  1. Good news - my I-765 (EAD) and I-131 (AP) were both approved this morning!

The EAD was sent to "Card/Document Production" and the AP is in "Post Decision Activity." Hopefully that means the combo card will be mailed out any day now. :)

Still no update on our interview date, but hopefully we'll receive an update on that soon.

Congrats!!! I can't wait to get my EAD but still nothing change on that.. :/

  2. I'm still waiting to receive an actual interview date, even though I received a notification about being in the "testing and interview" phase on July 8th. :(

I also haven't received an EAD/AP status update yet, either. Those are still showing the "Initial Review" status. ClockWatch2.gif

Should I be giving them a call at this point to ask about my interview date?

Wait a little more before u think to call them. I do not know to much about it. Someone told me the update on ead is usualy 2 months after u send the package..

  3. hey Gabyskis..

Mine has not changed either. By my timeline calculations, i should have heard something between the 2nd and 4th of Aug, nada!

I am not worrying too much as the GC trumps all that. And you would be getting yours in a few weeks.

Funny how i just said something about it this morning on this forum.

my EAD is approved!! its all moving so fast now! woahh

I think i just have to wait. :(

    And congrats!!

I think everything is going so fast... I am glad that but at the same time make me worry about it.

    :)

  4. You might won't get one, since your interview will be in a couple of weeks. Green card is way better than the E A E.g.

    Hi Gabyskis,

Most people receive approval of their EAD/AP approximately 60 days after their NOA1 (I-797 Notice of Action) receipt date (for some people it can take less than 60 days and for others it can take more than 60 days). It looks like, per your timeline, your NOA1 receipt date is June 17th or June 18th so you still have some days to go. I wouldnt start to worry until on or after August 17th, and even then, you would still be within the normal processing time because, per USCIS processing times, it can take up to 90 days. :-)

Thank you guys!!! So. Just have to wait and see what happens... :)

Late June Filer here. Weird situtation right now in waiting for Interview letter again.

Woww totaly weird situation, what did they say about? Did u call them??

  5. mine was like u from the start, every thing seems fast and even i only waited for 2 weeks after biometrics to get an interview and i thought i would get my green card under 3months but after attending interview 3 weeks ago, am still here waiting. so my advice is wait and your time will come. start preparing for the interview. i would say most people get their green btw 4 to 6 months but am looking at 4 months if i get mine before 10th august

Hi i will do the interview in houston next month. How was you experience there?? What kind og paper work should i bring?? Can you give any tips?

    Thanks a lot!

  6. Hi everyone,

July is coming to a close soon, so I figured it's a good time to see how my fellow June filers are doing.

My wife and I received an email and text notification on July 8th letting us know that our I-485 status changed to "Testing and Interview." Nothing else so far yet. Check out my signature for the rest of my timeline.

Thank you to every single person on this site - couldn't have made it this far without you!

Our timelines are almost the same....
