  1. I got my NOA2 Aug 1st, called to NVC a couple of times after that day they didnt have my info yet so decided to wait and dont rush it and yesterday got an email from USCIS saying that they forward my info to DOS on the 16th to contact them if I have any question, now Im on the phone with DOS to see if they have my info yet. Lets see what happens..

    Good luck!

Let us know if you get anything. :)

  2. Hey loran surely the have given you a case number by now. We got ours yesterday. Which made 3 weeks after noA2 approval. They had just sent it to NVC. Was able to the log on to the CEAC site to track our file which is currently still at NVC. Hopping it will leave by Friday to London.

But one question. You got the case number from NVC or from USCIS? Because when I ask NVC with my original receipt number from USCIS they say they still don't have anything. :(

I will call again this afternoon... I hope to get something.

  3. Our NOA2 28th July from TSC was also sent on Aug 15th to NVC, does it mean we can bug them for a case number? I wonder has everybody received their hard copy of NOA2 as of July? or we are the only ones left?

We didn't receive the NOA2 in the mail yet either. I will be calling USCIS on monday to put a service request.

Also we were transferred on the 15th to NVC and i8t did not reach there yet. I just got off the phone with them.

The girl said it may take up to 8 weeks, but to keep trying.

  4. Need a little advice....

NOA2 was approved July 10th, I called and received my number from Visa Center. I have still not received the hard copy of the NOA 2 yet.....

    Questions:

1> how long does it take to receive the NOA 2 in the mail?

2> is there a link to get the Packet 3 information ready for the interview?

    Thanks bunches!!!!!

We were approved on the 26th of July and we stil;l haven't received the NOA2 in the mail either. I have called USCIS several times the past couple of weeks and all they can tell me is to wait til the 30 days after approval to call them and make a service request.

I will be calling them on monday the 26th.

  5. We'll see, I have my doubts lately. tongue.png

I didn't get my NoA2 yet either. I meant to call this week, but life has been far too busy. :C

I hope we get that soon!

I e-mailed TSC 4 days ago to see if they would answer me. I asked them about the letter and the transfer to NVC and suddenly after that e-mail, coincidence or not they started transferring file from that week.

  6. Lol, i swear they are working last in first out. I looked at the approvals and it seems all the July 24th NOA2 are still waiting to be transferred, while everything after that is being transferred. I give up. However, congrats loran

Thank you! I don't understand their system either, but I hope everyone gets their file transfer as well, though I know it should take like a week for NVC to receive this now. That notice made my day today goofy.gif

  7. Hi my case was shipped to NVC today.

Can anyone tell me what papers do I need so I can have them all ready when my fiance recieves his packet. Thank you!!

Congrats! We were transferred too today! dancin5hr.gifgoofy.gif

I will start calling NVC by the end of next week to see if they already have the file and to get the SDO number, so that we can arrange for the interview at the banco popular.

  8. Got the original NOA2 dated July 25, 2013, then on August 14, 2013 received this status email update:

    Application Type: I129F , PETITION FOR FIANCE(E)

Your Case Status: Post Decision Activity

On August 14, 2013, we shipped this approved or re-affirmed case to the Department of State for visa processing. For more information, please contact them directly.

Does this mean they didn't mail it to NVC until nearly 3 weeks after the NOA2 date, on August 14, 2013? If so, I guess that means I need to wait another 7-10 business days to call NVC, right?

That's right. I will start calling NVC at the end of next week.

    Good luck! dancin5hr.gif

  9. So in the off chance that something would have changed, I called NVC tonight. They've received our file. According to the guy, "it's in a big metal shipping container out on the loading dock". I'm not quite sure how I feel about that, or how accurate that is, but at least it's somewhere, right? Maybe tomorrow we'll have a case number...

Lucky you! Congratulations! hope they transfer our file soon as well.

  10. no updates here. Still sitting with Texas or in some mail room but they havent' updated anything. I am trying to hard to be patient

We are in the same spot. :( Still waiting in TSC. No updates, no nothing. I did not even get the NOA2 in the mail or anything, but I will be giving them a call on the 25th to ask them to mail me another one, in case I don't get it before that. Some people that were approved on the same week are being transferred already, and that is keeping my hopes up. This system is really disorganized... I wish things get a little more straight for us to understand how it all goes... Amen

  11. hi, I got approved on 7/22 but still don't get hard copy now.

I called USCIS yesterday to inquire what the process for mailing was given that the approval was done at TSC. And the lady just told me that they had sent it to NVC already and that I have to wait 3 more weeks to get the letter in the mail.

we were also told the same answer. hope they will mail us hard copy in 3 weeks. god bless us!

I am praying for this to more forward... I don't understand why it is so difficult to just send the stuff...

Good luck and let us know if you get anything please!

  12. Workload Transfer for Various Forms

USCIS recently began transferring some casework within the service centers to balance workload processing capacity. The affected casework includes the following forms:

USCIS Form Transfer of Workload I-129F, Petition for Alien Fiancé(e) Vermont Service Center (VSC) to Texas Service Center (TSC) I-130, Petition for Alien Relative (F2A category for spouses and children of permanent residents) VSC to Nebraska Service Center (NSC) I-821D, Consideration of Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals(with accompanying Form I-765, Application for Employment Authorization) VSC to NSC I-751, Petition to Remove the Conditions on Residence VSC to California Service Center (CSC) Effect on Customers

If your case was transferred, USCIS will send you a notice listing the transfer date and where your case will be processed. Your original receipt number will not change. You should reference your original receipt number and indicate your case was transferred to a new location when making any case status inquiries.

If you have filed one of the affected form types and you receive a request for evidence or any other type of communication from USCIS, please read the notice carefully to ensure that you respond to the same service center that sent you the notice.

    Redirecting Form I-129F

Starting the week of July 29, 2013, USCIS began redirecting all newly filed Forms I-129F from the VSC to the TSC. The receipt notice will bear a TSC receipt number beginning with “SRC”. The case will be processed by the TSC. The CSC will continue receiving Forms I-129F.

USCIS will post additional Web updates to inform customers of any future workload realignments.

I hope this this info helps to clear some doubts about transfers...
