Hi, I was just wondering how did you call dos and get an interview date. When i called the dos they give me the NVC number and when i talk to them they said the embassy in Kingston schedule the interviews not them. Or is you calling a different number. ?

  2. yea u need to fill out the form DS230 and email d embassy requesting packate 3 and 4 here is d address u should send that form to KingstonIVAppointment@state.gov after u fill out the form and attach it u should write petioners name and beneficiary name also both date date of birth and a statment requesting packet 3 and 4

Oh and also put ur case number in the email and as the subject

When i go to look for the ds230 it is a pdf where i can fill in the questions. Is this something i must download and send a email or what do i need to do . i don't understand. me and my fiance filled out DS260 last-night online. Does this form replace the ds230 ? I'm still confused about what need to be done to get an interview

  3. Hi i',m getting my paper work together for the I134 for the k1 visa and i was wondering if i had everything. I have last year tax return . I work 2 jobs and i have letters from my employers stating how long i worked there, my pay an hour, the hours i work each week and that i'm permanent on both letters. And i have W2 for both jobs. I did get an increase in raise from both jobs which is not shown on the tax return of course.( WIll this be a problem showing higher amonts on the letter than my ITR) But the letters do have my new pay raise on them. I make enough for a family of three which is $28,000 a year when i add up my new income. I'm just confused on the whole adjusted gross income. Is this the income on the w2 that your employer give you on line 1 or where do i find this. I just want my fiance to go in feeling confident that the income part will not be a problem. Please help.

  4. Also my child support has always come the same time and is always the same ( for the last 2 years it has never changed). Also it is in my divorce decree as well stating what i'm getting. I will find the post and post it here. There was more than one person saying they got approved in jamaican when they used it as part of there income.

It was quoted on a couple different visa forums i read and also it states that on the I864. It does not make any since for them to use the form I864 for the k 1 and then not allow child support when it is clearly state in the instruction that you can use it. I already emailed kingston to verify that but from the other post i was reading from different places and people said they got there visa after showing child support as part of their income i'm not worried . But like i said it clearly state you can use it in the instructions. Why wouldn't they use it if the instructions says it can be used. Doesnt make since to me.

  5. What posts?

JA does not accept child support as income, they state it is too inconsistent. They will request a co-sponsor.

  6. Actually i was going to use my child support with my income and if you look on the instructions for form I864 it shows that you are able to include child support as part of your income. But it has to be court ordered. Mine is in my divorce decree showing how much i get. My fiance has my original divorce decree to use at the interview.

Look at part 6 under sponsor income and employment./ current individual annual income.

I have also read other post to where they had their interview in JA and was able to use Child support and they got their visa approved.

  7. I-134 is used for K-1. Co-sponsors use the same form.

JA is funny acting when it comes to income. They look at last year's income, so make sure you filed your taxes, and have either a copy of your taxes or tax transcript for the past two years. JA does not count unemployment or child support as income. You do not need to include assets if you make enough income.

Also, if you are self-employed make sure you have everything to prove you meet the income guidelines. They look at certain info on your taxes to see if after your tax deductions, you meet income guidelines.

If JA says you have to have a co-sponsor, they will deny your petition under 221g, if you do not have one.

  8. I had another question. I was looking on the uscis website and it states that my fiance can have his kids follow to join at a later time. If he gets to the interview and the I134 does not meet the income requirement for a household of 5, can the children travel later time and if my fiance gets the visa is that allowable. Can the income requirements be dropped to 3 instead of 5 if he is bringing them at a later date. When i say 5 i mean me , him, my daughter and his 2 kids =5)

  9. Hi ,My name is Kimberly and I have a question about the income guidelines for affidavit of support. I had a case with uscis and now it is forwarded to the NVC for processing and transfer to the Kingston embassy. My case is for a 129 F fiance visa. He is bringing his 2 kids and I have listed them on the petition as well. I’m trying to figure out if I go off the income guidelines for my household size now which is 2 ( me and my daughter ) or should I go off of the guidelines for a family of 5 which includes me, my daughter and my fiance and his 2 kids. I’m just trying to figure out the income guidelines I need to meet. For a family of 2 it's $15,510 and for a family of 5 it's $27,570 for form I134 . Also do anyone know how long it takes for the NVC to receive the I129 petition for fiance after it is approved. I called and they still have not received it as yet. They approved it on Sept 11th and sent me a notice saying that they sent it to the NVC. Thanks in advance.
