Hello, after my interview on Feb 21, the co said everything is ok but told me they are yet to receive my medical and I was given a paper to translate and return it back with my passport. she also said that they will issue my visa as soon as they receive the documents.

On Feb 22, being a day after my interview, my case was updated. Could it be they are processing my visa already without having my passport because I am yet to send it? What could be happening?

You're always welcome to write to the embassy via email and request for an update on your case....... Wishing u all the best. Cheers

Points were we did not communicate enough, I gave them hundreds of chat logs,  his English wasn't good how did we communicate,  lol to me petty things,  I Sent them the history of more than 70,000 Skype video chats,  we don't write we talk,  more than 40,000 fb history chats and video msg,  more than 3,000 text msg all this for six months,  but we don't communicate,  so I don't know what the problem is,  I sent everything but ripped my heart out,  I think cuz I raised Cain at the local office,  because of an earlier mistake that they finally admitted to,  I pray we approved

You will be fine this time and I pray you and your hubby will be together soon..... I feel for you bcos I understand what your going through. Continue to be strong victory is urs

    ......

  3. I feel for you dear..... Don't ever give up. what I don't really know is the best root to follow on this matter at the moment. Not sure if is best to go ahead and file for an appeal using form EOIR-29 not really sure how long it will take to get finalized or if is better to file for a new I-130 petition and address their reasons. Others out here will help out I believe. Cheers.....

It took 5 months two weeks for our answer to our noir, and we got a revocation, they claimed there's no communication between us lol, I gave them proof but the yr wasn't posted on chat history and I can't go but one yr back, so Thursday I see a lawyer, I have 33 days to send appeal , at least it's like another chance

  4. Congratulations Dmh59.... USCIS will reaffirmed ur case once what they want gets to them.... Before we got our first approval, UCSIS TSC requested for my wife divorce paper and two weeks after she sent it to them our case was approved..... Good luck Buddy

So here's my update. On Saturday, I got the 2nd NOIR and all they want is my divorce decree from my first marriage which has been sent today to the attorney and he will send in ASAP. My attorney says, he believes that's the only thing standing in the way of our reaffirmation :) He said if they had other issues, they would have stated them in the NOIR and that's the only thing they requested!!!! Yippee .... still praying

  5. Greetings to everyone...... I want to encourage ya all who are still waiting for USCIS on NOIR to hold onto ur faith and trust in God Almighty. Don't ever give up. Reaffirming of all ya cases is on its way. One thing I understand with USCIS is that cases are different. My wife received our NOIR on September 13 and we sent out our rebuttal on on September 30th and uscis received it on October 4th on October 24th our case was reaffirmed and returned to DOS. We re now waiting for NVC to return it to the embassy... I know a lot of people who be been waiting for some months now I bring u good news soon you will hear a good news from USCIS... Thank God for Skype at list we see each other everyday it helps a lot on this long waiting game.... 18months from when uscis got our case from the embassy to when it was reaffirmed. is been a long journey.... Cheers...

Debbie Dear, am owning u a lot thanks for ya support.....

  6. Be courageous bro,..... I feel for u bcos I understand what ur going through and also how u feel. As soon as u got the letter I believe you can take it from there. I know you will have the opportunity to file again..... All the best. Cheers

shared finance, shared insurance, morgage or lease residence shared, gift sent, joint account, and two testifier of our wedding .. i sent almost everything. i am waiting for the letter of denial they sent.

  7. i just waited my 180 days like they told me and nothing not NOIR or reaffirmed i feel like crying, I don't have a passport from Cuba to go visit him and when I re-apply they told me that is taking 6 months to receive it. it looks like everything that we try to do is failing apart. call again today and put a ticket and they said that i need to wait until August 27 for a response.:cry::cry:

So sorry I understand how you feel.... Is so sad we have to go through this hard time with uscis. Today is exertly 16months since TSC received our case and till today we ve not heard anything from them.... So don't cry for crying will not solve anything and don't lose faith either keep ur faith strong hopefully everything will be over soon. Thank God for Skype atlist my wife and I communicate through skpye.... Cheers

  9. gtrimino, Infact I'm confused and disturbed about the whole issue. My case is still on "Administrative Processing" since Nov. 30, 2015, three updates already but no changes in the context, It still says:"............The process takes several weeks, and if we need something we will contact you....etc"

I hope this will help it is my own experience and story with my local embassy and uscis so, read till the end....

    http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/567428-i-got-this-221g-eight-months-ago-from-lagos/

My kind advice for you is to take your mind off the case processing issue and keep your self very busy .... As for my own very self putting down this note, I've come to love the slow process system of Embassy and USCIS it makes me and my wife feel stronger each passing day. My second advice! Contact your Senator and congressperson they will help you contact your local emassey and make inquiring on your behalf regarding your case if your case is still with the embassy it need to get to USCIS as soon as possible so you too can start counting your own 180 days who knows USCIS might answer you before the 180 days it happens to a friend of mine so the same thing might happen to your own case because cases are different.... Again, go through this site very well you will see lots of other people from your country that goes or going through the same thing as you so you can learn from them too. I wish you all the very best....

  10. Oh Dear, I don't know what to say am short of word's OMG..... This is unbelievable. I understand your pain and sadness but don't worry everything will be fine... Is not gonna take forever. Their just testing ya faith. Don't give up and don't stop trusting in God Almighty. God will surely work it out for u.... I will be praying for you.

Well not all roses and sunshine.

AP because the mofo system the CO says wasn't not giving her the information she needed. And they need more time.

They just touched our case for the first time yesterday.

So not thrilled but remain optimistic. The usual give us 60 days BS was given.

    So wait we must.

  11. Can anyone tell me how long this can take.....

  14. Our case is still being reviewed by USIS. They received it 2/10/2015 and still haven't heard anything. We have practically just moved on with our lives and im preparing to leave the states.Â

My self and my wife we are patently waiting to hear from USCIS. I hope and pray it will come soon. So, Monalisa you and ur hubby should never give up. Soon this journey will come to an end. Cheers everyone.

  15. Thanks to each an everyone of you out there that contributed to my post.... I appreciate it a lot. At list, am beginning to learn more wish I knew all of this before. Nevertheless, is never too late I believe and as soon as USCIS reach out to us, I will definitely return on here so you guys will put me through on how to go about it..... Thanks to ya all nonce again.

  16. Â

If you did not front load then the decision is often made already before the interview.

Keep collecting various means that you communicate with, skype, chats, apps, phone logs, another visit because face time is most important.

If you own land or property together submit the papers for it. Petitioner can take out a cheap life insurance and designate beneficiary,

there are several things you can do to generate evidence of a bona fide relationship. Think what you can co mingle while living apart.

It is important to front and side load for Lagos.

    Â

Ebunoluwa, thanks alot we've started gardening more evidence. Hope and pray USCIS will get back to us soon.

  17. you where denied based on some information u did not provide right.same thing happend to me back then in 2013 because i did not present additional evidence during the interview, and it took them a year to send me letter of NOIR (Notice of Intent to revoke) or NOID (Notice of Action to Deny).so when i received the letter dwheels really helped me on how to go about.so all you need to do is wait and go true your 221G letter to find what is missing.

Thanks ADMPRO.... My wife and I are working much harder getting some evidence especially call logs I was unable to come up with one during my interview I believe the CO will be wondering if my wife and I don't talk on phone for 4 years relationship. This time am getting our Skype screen shots together I hope it will help to prove we do talk on phone. I pray soon all of this will come to an end

  18. My husband had his interview 10/4/2014.. We have a 21 month old son. My husband was given a 221G letter and petition was sent back to USCIS 12/19/2014..USCIS received it 2/10/2015. Its 9/24/2015 and we still have not heard from USIS. The Senator involved in my case says Ghana consular believes our marriage is a sham. Dont know why USCIS approving cases if cases are just going to be returned back to USIS. To be honest me and my husband is making plans to live elsewhere.Â

Mona, thanks for ur input it helps a lot. Is so hurt going through this long immigration process. Pls, I want to advice don't ever give up let's continue to pray, hope and trust in God for the best.... Thanks once again for making out time to contribute I appreciate
