Sweetswinks is right.. A lot of us have yet to hear anything and probably have months to go. 50% of October filers having dates definitely does not cover those of us adjusting from K1. I know that the Dallas office is a 6-8 month process so I do not plan to hear anything until at least April((

If I'm an aos applicant why would I look up i129f? I entered the country on a k1 visa already. The only thing I need to look at is the processing times for i485. K1 applicants do not file with an aos at the same time.... It's separate.
I'm just trying to point out that when you said 50% of October filers had their interview dates already, that was not accurate. That percentage only applies to those filing i130 & i485 together so I don't want anyone adjusting status from a k1 visa to get their hopes up because in reality they're going to be waiting a lot longer

They have 90 days from the date they received your file to approve your ead so you're like me. We have until about January 21st((

It took several of us 3-4 weeks before we heard anything. Just hang tight until 30 days then call them. I'm sure you will hear something soon, it seems to take them a long time to send out NOA1 notifications.

I wasn't sure if Elena's Models was an IMBRA or not and got lots of conflicting answers. To figure it out I simply emailed EM and asked them if they are IMBRA. I got an email back saying that they are not IMBRA and do not follow IMBRA laws. I printed this out and put it in our packet and we never heard a peep about it after that.

What i don't understand is how they pick and choose processing orders for certain files, is it divided up by country or region? I saw someone who sent their file in the same day as me but they already received an update and I am still waiting.
I just want to know my file is there and safe ready to go because it took a lot of time to get all the stuff together!!!((

I haven't been waiting nearly as long as you guys but Chicago received my AOS package on 10/23 and they still haven't cashed the check or sent me a notification.

Just hang in there guys. You will all be approved in time, i promise. I know it is hard to sit and wait and check the forums and the uscis website everyday but just try to keep yourself busy and one day you will be pleasantly surprised!

Unfortunately you kind of have to go into this and through it with an "I don't give a f*** what anyone thinks" attitude.
Most of the time people are kind to my face about it and congratulate me or wish me "luck" in a condescending way. Maybe some of them are genuine but who knows.
My own brother has made it very clear that he thinks I am crazy to marry someone from another country, let alone Russia. My whole family has been pretty unsupportive of it, my mother shows flashes occasionally but not very often. I am hoping that they will change once they meet Diana and see how wonderful she is, but it is a bit frustrating that my own family cant trust that I would pick a good respectable person to marry.
I have had a few people that i would call borderline friends, make some sly comments. Let's just say I don't speak to them anymore.
Bottom line is you just have to not care what anyone thinks, you know what you know and are making these life decisions based on what is best for you. Like what was said earlier, a lot of people are jealous that you are making an adventure out of life by marrying someone from another part of the world. Our relationships will always have that extra curiosity and interest to them that most others will not.

Yeah go to their websites and look for the authorization forms that they need signed so they can work on your case. Usually they want these faxed to them but some offices will let you scan and email them.
I had to stay on top of John Cornyn and Ted Cruz of Texas.. I called them and made sure they got my information, my signed authorizations, if they had started on my case etc.
By the end of it they wanted to get me approved just so I would stop calling them probably. I also wrote in my letters to them about what they stood for and upcoming elections and how i am an avid voter etc.
After waiting 5 or 6 months everyone should have the right to be approved.. I just want to see you guys get what you deserve. I waited almost 6 months and I am starting to feel pretty lucky i only had to wait that long.
