i have been on this thread from last 3 months and want to thank you everyone and especially to Saylin for her great work without this thread i would never be able to get this much information. Today i got case completed without any checklist with iv scan date of September 8. Good luck to everyone waiting for cc hope everyone get it soon Inshallah.

Dec 2nd!!?? That's one of the earliest dates you can get!

Yes msc. Me and soloenta have to get out of this ASAP. I have gotten so emotional lately. I just start crying all of a sudden and can't take it. We have been through hell really. Hopefully it will be just over now. If I get another checklist I don't know what I will be do. I want case complete now

Now I need the tears of happiness to stop. I have no idea how this transpired. Perhaps it was due to mine and my husband's phone calls to NVC and the Supervisor's this week. I guess it shows that it can pay off to persevere.

Our only hope now is that all of our VJ friends also get a CC soon and can be back with their loved ones as soon as possible.

Fingers crossed for the second round of Dec interviews if you don't make the first round.

I used to think the cut-off day for the second round of interviews was the 15th.

Since I got my CC on Sept 16th, I thought I missed the second round of Oct interviews by 1 day.

It turned out that the cut-off day was the 9th so I missed it by 7 days!

IV scan date 23 august. Nothing yet. This is so disheartening.

Did u call them? Even ur 60 days waiting is over. Call them and talk to a supervisor.

They started scheduling interview for dec. God I hope I don't miss dec interview just by a couple days!!!

Yes Anuspras I just saw it! Excited but nervous at the same time. I m praying not to get another checklist. I m just scared of one thing. In my husband's trancrupt it says that he lives with his family but he had no dependent so I followed saylin's advice and asked to put household size of two, me and him. But I noticed a few days back somebody posted on that thread that Nvc told them to include everybody in household size whether or not dependent. So really scared about it. I can't deal with any other checklist. Hope they just give me a cc now!

Hello guys, wish best processing for all of VJ participants. My scan date is September 3, it is 56th waiting day since i received letter from nvc.So what do you think guys for what time do i have to expect to get CC? Tired of VISA PROCESSING (First papers i send October 21 2013 sucks man! )

I sent AOS and IV packages through one envelope inside separate envelopes. So both packages they received same time!

I was reading previous pages among little time i had free from work and i noticed people saying it is super close and want to know if it seems real?

Cannot sleep more than 4 to 5 hours at max *sigh* btw robisons and hope88 I m also moving to Chicago (hopefully) and I m pretty scared from the weather there although I m excited to see snowfall and all for the first time in my life but I think I m going to freeze to death

And phew, about time! And ROC catches up on you quite quickly! My advice: start collecting evidence over the years. Keep like a box away somewhere and just put stuff in there as you go along. I'm guessing it's easier than what I did. I scrambled around for a few weeks putting all the evidence together and managed to send off my package like 10 days or something before my green card was to expire

So If u cross 2nd anniversary before entering then u don't have to go through this again right? Is there a interview for adjustment of status? And are the evidences needed? Mine is in jan 22. If I get the interview in dec I will go but if jan before my annivesary date then might as well wait and save the hard work again.

I just want to be over with this ####### ?????

Mine is September 3rd. Now i'm wishing I had paid extra for faster shipping!! haha. I took the gamble of sending both packages at the same time as that is what many reps were saying to do. We will see if it pays off, I guess.

I am so hoping that they review yours in time for a December interview. I'm sure they will. It annoys me. I would be happy to wait a little longer on the initial send and have checklists reviewed quicker.

Thankyou robisons. I hope so too. And yes it makes sense to review checklists faster but that would be too much sense for nonsense Nvc. I m just hoping they make space for me in December in my Nvc and that there is a second round of scheduling. InshAllah!

I feel like dying been fighting with NVC for ever I had applied i130 before and my had his interview in Islamabad they asked for more paper at the interview and he went back after a almost month they last all his paper work I Meagan everything his original everything we contact NVC I asked my senator so finally I had to hire a attorney since then he has been helping me he tried every single government office to locate the file but no one had answer for us so the lawyer suggested to defile and which we did last year in may and still nothing I got checklists my affidavit got some wrong info which I don't understand how it happened????? cried all night one thing after another

Well I saw some CCs with early September scan dates on the other forum. I hope my AOS fee turns to N/A soon. I'm too scared to call, i'll pass out if they tell me I have a checklist. My daughter is set on being home for Christmas... though i'm sure she'll be happy if we have to have 2 Christmas days.

I too can imagine how it feels to be pushed back when you expect something from NVC.

IV fee invoice (14 -> 30 -> 45 days) and document review time (30 -> 45 -> 60 days) kept getting longer while I was at NVC.

WHAT!? I thought they were opening two packages together based on the earlier scan date?

I heard about NVC not giving people a CC if they see unanswered emails because emails show up in their system as "packages".

I emailed NVC twice and I thought I made a mistake!

Fortunately, they answered my emails before they reviewed my IV package so it didn't delay my case at all.

Yes Austin it happened to u at one stage but imagining happening this to some people at every fricking stage of this BS process. I mean not a single place we got lucky! First Uscis had that effed up backlog. 10.5 months waiting there. Then Nvc decided to go backlog exactly when we may June filers entered here. So instead of 2 months it's my 7th and msc 8th month here. Then while we started this they went from 2 weeks to 4 to 6 and now 8 weeks. And then like a cherry on top we got a checklist. I mean talk about torture. I hope nobody ever goes through what we went throu. I m sorry but msc's post just brought back all the 'lovely' memories that immigration process gave me.

I was hoping for cc and got f**** checklist even though I had attorney he made mistake so mad at myself crying feel helpless another 60 days again?????
