first was tansferred on the 23 of oct to a local USCIS office then on the 24 to a USCIS service center (Nebraska)
When were you transferred?
ETA: I see from a previous post you were transferred on 10/23. They appear to be slowing down a bit. That's exactly 3 weeks.

Correction!!
just came to update you guys. I was approved as i already mentioned in this thread, but my judgement was wrong. my file wasn't approved from local office. I received the hard copy and i just opened it and it was approved from Nebraska service center(transferred). just wanted to clear that. sorry my mistake.
congrats !!
Transferred from NBC to Texas on October 24th
Updated to now being processed on October 29th
Approved November 8th!!!

mine was transfered on the 23rd as well to nebraska.. but what is taking so long to approve it ?
Hi ,i started receiving the status updates on 21st of october. hard copy says nbc transferred on 22nd. the last status message i received was on 23rd october, that it was transferred.
it took 1 and 1/2 week to get approved from nebraska service center.
-
Yours is at nebraska.. I got the 3 same letters like yours..
Congrats Annie1!! I am really happy for you. So your case got approved at a local office or at Nebraska? The last status you got was your case was transferred to a USCIS office, not a local one, correct? And that was what the hard copy said? So I am wondering why you think your case got approved at a local office..Sorry, I think I am totally confused
I got the 3 notices too:
-being transferred to another office
-being transferred to local office
-transferred to a USCIS office
-hardcopy that it got transferred to Nebraska with a 60 day supplemental
So, is mine at a local office or at Nebraska?
Anyhow..Wishing you a speedy journey to NVC and beyond! Congrats again!!

congrats... My case was also transfered to nebraska according to the hard copy... Im still waiting for the approval letter to come..
Thank you everyone!
if you guys received a hard copy from nebraska. dont go on that. the statuses are more true. this is what i understood. nbc transfered mine to nebraska
i received text that case is transferring. (which should be to nebraska)
next day i received a msg that file transfered to lcoal office and has jurisdiction over my case ( which meant nebraska didnt take it or transfered it )
then i received a final message that it was transferred
later, after all this i received a hard copy from nbc that case was transfered to nebraska. but that was the original letter that i received later.
status messages were more accurate in my case.

lets see what happens.
i called uscis again i was told wait till oct (for 8 months) i hope what ever they are saying is true this time about october approvals. looking forward to it.
what number do u call? I called the number that they gave on the NOA1.. and after I follow the instructions I speak to a customer service representative and they say they have no idea when the case will be processed or what the processing times are.. and My PD is feb 28. NBC.... In about a few days its going to be 7 months...
-
seems like feb was an unlucky month to file everything had to go stuck on februuary right? frustrated. i thought we were gonna hear something in august.6th month mark passed.
Im also a USC.. and still waiting.. 6 months have passed for us to.. still nothing.. I dont know what to do now....
-
I don't understand how people get more information . from day one i am getting same info. "nothing!" it's pending. no dates or updates of anything. just wait patiently.
I am frustrated first they told everyone it takes 6 months please wait that much atleast. now everyone passed the 6th month period and they telling ppl somethign else.
I called again today hoping maybe i will get some good information too. the only thing that was a common answer "it's taking 6 - 8 months to approove at NBC". and they also told me they are not transfereing to local offices, don't know how much of that is true.
They told me it take NBC 13 months to approve the I-130.. and this is only the 6th month for me, and they also told me that all I 130's automatically go to NBC and they cannot be transfered until the case is approved.

I have filed I-130 for my husband on feb 26 at chicago lockbox, recieved case number on march 4th with priority date of 28 feb. It starts with MSC which means it was sent to NBC. Its been six months still no approval letter, I have called so many times they say that there is a backlog at NBC. Don't know how long its going to take for the NOA2 to come.. any ideas of what should I do?
-
NYC is a slow office.
I applied through chicago lockbox and they sent the case to the national benefits center thats why my case reciept number starts with a MSC -- missiouri service center

I have applied for my husband (I 130) in feb of 2013. I got the case reciept number after a few days (MSC). Its almost 5 months. still no approval letter from them.. whenever I check online it says that the case is under Initial review. I even called them and they said the same thing. What should I do? and will I have to go for FP? I am a USC. was born and raised here.

Hi,
My NoA2 just got approved at USCIS.. and now it will be transferred to NVC, I was wondering if I can get all my mail from them through email since I live in the US? or Do I have tto mail them every single document instead of emailing them it?
