Finally some news! Received Yellow Letter asking me to bring State issued ID or DL. Online status remains the same and no notification about Interview yet.

What * yellow letter * everybody talking about ? I received letter in small white envelope format 10 looks like , where it was date and time . place and what to bring on interview.

I received my interview letter today: 1/24/2012! The notice date is 12/20/2011. It came with a white instructions letter. What is the yellow letter everyone is talking about? My white letter lists what documents to bring (green card, tax records and such). It also says the interview takes 2 hours???

unfortunately orlando office is very busy....
Unfortunatelly I am in Washington DC ( Fairfax ) , looks like they are more than busy . I was reading forum and found out that they are processing JUNE filers now ...

Just got an update that an interview date has been set and that the letter was mailed on 11/14/11. I am very excited on how fast this is going hopefully going to get all finished by December of this year. Good luck everyone. Well, the time has come to begin the last phase of this journey! But as always, things just cannot be easy for me.
Here is the deal. My hubby is getting new orders next month and he is very sure we are PCSing overseas. I am ready to file for citizenship next week. I did hear in the past that if there are military orders present any immigration process can be accelerated. So I called USCIS to make sure and they gave me a list of the situations in which my application can be expedited, but they are all in the smart form, so noone could specifically tell me if I can expedite citizenship based on orders. So, the questions are:
1. Can I expedite N-400 based on my honey's PCS orders overseas?
2. Will it cost us (expediting)?
3. Can I file now and expedite once we receive the orders?
Any other info you would like to share on the topic - feel free!
May be better to wait until order will be issued and than to file n-400 expediting ?

Thank you very much for your help! Yes , I am filling based of 319(b) INA section.
My husband is already at his new overseas assignment for more than 2 years . Looks like you've been on that road before . Is it a long process ? I am in US now, starting this process and once it's done will be gone to his location .
I would like to know your opinion , what do you thinkl would be better ? To file documents as per our address in USA and get interview at our local ( nearest is Dallas office ) and not to ask specifically for any other US CIS office? As I understood 319(b) are not very common cases, and some local US CIS offices have never seen it before . After I read through forum , lots of people asked for Fairfax office for naturalisation , or it doesn't matter where to get interview if i meet all criterias?
I still kind of frustrated with 3 or 5 years addreses . I have a GC less than 3 years, do I still need to fill in forms for the period since I become a permanent resident or for 3 years or for 5 years ?

I am filling N400 form based on INS 319(b).
And I am very frustrated with the form N400 PART 6.
How to answer on these questions ?
Where have you lived for last five years ?
And trips outside USA for last five years ?
How I should count these trips as I am a Permanent resident less than 5 years . Or I should count trips only since I became a GC holder ?
And one more question regarding tax documents .
US CIS site says : Tax returns OR IRS tax receipts > I am completely confused .
I have tax returnes in my computer , and I can just print it out and send ? Should it be enough or I still need to request from IRS tax return transcripts ?

What paper form? The AR-11? I filled out the online version.
if you have a pending case , MAKE SURE that besides changing address on-line (form AR-11) YOU CALL to US CIS and make sure that operator will make changes in the system and than you will receive notification ( within several days ) that address has been changed . This letter you will receive on new address .
Look at my post from yesterday regarding problems we faced with changing address on-line .

You were given the wrong information - or they didn't know you had a pending application (which is probably the case).
Unless they actually call up your file -the operator would have no idea if you had any pendings.
You will have to wait for the card to be delivered to your new address.

Sorry for your troubles - but the instructions on the USCIS clearly state this:
Since you had a pending case, you were directed to file the AR-11 and call USCIS so they could change the pending case address.
Make sure you call USCIS and ensure they have your new address.

We filed AR-11 electronically next day after we moved and also we called at the same day to US CIS and operator said that AR-11 is enough , and yesterday , after I found out that GC has been sent to old address , I called them again and they changed address in the system while I called them , but they said that GC will be send within 45 days now
So , what should I do now ?
