  1. Hi JanRay,

Just to be sure I wrote St. Lukes and asked if I could take an advance medical exam. This is their reply:

Normally, appointment letter from the US Embassy or Instruction letter from the NVC with the date of interview is presented to us during the medical examination. However it is your discretion to have the medical examination without the appointment letter, for as long as you know your case number and visa preference category.

I think the results of the medical exam is valid for 6 months only :)

  2. Hi rhead!

Normally it takes 1-2 days. :) They will not give you the results but they will tell you if they find something during your xray. If everything goes well, you will get the list of the vaccines they will give you and a cd of your xray which you will present during the interview.

  3. So we paid both AOS and IV last March 7.After 3 working days the AOs status appeared paid but until today the Iv is still 'in process'. My husband called the nvc last monday and they told him they are having problems with their system. He called again today and they gave him the same reason. Is anyone here experiencing this? It's been 3 days they should have fix it already right? :(

  4. My husband called yesterday at the NVC and finally we got our case number. He asked for the Invoice number as well but the person at NVC told him we can't use it until we get an update from them.

We called our laywer and the paralegal just told us to wait for the NVC. How long does it normally take after we get the case number to finally go to the next step?

NVC received our case last Dec. 24 but they told us they just started processing it in January 21.

  5. Hi guys, our NOA 2 was approved last Nov. 29 and we got an email from USCIS that they shipped our case to NVC last Dec. 3, My husband called NCV last night (Manila time) and they told him they received it last Dec. 24 and to call they after 2-3 weeks for the case number. What documents from my end do I need to prepare while waiting for the case number? I'm quite overwhelmed. hehe.

  6. my pd was march 11, less than 1 hour ago they send us email and text message update on our case status, and then i checked my case status at uscis website and it says was approved on Nov.25.

    ÃÂ

we were transferred to Nebraska service center, on Oct.31.ÃÂ

I think is a matter of days for everyone, just be patient and do something else to keep yourself busy in the meantime.

Wow we have the same pd, new service center and transfer date! I hope we got ours today as well. Congratulations! ;)

  7. March filers:

Here is the spreadsheet for transfers on Google docs. As you can see, there is a lot of key information missing. If you see any key information (transfer, location, NOA2) that you know to be incorrect, let me know by leaving a comment on the doc. I would provide an editable document that we could collaborate on, but as I mentioned before, some of the Excel 2010 functions do not work properly on Google Spreadsheets.

    Good job good.gif

  8. We have same scenario Angelbijoi, when I checked my status, it says it was transferred to Lee Summit Missourri, but the fact is, it's really the address of MSC or NBC so I don't know why they want us to be confused. And when my husband called USCIS the other day, the representative told him to wait for a notice within 30 days for the next step. I just hope the good news is coming our way..

I hope so too. We've been waiting for a long time already protest6wz.gif
