  1. We got our NOA2 over e-mail on the 28th as well from TSC but we did not get a hard copy either yet. I sope to a Tier2 rep and they notified me last week over e-mail that our case approval date was actually the 26th and that I must allow 30 days from the NOA2 (the 28th) to call them again and then they would send it again.

Besides all of that we did not get transferred to NVC yet neither... :(

  2. I was told to give it a full two weeks before I call. That it got dropped off for mailing that Sunday (that wasn't a glitch), that I was actually approved on the 26th, and that if I don't have the paper by Monday to call again.

But I have the date now, so I'll be able to finish the rest of the paperwork.

    I believe we are both in the same exact situation. We were approved the same day o the 26th of July. They sent me an email at 8:25 pm saying this;

USCIS records show that your case was approved on July 26, 2013, and the approval notice was mailed to the address that was on file on July 28, 2013. If you do not receive the approval notice in 30 days from the date that your case was approved, please contact the National Customer Service Center at 1-800-375-5283.

I will wait till the 26th of August and if I don't have the copy by then I will go ahead and call them again.

Good luck to us and lets hope they transfer our files to NVC soon...

  3. I called everyday since August 3, I was first told 8 weeks but yesterday someone told me three weeks...

    Hoping that's not another lie....

It's hard to guess... beacuse I think they vary in time, but the lady at NVC said the worst case would be 8 weeks, which is hopefully not going to happen to us.

  4. Thanks! And I'll keep letting you guys know when I get it so you all can gauge timeframes. smile.png

But unfortunately it does look like it takes around 3 weeks just for TSC to ship the files. That seems to be the average from what I can tell.

At least you got your NOA2 in the mail and stuff but we still did not get that... and you were already sent to NVC. That is such a blessing! So happy for you! Now get ready for that interview let's hope it will be very soon!

If you contacted the National Customer Service Center with a case-related inquiry and more than 30 days have passed and you have not received a response, you may email the appropriate USCIS Service Center with your inquiry:

    tsc.ncscfollowup@dhs.gov

I hope this is helpful for those that have been waiting long from the Texas service center.

  6. Ok... here are the results of my call with the Tier2 Rep.

I waited on the phone for over an hour and a half and at the end a lady answered. She said that "cases are NOT transferred back to VSC after TSC has approved them", but that within the next 30 days after approval the NVC should receive the file and I should call NVC to make sure if they got it. The same thing with the hard copy of the NOA2. She said I have to wait til the end of the 30 days, which would be on the 27th of August. If I did not get a hard copy by then, I must call them and they would send me a second copy on certified mail.

  7. Hello there! If this was your first e-mail for the transfer, let me tell you that you will get three in total. A couple days later you will receive a letter from Vermont telling you you were transferred, probably to TSC for further processing.

After that your approval should be within the next couple of weeks, but after your NOA2 then they take so long to transfer the file to VSC again and then VSC, as your original filling office, should forward the file to the corresponding embassy.

I thought that after NOA2 (approval) at TSC things would go much faster but they are taking so long!!!

  8. We are 29th July approved. We received ours on 3rdAugust we are not transfers but we are from vsc. You should have received the hard copy by now. Hate to say this but I believe the battle really begins now with the time it is taking for Uscis to transfer files to NVC. So I am bracketing myself for the long wait. When I called I was told 8 weeks. Not to mention that they started as if yesterday to do another tsc transfer two people that was part of my may group that had not been approved yet got transfered out yesterday on the 6th August. God help us all lol.

It is a struggle all the way through, but the thing is that I have heard that TSC must send back to VSC all the approved petitions and then VSC sends us the hard copies and forwards the file to NVC and that process itself is messing things up for some of us.

Thanks for sharing your experience and good luck with the rest of this so called journey.

  9. We are NOA1 April 8 and NOA2 July 28, but still waiting for hard copy over the mail, but besides that there are no signs of TSC sending anything to the NVC :(

We are originals in Vermont and transferred to Texas.

I keep calling USCIS to see if I could speak to a tier 2 rep. but they make excuses all the way and that since our case is already approved they are done with it and that there is no action they can take for us at this point.

  10. I called USCIS yesterday to inquire what the process for mailing was given that the approval was done at TSC. And the lady just told me that they had sent it to NVC already and that I have to wait 3 more weeks to get the letter in the mail. I know she could only see the same thing I see online by and large I do not expect a regular representative to give me any more than a lie.

I asked to speak to a tier 2 rep. and did not succeed. The same lie again about the system having difficulties...
