Had my interview Feb.13 here in Atlanta. Still no letter for oath taking and the status on my timeline still the same as your wife. A friend of mine told me that after her interview, she received the oathtaking letter over a month. I might call USCIS next week, Tuesday.

Guys my interview was finally done this morning.  Past days and weeks was so stressful and finally i made it and  USCIS Form-N-652  is showing “Congratulations! Your application is recommended for approval. At this time, it appears, that you have established your eligibility for naturalization. If final approval is granted, you will be notified when and where to report for the oath ceremony.

Here’s the story of my journey today:

Set alarm for 5:45am. Interview time is 10:30am
Left the house at 7am.  Traffic was so bad going to Atlanta USCIS office. Arrived at the parking lot at 8:30am.  Walk towards the building and have to wait to be called by the guard to put all personal belongings on a tray for check up through xray machine like in the airport. Went to a window and showed my appointment letter. She told us to go to the second floor and check in there at 10:05 am since my interview scheduled was 10:30.  It was a long ordeal waiting in that cold room.So i just observed some people who were called ahead of me. Their are some applicants who took forever inside to be interviewed and their are some who was just quick and came out with a smiling face.  Funny i saw one USCIS officer who looked tough and i told myself, hope she will not be the one to interview me.   But, she was indeed my interviewer when i was finally called at 10:40am.

She guided me towards her office and told me to remained standing and raised my right hand to take an oath.

After that she told me to sit down, and asked me to hand to her my passport, Green Card, Drivers License and SSN card.  She asked if i have another id. I told her thats all ID i got because at work we dont have an ID but an employee number to used to clock in.

Then she set aside all the documents she asked and took a pic of me. Did finger printing again. I dont know why. She said lets do your biometric again.

After that she handed me a paper to signed.

Then she asked me if i bring a new bank statement of me and my husband.  Oh gee! I thought about that last night but just ignored it.  I told her, I dont have any but I have a new phone bill and insurance of our car both under our name. She took that and attached it together to my folders. Oh Thanks God, she did not asked for more.

Next she handed me a paper to write a sentence.  Then the second paper there are sentences for you to read.

After that, she went through all the pages of the application form and asked questions whats in there. She will be signing the papers as she go along and doing works on the computer too.

Finally she asked me the civic questions.

            * What is the Supreme Law of the Land?
            * How many amendments does the constitution have?
*Who is in charge of the executive branch?
*What is the name of the Vice President?
*Who is the chief justice Of the United States?
*What group of people was taken to America and sold as slaves?

Guys, there are ready questions already printed on that paper which is intended for each diiferent individuals or applicants.  As she was reading the questions, she was checking it too and writing something after every answers you gave.

After that, she handed me the Form N-652 and told me to wait on the mail for the letter of Oath Taking schedule. She also said, to bring the green card and what is stated on the letter.

She congratulated me and led me to the exit door.

I told my husband i need a good lunch and a drink.  Imagine guys I took a sleeping pill last night and went to bed at 9pm.  I had so many weird dreams.  LOL! Even in my dreams, I was holding the citizenship book and was memorizing.

@Waitinggame16  Im so happy you finally going to your interview soon.  Just be prepared for all the documents to bring. Bring current Bills.

To all those waiting for the big day,  goodluck to all of you.

Hello guys! I decided to proceed with my coming interview instead of going home for the birthday of my mom on Feb. 12.  My interview date will be on Feb.13.
Im suppose to be going home Feb.8 - 22.  Talked with my mom and she said go for it. We will catch up some other time soon after all this visa or naturalization journey of mine.

I read somewhere the line in the interview letter that I can re-schedule it. I tried to look for a date for Info-Pass but crazy the available date is also a conflict. The open date is Feb.8.  So I told myself,  Okey its time to focus on one thing and proceed with my interview.  Started reviewing again the 100 questions and preparing all the documents I need to bring.

I told my husband to be off that day so he can drive me for my interview. I don't have the nerve to be driving through that crazy Interstate Highway.

It was a walk-in. My real appointment date is on the 9th but i am scheduled also for a training class same day at work. Its my day off today so i decided to take chances if they will accept me or not. Honestly, they did not really looked at the date and time of my appointment. The guard just check my green card if it has the same name in the appointment letter.  It was not busy there today. It only took me less than 30min and biometric done.  The frustrating part was driving alone to that office and my guide was just my phone (gps).
Im happy i made it through especially that part driving  an interstate which im really scared of.

Good day guys. I dont know where to post my question but trying in here to receive an answer.  Im about to send my N-400 application on monday.  Im confused what to answer on this question on Part 10 INformation about Marital History  Number 8 -  How many Times has your current spouse been married (including annulled marriages, marriages to other people, and marriages to the same person)?  If your current spouse has been married before, provide the following information about your current spouse's prior spouse.

My spouse was divorced two times. So i put #2 on space provided. But my husband said it should be #3 including me as his wife.  That starts the confusion. Anybody could help please.

    VISA APPROVED!
Finally I can breathe and relax. The CO must have like me because he was firing at me like 26 questions all in all. He never asked me for any documents I had. Gosh! the skype logs, Phone logs and Text logs makes my bag so heavy. He keep smiling everytime he asked a question. He looked cute though so I was relax talking with him. When he said, looked like you have everything here and you are ready to go and see your husband. I remembered my 1-864EZ was never asked so I told him, I have a certain document that I need to submit during my interview. He was confused but still go over it. Then asked me, why are you giving this to me? I did not asked for this document. So I told him, it was NVC who instructed me to bring that on my interview to complete the process of my AOS. If I wont give it to you now, then I will have incomplete AOS. He smiled! and said, okey! I will put this together with your files..and said to come back on Thursday to pick my my passport.
While i was at Mcdonald, my phone rings and it was the CO telling me to go back inside the embassy for my fingerprinting. ON my way there, I was asking myself, how many times do I need to have fingerprints. I already did that before the interview start.
I saw him waiting for me in the same window and said SORRY that he forget to let me have another fingerprinting while taking an OATH!
For all those waiting.....just keep on praying and everything will be fine.

NBI is National Bureau of Investigation clearance which is just applicable for citizens of the Philippines. So dont worry about it. You just have to provide Police clearance from your country.

Having a lawyer delayed the process and thats what happened to us. I called NVC personally to get the case # and Invoice ID number and let them know I got it.
We are confident we wont get a checklist hiring a lawyer and still got a checklist.

when i had my passport certified here in the Bahamas, I booked for an appointment at the USembassy here. Maybe you can do the same there..I paid $50 for the certification. I feel like going for an interview that day too because i have to fall in line together with all visa applicants. But when i was already inside, I was called right away by one consul and assist me with the certification of my passport.
