  1. I didn't receive the letter yet. They update my case yesterday. I think I will receive on Tuesday or Wednesday.

Maybe you'll get it on monday! My status changes on 26th, today, 38th I got the letter.

There is a list of documents you have to bring on your interview in the letter :) Don't worry

CONGRATS! LET US KNOW OF YOU INTERVIEW EXPERIENCE , WE ARE WAITING ON OUR LETTER TOO AND DJ AND YNA

I promise! Ohhhh, there is the whole month of waiting :) Funny, that my EAD status haven't changed!

  2. Hi JuliaMoon,

Mine will be on Oct 29th too, but I think will be in San Francisco.

What documents the letter ask us to bring?

I was in rush to answer the RFE and forgot to make a copy of the package. =(

Just the the same - passports, birth certificates, financial documents, taxes together (we don`t have it), insurance together, bank account, lease for both names, photos, correspondence on your address and all these things.

    What time is your interview?

  3. If you don't have many pictures, take whichever you have smile.png If you have pictures with each other's family in them then that's even better.

People also take things like the bills for the rings/wedding bands, tickets for trips you took together etc.

From what I have read, I understand that they give a lot of importance to intermingling financial assets like bank accounts, credit cards, especially insurance (auto or health) so take statements for those if you have. If you don't now is the time to add yourself to his bank accounts =)

Wedding invitations are also another thing you can take and letters from your friends/landlords stating that you live together and rental agreements maybe.

Our timelines are very close :) My interview is on october, 29.

  4. I actually have the same problem. Hubby is not a picture person. He doesnt want to take pictures so theres not much to show. What documents do you think we need to get just for the interview?

That`s what I`m going to take

    1. Pics that we have for 3 years, just few pics before marriage and basically 90% of photos that we made after

    2. 2 wedding invitation with both our names and our address (we got lucky that 2 our friends got married so we got a lil more evidence :)

    3. Statements from the bank. We are going to add me to his bank account next week.

    4. Insurance ( I am not sure about it, because he just had interview for another job, so we are waiting to add me to his insurance. If he get a new job - I will join his insurance there, if he stays on his current job - I will join that insurance. But because they can tell us that for example I need to wait till New Year or something - I am not sure if we are going to have it at all)

    5. All his financial documents again, new paychecks and new letter from work.

    6. Lease or a letter from our landlord that we live together.

    7. All that documents that we sent with AOS (birth certificate, marriage certificate bla bla bla)

That`s actually all we are going to have. We've been married for 3 months from now, so I don't think that you can collect tons of papers. We are not rich, so we don't buy stuff for both our names, I don't have a car and etc. I am sure that if they ask us for more - we will send them, but I don`t really worry about it, because I can even tell the officer how many pairs of underwear he has and what color lol.

I don't see any reason to worry about the interview if your marriage is not fake :)

But my I-765 and I-130 are still in "Initial Review" status. Is it how it is supposed to be?

Mine are the same - Initial Review.
