JessJoe got a reaction from Oliver Heartmont in I-751 April 2017 Filers
    Hey everyone,

I am the USC as my wife is actually the petitioner.  I have been absent from the forums for almost two years as we focused in every day lives, but just wanted to comment here, same with you as an April 2017 filer, that we both are grateful for your help in this site and in particular this topic. Even that I didn't write nothing but I read most of the replies.

My wife finally was approved last August 27th to get the 10 years green card, all the complete process lasted 5 years from our first meeting to now, with two blessed children during the road. We were lucky in no getting interview or RFE.

Thanks guys. I really appreciate what you are doing in the forums and hopefully you keep doing the same, and for those who don't know nothing yet about your ROCs, don't desperate, soon you'll get great news!

JessJoe got a reaction from kissinger81 in Only HSdiploma : what job (& pay) could i expect in the South (TN)?
    Hello Mirhen
If I am not mistaken Tennessee and Missouri (my home) are about the same so I will be totally honest with you if I may.
HS Diploma gives you certain advantage if you live outside Memphis because you could get easily a job fast....but also you could lose a job that quickly, forget for now in getting a permanent job since most companies will hire mostly as temporary through "employment agencies" (Kelly's, Focus Staffing, Aerotek) to work in manufacturing or shipping factories where the language doesn't matter at all but only the basic.
Maybe, with luck, some company will look and hire you as permanent with very good benefits.
That's true that Spanish plays an important part in the US but unless is required having English is enough to get a job, people don't care if you speak other languages as long you know English.
Make sure get your EAD (Work Authorization) when applying for green card to be able to work.
    Hope it helps....my regards

It is not about the expiration date, It is the edition date that matters Although in this case, it doesn't matter either because previous editions are accepted.

JessJoe got a reaction from Kaylara in K-1 or CR-1; which is best
One of the main requirements to file for a I-129 is that the petitioner is already a US Citizen, your friend is under a 10 years green card and just applied for Citizenship....so that is not possible and he has to wait until he is US Citizen officially, and he can't sponsor either.
Hope it answers your questions. Regards.
