  1. You have been given some good advise and some not so good. As it has been stated. Go to his Commanding Officer or his Staff NCO. They will provide you with all the information that you need. I'm sure that the base he is station at has a medical clinic and they are able to do the DNA testing if he denies that the baby is his. As far as him only giving you a verbal agreement that he will pay you child support cause if he signs something he will lose his job is not true whether he is married or not. If he is married the Marine Corp will not kick you of for cheating on your wife...The reason I know this is I was in the Marines and got out as a Staff NCO and dealt with issues like this while I was in.

  2. Ya'll are fine. My wife was the same with our son. As long as you have Single Status certificate you good. Since she does have a child you will need a statement from the father whether he comes to the embassy or go to the local Amphur giving you consent for the child to come to the US. This is a most. 3. You can get the medical prior to receiving the official packet, you just have to push. We had the same issue with the ladies there in Bangkok in that they said they would not do it until we had packet 3. My wife showed up with the NOA2 and pushed and got it taken care of. It was a good thing she did as we never received an official packet 3.

Same here...My wife did the same and had no issues. Just showed the NOA2

  4. When you apply for a loan you have to be the primary applicant and have her added as a secondary on the loan. This is what I had to do for my wife and when you add her to your bank and credit card she will piggy back off your credit score. As far as adding her to your mortgage I had no problems with this and didn't have to refi or anything that changed the payment.

  5. The answer is depends on the carrier. My wife had a prepaid dtac sim with her iPhone and it worked in Japan and in LA when we landed sms only. They have an agreement with AT&T however the rates are very expensive. Yes she will be able to connect to wifi and use line to call you but when she is clearing customs and immigrations she will not be able to turn her phone on until she leaves the immigrations area. Like Ning said "there is only one way out. That's up the ramp that leads to the doors that allow people outside. If you are at the top of that ramp she cant miss you." Congrats!!!!!

  6. I live in Vegas and had no problem getting my wife a State ID with just her passport that shows she is her legally and has a 90 stamp along with her Social Security Card, and our marriage license. The state ID will only be good for the 90 days from the time she entered the U.S. though. We are getting ready to file her AOS paperwork and hopefully with the NOA they will be able to issue her another state ID until she changes her driving licenses over
