The interview date of my mom is 09/04.
The original completed case date of my Mom is 05/29. After that they updated to 06/17 and they updated back to 05/29 after I called but I still missed the August schedule.

Same here. We had the same interview date as you guys and today was the last day for the Visa to be issued for hubby to fly back home with me. And I've already paid to change my ticket to Monday. I can't change it again as my in laws will be there Tuesday. They will be there to enjoy some time with their son in his new home and habitat before they see him for awhile. Except he actually won't be there. It's kind of funny actually.
I think I'm going to hide until he comes. What the heck am I supposed to tell family and friends now when they ask where he is? It's not like they've understood anything else that went on with this process.

It's not helpful to anyone to tell people who have already bought tickets that they should not have bought tickets.
People are desperate to see their loved ones, some of us did MONTHS of research that showed that every person being granted visas at their embassy were receiving them in 1-2 business days, NEVER more. So buying them 12-14 days after visa was approved was a safe bet.
No one could have predicted this happening and to make people feel bad/stupid for buying tickets is snarky, I am sorry, but it is.
Let's be positive people. Putting people down only reflects on yourself, not the people you are putting down and I personally don't find any humor in it at all.

September 15th 2014 is our interview. Gonna move that baby up if possible!

I don't know what to do anymore. We have no clue when we will get our Visas. Like none at all. And it seems like no one is in a rush to fix this problem. So basically soon no one will be traveling into the US at all because they either don't have an Immigrant Visa or a non immigrant Visa. And then when they do issue them, it will be a bombardment of people trying to get flights....in the middle of summer. Genius. I freakin stalk CEAC hoping to see some change and nothing. The only thing that changes is the Status Date. Whoopeedooo... That helps.
There are people stuck all over the world because of this issue and yet it feels like nothing is being done to fix it. I'm so angry at this entire stupid process.

Oh no! Somehow I really thought you received your visa already! Your interview was so early this month! Is it still at "ready" on the website?? This is unbelievable. I am really happy you received your visa sandraperry, honestly! No survivors guilt allowed here!! I have this thread open on my smartphone and I am reading all the updates! It's nice to talk with people who understand what we went through and why I am now getting upset (family and friends are just like "don't worry, you'll receive it in a few days", yeah right because we can really trust them when they say they're "doing everything to fix the problem"...). I just checked the ceac status, it was updated today, still at "ready". Perhaps it was updated because I sent an email to the embassy...

I just finished calling the NVC now, wow.. I got our interview date. It's on September 24th, 2014

Just got my interview date from the Kingston embassy this morning for August 8th so I have to be scurrying like mad to get my medical done on July 31st as August 1st and August 6th are public holidays here in Jamaica. The light at the end of the tunnel- finally after more than 14 months....

My operator said I was the first September interview she's given out! September 5 baby, yeah!

Sooo .. on the embassy website I read the following:
"On the day of your interview, a set of your fingerprints will be electronically scanned. If you have a cut or blister on any of your fingers or thumbs, your application will not be processed. You will be required to reschedule an appointment for a later date."
Apparently hubby got a tiny scratch on one of his fingers today while doing yard work so now we're hoping it's healed by Monday. Take care of your fingers!!!

I sent everything to NVC and then they asked for everything again at the interview. My organized binder helped my find everything in a snap.

Let me know as well. You might get yours first than my husband lol. Do we have a lot of people waiting with us right now?
That is a really good point. I've been checking the tracking number if our envelope too. If I don't see why changed by tomorrow, I'm calling. It will be a week tomorrow

My visa application status just changed from "READY" to "Administrative Processing" oh! it's a good sign right?!

Our interview date was rescheduled to August 4th! Hubby and I will be flying back home together on August 30th!!

Blessings on you and especially on your husband as he makes his way to East Jerusalem and back. As others have said, your circumstances make all of our complaints pale in comparison. Please let us know when he is safely back home.

It's reading post like this that give me pause and realize how blessed we are as Americans and should be so grateful.
I mean people complain about not having their documents, the right clothes, the heat, having to stand, sit to long on interview day and here we have someone who is literally risking their life in order to be with the one they love.
May Gods' grace and protection cover your family on this blessed day and surround you always.
