I've sent my fiance paperwork for the interview. She telling her friends that were interviewed were asked for a "my" Birth Certificate? Can anyone shed any light on this subject?

I paid $340. Did you use military discount?
So you asking the question, I think I found the answer.
The 340 is the petition fee.
The 265 is the interview fee.
-
Sorry, I looked at my check book duplicate checks. I had to re-verify, but look at my back statement. I paid $340.
So the 265 is a different fee?
-
So I paid $225 when I filed my i-129f. Now the consulate is asking for my fiancee to pay $265? Is this a different fee or the same one? I'm just confused.

I am trying to pay for my Fiancee's visa fee at the Consulate website in Hong Kong. It doesn't give me the option to pay online, my fiancee has to print something out and pay at a 7/11. The fee is expensive, and I'd rather pay for it.
Is paying at a 7/11 the only way?

How do I found out who at the embassy I need to contact to find out if they recived the k-1 paperwork? I looked on the website, and the number I called for the Hong Kong embassy was state side and in my time, (not where my finace lives or her time). I really feel the people i talked to where not the correct people, even though they claimed to be.
How do I find out exactly who do I call and make sure everything is going correctly?

The I-129F was approved and on it's way to the Hong Kong Embassy. My finance has moved since the K-1 process was started. I called the Embassy number listed on the webstie which is state side, and in eastern time. The embassy person I talked too created her an embassy online protal profile thing (and couldn't explain why that was nessecary), and forward the issue about the address update. I really had no if who I talked to understood my issue, with updating an address.
Today, my finance got an email from them, saying case close, They have a public response section talking about passports, but they had nothing to do with updating her address. Nothing in the email says anything about what I oringal asked, and says go to the onlie profile which does not provide any additional information.
Should I just wait to see if the Embassy sends my fiance whatever it is suppose to send to her?

I already received the NOA2 and I will be calling the embassy next week. My fiancee is changing apartments where she lives. Who am I suppose to notify of her address change?
-Thanks

Thanks for the help. Now that I know the name, I've already found links. Thanks again.

My Filipino fiance heard, from a friend, that she was asked for a singleness document or something. I check the US Embassy in Hong Kong, and they have nothing about a singleness document, or what it even is.

She will definetly need that during embassy stage for her interview..where's she worked before?go and checked your consulate review and you will find the things you want to know..
Where is this consulate review that contains the information I need to know?
-
she needs to obtain police clearance in every country she lived before,6 months onwards..she will need that for interview..depends on what country she used to work before..if she worked in Middle east some country there doesnt issue police clearance if the person is already out of their country.
Where is this information? The guide I'm reading doesn't have anything like that, well the two things I'm reading. The only thing reference criminal stuff was the I-129F I filled out.
-Thanks.

My Fiancée has been reading on the net and talking to friends that recieved their k-1s, and she is asking me questions about the police clearance. All I know, is she needs a medical after the I-129F gets approved. Can anyone shed some light on that? And that she needs two because she works in another country.
-Thanks

Thanks! Been stressed and reading things that aren't there. I just need copies. I've scanned everything, already so I'm ready to mail it. Thanks again!
-
The instruction say make two notarize copies. My question is: Do I just get notarize copies of the I-129f and G-325a and their attachments? I can't get notarize copies of photos, and most of the supporting evidence are print out of files.
-Thanks

Thanks! That is good. I didn't want to be forgetting anything.

I am assembling my K-1 package right now. And I just notice, I was expecting something on how much money I make. Is that asked later, or not applicable in this case?
-Thanks
-
I did not think there would be a problem. It's just not what I expected, I just don't want to surprise the person processing my K-1 visa..
-
I visited my now fiancee. The port of entry for the two places I visited, did not stamp my passport. They gave me just a little square slip of paper as my stamp. I had to keep in it my passport at all times.
I am preparing my K-1 package. Do I need to include any special notes in my package because I do not have the stamps in the passport? Or is this a common enough practice the case worker will recognize it with no problem.
-Thanks

I'm putting together paperwork for a K-1 visa. And I have some questions about the G325A.
1) If I include an attachment for the G325A, does it need to be signed and dated also?
2) Can I include all information in one attachment for the G325A or does each question needs it own attachment?
3) What is the proper way to deal with non-US address formats? For instance, the G325A asks for a street name and number for residences. One of her address literally doesn't contain a street name or number (village-province-state format). I've read the USCIS is aware of non-US formats, but I don't want the case worker to think I was lazy and used incomplete addresses.
-Thanks

So what I have read, I need to submit copies of my passport and my stamps. They did not stamp my passport, they gave me small slips of paper. Will submitting copies of those cause problems? I only ask because it seem new/different, and when that happens someone is always confused.

Thanks, this is just a signal option I am considering. I want to make sure its viable, in the first place. My friend who has done this already, is a little paranoid. I thought the place of meeting didn't matter but had to make sure.
thanks again.

Hi-
I was originally meeting my fiance in Cebu for a couple weeks, to meet her family and her in person. However, she took a job in Macau to help pay for her siblings school, it pays about 4 times what she'd make in Cebu. Her new job is great, but turns out they don't give much time off.
Does this complicate things if I meet her in person in Macau instead of Cebu? From what friends told me, meeting family is important.
I just want to make sure after I come back, I'll have no problems with the k-1 visa.
-Thanks.

Hello there. I am also a DH here in HK from Philippines. We are on the process of gathering documents for our I-129F application. My Fiance will soon file his petition for me maybe mid of December and i decided to have my interview here in USEM HK.
Good Luck!
Thanks that sounds good! I'll have to look, to see if the mailing address is the same as the resident address has to be the same. Her employers can get to her mail (don't understand why or how), and they like to snoop around.
To everyone:
Thanks. She's a legal DH in HK that started a new 2 year term contract. The reason, wanted specific information about this subject, is because it's dealing with a bureaucracy. I'd like things to go as smoothly as possible.

Thanks. It was hong kong. It was the Hong Kong Embassy. Also, i doubt she's misunderstanding her friends. Though, I may have been the only petitioner among her friends that knows what he is doing. I told her I"m not sending it. The affidavette of support have plenty of ID information in it, plus I did sumbit one with the orginal i-129F.
I'll have to fix the timelie, I didn't realize it wasn't showing.
