but you are nearly 10-12 hours ahead of me. I think Teacup is also on Dec 8 from ireland and is 6-8 hours ahead of me. I am sure i will hear the good news… …. for all three of us..ALL APPROVED AND NO AP. :star::goofy::goofy::goofy:

My interview is at 1pm on Monday/8th So, hopefully I'll be posting good news as you are getting ready for your interview!
