Congrats
We are waiting for our packet 4 letter right now for London. Have you done a review of the interview. If not please do. Fiancee is worrying.
I just submitted a review for you! I'll go ahead and paste it here as well just to save you the time.
"My appointment was scheduled for 8am, but I arrived at 7am. There was already a huge line, and we all had to queue in the rain with no cover (bring umbrella!), the security men were really nasty didn't allow anyone to take cover near their security buildings from the rain. I had to take out all my documents in the rain, so they got wet (remember, umbrella is good). When we were allowed to go through security, everything is very obvious as to where to go next (don't worry about navigation).
Once I was in the waiting area I waited about half an hour until I had my first part of the interview. She was a hard to understand Asian lady. She took the following:
-Birth Certificate
-Police Certificate
-i-134 support form (We brought tons of evidence because we were using mainly assets, they accepted NOTHING, she only wanted employee letter [we didn't have it, so she took the form by itself] a bit scary, we thought this would be a denial for sure)
-Passport
I was then told to sit back down and wait until I am called again. I had waited for an hour and a half and heard nothing so I went to the desk to receive some assistance. The help desk just told me to go to one of the booths, they assumed I was there for a work visa, so I went to the booth and was told they needed my passport (but they had taken it already!) She directed me back to the first lady to interview me to receive my passport. For K1's they keep your passport the entire time after you first hand it off, so the help desk ended up inducing more panic than actually helping me! The Asian woman responded "it's slow nothing I can do", so I assumed I had to sit and wait more, I wish people would listen to you when you say which visa you're applying for!
After 30 more minutes of waiting, I was finally called, 2 hours of waiting total.
It was a tall American man, very nice.
His questions were:
How did you first meet?
Have you met in person before?
What do you plan to do in the USA after you've been married?
Have you ever been married before or lived anywhere besides the UK?(He then pulled out photos we included in the original 129F) Who are these people in the picture? (It was me and my fiance's family)He then accepted me, less than 10 minutes later! They didn't even bring up the fact that I didn't give any evidence for the I134 support form (Please don't take this as you don't need evidence, I consider myself VERY lucky that there were no complications."Let me know if I need to clear anything up, all in all the process was a cakewalk. Do NOT stress! Be prepared and just go in confidently, everything will be just fine! -
Hey all, received our visa by courier today. She'll be flying out tomorrow! I'll continue to check up on all of y'all. Wishing and hoping for the best for all of you! Good things are coming.

Hey everyone, very happy to say my Fiancee received her visa today!
I know a number of you recently had their K1 approved as well so I wanted to leave a little information to put your minds at ease.
May 8th:Our interview was on the 8th of may
May 9th:Our case creation status changed to the 9th of may, but is still 'Ready'
May 12th: Our case status changed to 'Administrative Processing', this lasted 6 hours and was changed to 'Issued'
May 15th: The DX courier sent us an e-mail with a tracking number AFTER it had already been delivered. Be careful everyone, the DX Courier allowed her father (with no identification) to accept the visa on her behalf with no questioning. A bit scary knowing it could have been the wrong person!
So to those anxiously waiting for a tracking number, just know it's actually not that useful! Visa can show up at any moment after being 'Issued'
Thanks for the help everyone, her flight is tomorrow!
(On a side note, I booked a one-way flight through United, but on the check in it's showing a return flight for some reason. Is this going to be an issue? I have a receipt from the travel agency I used [Opodo.co.uk] and it clearly states one-way flight)

I got an email from the Embassy (not the courier co.) with the tracking number when my visa had been issued. Has he had this yet? It does seem to be taking a longer than average. I would try to contact the embassy and/or DX couriers to see if his passport has been picked up, but the latter will need a tracking number.
I'm not sure if they do this anymore, I didn't receive such an email. My visa changed to issued on the 12th of May. I haven't received an e-mail from the courier either. Anxious to get our Visa!!

Congrats on your approval! Oh yeh I have an updated letter of intent any way and forgot to include it!
Do you think ill be ok with evidence and i134 evidence? Thats the only thing i'm worried about really.
Thanks!! Keping my fingers crossed too!!
If it puts your mind at rest, we also used a co-sponsor last Thursday.
Our co-sponsor (my father) has only assets so we didn't have a letter from employer, they wouldn't take any other evidence from us (we had lots of bank statements and what not to prove his assets). They ended up only taking the i134 with no evidence. It didn't seem to matter though, they didn't question it or bring it up at any point. We were approved with no issues.

So they got nothing? No pension letter or 1099-R. How strange. Did your fiancé provide any income evidence?
It could be a day or two. Really varies. Have you read this post? http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/474161-london-k1-a-complete-guide/?p=6741253
And I see you are coming to Spring. I know the area. Kind of a big swath across North Houston with some in Harris County and some in Montgomery County.
Yea when the embassy worker prompted my Fiancee to hand over the i134 she asked for an employee letter. My Fiancee said we don't have one, but we do have income evidence (my father has part time work that gets small amount of income) and asset evidence as well (tax forms / bank statements). The employee just kinda nodded her head no and just took the form only. This kind of freaked us out, how would they approve if we have no proof.
She went to the second interview and they didn't even bring up the support forms, just the standard questions. Didn't even ask if I worked or what my father did. Then they just approved us. Was a shock.
Thanks for the link, I'm not sure how I missed that exactly, I've read that over plenty of times! Hopefully the case status starts making some changes soon.
Yea, I'm the petitioner so I've been living in the Spring area for most of my life. Very lovely area, especially near The Woodlands.

Hey all, had our interview today. We were told we were approved! I was curious as to how long our case status on CEAC will take to change? It has updated today but still just says 'READY', not issued or administrative processing.
Also as a little side note, they took no evidence from us for the i134, just the form itself. They didn't want anything other than an employers letter, which we didn't have since my cosponsor is retired.
-
We were just approved at our interview, didn't need this page or have it requested. SO HAPPY!!!! Good luck to those who have it tomorrow and in the future!
-
We've been approved, I can't stop crying.
-
Interview is in 2.5 hours! Nervous! Hope everyone is moving along quickly too!
-
Found it. She got online. One barcode. She will print it.
Email 4. US Visa Personal Courier-In Instructions was dead on. Did have to make it "show" the image though for it to appear for security reasons on her AOL.
Where did you find it? Trying to find it ourselves, what was the email labeled?
-
Figured I'd update this thread instead of making a new one, the embassy responded to our contact form about a week ago asking for another Notification of Readiness. We sent it in and received a case update yesterday. I called the NVC and they said our interview is on May 8th. We still haven't received the letter, hopefully it arrives tomorrow!

Yes, sorry, Hotter Otter is right. We didn't get the drug test because they had no need to look for it considering she didn't answer yes to that on the questionaire
-
My fiance got all his shots from his GP. The shots are not what we are concerned about. http://photos.state.gov/libraries/unitedkingdom/164203/cons-visa/iv018a_medical.pdf
Page 6 it shows chest x-ray (6 month review), saliva test, drug test etc. When these all add up they dont equal 235? And they are listed as if they were mandatory. We are beyond lost.
My fiancee got her chest xray, drug test, saliva and all of that. It was included for her in the 235 pounds.
-
Suggest how much.
If you have the list of vaccines on the K1 guide here, you only need the 235. Each additional shot can range from 30-50 pounds I believe. My fiancee went in with the ones listed on that guide already taken care of and only had to pay the 235 pounds.

What if one only has so much money in their account?
One would need to get more money, or bring cash.

It's been 5 days since I've sent in a contact form to the embassy and still no reply, no interview letter either Anyone have anything else I can possibly do? It seems others who had their medical at the same time as us have since gotten an interview letter.
-
Have you had any luck on finding an interview date? Seems we are at the same stage. I had my medical on the 7th. Case last updated on the 10th. No interview date yet though
We've heard nothing, I called the embassy and they said they couldn't access the database to find out if we had an interview date. Hopefully the form that mcurrie referenced me to will finally get an answer. Tired of calling around and getting told to call another place ;(
-
Been a while since I've heard from y'all, anything new going on?
-
I've contacted both the DOS and NVC regarding our interview. I wanted to see if I could get the date before the letter arrived, but they say they no longer have anything to do with it. From what I've read around here the NVC should have our interview date available for us.
Any tips on how we can get our interview date by phone? I'm worried that our letter won't get here.
-
Her medical is today, she's leaving now. So nervous! Hoping for the best from y'all, keep me updated! I check here at least once a day to see how you guys are doing.
-
I don't see any reason why not, you're going to be staying there anyway! The 90 days are just for the K1 - and will be extended beyond the 90 days when you file for the AOS (I believe its extended at least, hope so), so you'll be staying longer than that, you gotta have your things!
-
Thanks for the responses y'all, appreciate it, as things come closer towards the interview and medical nerves are on edge!
-
I'm pretty sure that i had the wrong birth year of my dad filled in and corrected it on the second form. Never had a problem with it. In the worst case you get a RFE and you have to explain the situation.
Thanks for the response, I figured that would be the case. RFE's are still a thing after we're done with the USCIS? Good to hear they don't cause too much of a fuss.
Things you'll miss from the UK, and how you'll compensate?

Sorry to hear things are rough, I'm not sure if Virginia has Kroger, but I do know the Kroger grocery stores in Texas have began to sell all of those listed items. Hopefully you have something similar if not the same thing, it makes things easier if you're craving something from home I'm sure!
