I think consul aksed for Facebook things because that's how they knew each other. The CO we had in Ghana asked for a copy of the original friend request from Facebook.

I know two cases from Egypt recently consul also asked for Facebook chat logs.

Send in as much evidences as you can and don't worry you won't be in lengthy AP, I saw many cases like yours and they went well in last.

Congrats, very happy for you.

Celebrate now and don't worry, they keep their word.I know I still feel a bit nervous about them saying 1 to 2 weeks but hopefully they hold to their word as much as possible

There are good news for Egypt; some cases completed on July have been scheduled for September. After you have case complete at NVC you wait for interview for Egypt that can be a 4 to 8 month wait (even though this last months assignments were encouraging people waiting since March and April got interviews).
Hope NVC keep this rate.

It took us 1 year and 4 months from I-130 to interview, but every case is different and work load may vary.
I was proactive and aware of all procedures, you can see my timeline in my signature below.

I think it's not a good point for your case. Tell your husband to not be stressed and speak English at interview as he communicate with you, he mostly would get a bilingual CO, and if he didn't understand a question, CO will repeat it in Arabic. That's what happened with me.

Congratulations and best of luck.

As consul approved your husband at interview, mostly visa will be issued soon, it's normal to see "AP" message before "ISSUED". Be patient and don't worry. If it takes long, contact the embassy.

Yes he can apply at Spanish embassy in Cairo, or Spanish consulate in Alexandria depending on his residence, he should take a certified copy of your marriage certificate with him at interview, as it's a good supporting document.

You can make POE after you were issued a visa.i didnt understand that,
me in like a 7 days i will have my 2sd anniversary , and i still waiting for the approval for the I130
so please can you explain to me if i have rite to make the POE ,
and if yes, please explain to me how , ?
thank you so much
As your second anniversary is a week after, when you got approved after your interview, you will be issued IR1 visa which give you permanent residence after you make POE to US.

It means "Port of Entry"can you please tell me what means the POE ??
because me im gonna get my second anniversiry in 8 days , and i still not get my visa yet
-
Thanks for reply, I'll read it.That's correct.
It's written in the Immigration and Nationality Act.

Hello there, a few questions please;
I read somewhere that if i make POE after the second anniversary date, I'll get a permenant residence not conditional regardless if visa type is CR1, Is that still true?
If so, where can i find that officially written?
And if i had POE a day after second anniversary date, does it work and i would get a permenant residence?
Regards.

Congrats on the interview!
My congressman's assistant has been helping me and said cases can still be at the NVC while waiting to be scheduled for an interview but that seems wrong to me.
Your case can be still at NVC until you're scheduled an interview sate,
By estimate, you may get an interview date on September at the end of ongoing month.

It's fine to send in a copy with IV package and take original at interview.
