  1. I was reading the thread and noticed that the passport pictures were questionable.

I've only sent in 2 Passport Photos for the WHOLE 3 Applications and the outcome of my wife's case status showed that I-485 was being processed at the Nebraska Center and the I-131 & I-765 did not have a location on where it is being handled but was under initial review. Could this be a bad thing? Thanks!

Update: I've read other threads (http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/475818-sent-only-one-set-of-passport-photos-with-aoseadap/)%C2'>

The location of the CITIC bank was Foshan, China which is literally 45 minutes away from Guangzhou. Since the distance between the two cities were close, the time it takes for the visa in hand would obviously be less. I don't know if you've noticed that there are "Expedited Pick-up Location" that as soon as they receive it from the embassy/consulate, it is available for the same-day location pick -up. If not, most of the VJers claim it to be within 2 weeks time. Hope this is helpful. Thanks!

  3. There are some countries that allow dual citizenship. I checked the USCIS website but the dual citizenship link was broken. I have included an alternate link: http://www.***removed***/citizenship/dual-citizenship-recognize-countries.html

I know in China, once you become a USC you must renounce your citizenship in China. I think Canada is one of the exceptions as noted on their website. Thanks.

  4. Hello phem0r,

First of all congratulations on your approval of your petition and yes, that is your NOA2 which the I-129F is valid for 4 months. You still have not completed the entire K1 Visa process. The next step you are waiting for is the National Visa Center processing. Once you I-129F petition is received by NVC, it is then sent out to the US Consulate/Embassy in UK. From there, you will continue the final steps of the visa processing notably Packet 3, 4, medical examination and the visa interview at the Embassy. The four months is the time frame that you and the Embassy/Consulate have to complete the final process of the K-1 Visa issuance. If you (or the embassy) exceeds this time, then you would need to file for a visa extension. Time is somewhat of the essence. Once the visa is issued onto the passport, then the 6 months start (from the day of issuance). I can only provide you with information up to this point as my K-1 Visa was done in China. Hope other VJers can help you there. Thanks!

  5. Hello glittersam,

I think you should fill out your timeline as you don't have one. From your question, it is hard to say which country you have applied for. But the next process is waiting for the packet to be sent out from NVC to the US Consulate or Embassy to which your fiance/e is located. Thanks!
