its a human system nothing is perfect still beats anything else out there by a long shot.good people work there doing their best with what they have, they are overwhelmed with the massive case loads coming in on pallets there so many. could it be better....yes much better. but I don't like seeing usa and joke in same sentence

I agree with fsaeed about the mindset. In my opinion the other threads that discuss the transfers are just toxic (to use someone else's word). Checking your case status continuously and keeping updated with everyone else's approvals accomplishes nothing positive for your case or for you. In fact, some people seem to be driving themselves crazy.

Calling USCIS repeatedly will do nothing for your case. And the truth is, you've only been waiting 4 months, so getting a congressman involved will not do anything for your case either. Do these things only if you want to be constantly told to wait longer.

The alternative would be to accept that you have no control over when your case will be approved. So in the meantime live your life with a positive attitude and refuse to let every day that passes without an approval upset you. It's all in your mindset. You can choose to spend every moment until approval depressed, frustrated, and angry. Or you can choose to enjoy your summer knowing that every day that passes is one day closer to your approval.

Edit to add: you can also spend your time preparing for the next step. No one wants to be the next one that says "I have waited so long and I'm finally approved!!! What's next?????"

Are the kids included in the visa app?

Did the father write a statement he is ok with her moving with the kids or has she sole custody so she can move them without any problems?

YES KIDS ARE INCLUDED ON APP FATHER WROTE STATEMENT SAYING OK TO GO OUT OF COUNTRY WHICH IS A REQUIREMENT TO GET PASSPORT FOR CHILDREN IN MEXICO AND YES iM PRETTY SURE SHE HAS FULL CUSTODY

My fiance has passports for herself and the two little ones the little ones are from another marriage. the father lives in mexico city and she had to get his permission in writing to get the passports for the little ones. My question is......having the mexican passports for her and little ones is this all she will need to bring children here after we get k1 visa ??

Hello, i am waiting my CR2 process which is delayed so I asked my lawyer to send an email to NVC

for more information about my visa then she sent the email...

and now she is charging $600 for this email

i would like to know if this is normal in America

my father's wife said that she charges $250 for a 30 minutes conversation

and we have already paid $9000 for her to fill out our process

you have already paid to much in my opinion way to much. sent the email yourself is what I would do, but this is your journey not mine so take anything I say with a grain of salt.but why cant you send the email yourself anyway?????

WELL i CAN ANSWER A FEW THINGS....WILL TAKE YOU ABOUT 3-8 MONTHS ANYWHERE IN BETWEEN. AND SOMEONE WILL HAVE TO MAKE ABOVE POVERTY LEVEL THATS FOR SURE AND FAR AS COST GOES WELL... BY THE TIME ITS ALL SAID AND DONE NOT INCLUDING TRAVEL AND IF YOU DO IT YOURSELF OR GET SOMEONE ELSE TO ...ANYWHERE FROM 1500.00 TO 3000.00 HOPE THAT HELPS A LITTLE GOOD LUCK

that's not a bad thing, I am not sure what that means but I've seen posts about the same thing and then it is approved few days later or few weeks later... I am a december filer and my Alien Registration Number has not change... I am still waiting for the NOA2

we received our noa1 on jan 11 2013. transferred to tsc from vsc on may 26 2013. I looked on web site again and now it is still on " initial review " but now it says On June 21, 2013, your Alien Registration Number was changed relating to your I129F, PETITION FOR FIANCE(E). Please check our website at www.uscis.gov for further updates on your case. Please wait until the end of normal processing time before calling customer service at 1-800-375-5283 for live assistance.... good? don't mean anything?? what??
