I changed my address twice and never receive any letter just a confirmation by e-mail.

I would assume the few moments it takes to electronically scan and cash a check is much less than the time to send a letter through the postal service. The fact that your packet was cashed is at least a good sign that it was properly received.

We included one as one extra piece in the puzzle. At the end of the day, it's pretty weak evidence.

Can this be right my case transfer to my file office without a notice. No letter no updates.

I am so sorry for the delay, so many things going on with me but i guess they can do this because they did transfer my to Houston and i did not received any latter or nothing letting me know that they did transfer my filles to houston.

But i think you can still go, you could quickly set an infopass appointment and request for it when you see the officer.

Ive seen some people on here go that route and are successful.

I was thinking to do that, but the next day avaiable its on my bday.. So will be too late anyway... :/

Hey guys....

Here was my experience...

Our interview was schedule for 10:30 we got there around 10 passed trought security and wait around 40 min. She called us and we went to her office before we seat we swear, after that we seat down and she started make the questions as my dob my husb dob his parents names for how long we were together she asked about my weddng in brasil the religious one she asked for our bank statments but we just had for one month she needed for the past 3 months ( so after the nterview we went to the bank to get and we got back there to give to her) she saw our wedding invitation and she asked to keep she saw our wedding album and another album with our travel she asked about 10 pictures to keep, we gave to her to my husb paychecks for the last 3 months and his taxes returns, we had travel a lot for the past 3 years my husb was able to print all our travels records ( he works at united ) and we gave to her... She asked me how many time i came to usa ( i did know to ansered that because was a lot, last year i came at least once a month) she asked ig my husb meet my parents and we did prove that we lived together in brazil for a year. She asked if we got married before and if we have kids or if is in our plans. After all this we left and come back... When we came back we gave to her the statemants and she said the end of the day i will have a answer but how we had a plan to go down to brazil next week for my b-day we ask her about the stamp and she asked us t wait aroun 30 mim just to doble check and give me a stamp... After a 30 she called just me and near the exit door she told me that she needed to review my case because i had overstay in usa during my J1visa(2009/2010 - when i met mu husb) and i told her i did not overstay, the problem with j1 visa is after the visa expeire we are able to stay one more month in the country according with I94 so i think because of this she made the mistake. Before we left for the first time she took my I94. We left kinda sad, upset,angry all the bad fellings that u guys can imagine we were realy quiet because we new we did not do anything wrong, but today around noon we check online the status and we saw my card is in production... So in the end everything was resolve... But i will not be ale to go down to brazil for my b-day... but its ok at least they did figure out and gave me the approved!!

So far is it what i remember if you guys have quastions please fell free!!

And i will be in touch because i want to know what will happen wot you guys too!! This is kinda a second family everybody suporting everyone...

I got the aproval my green card is in production!! I am sorry i did not have time to stop here to tell how was.. But i will soon!!

Thank you everybody for the good vibes!! I think all we need this!! i am very ancious and trying to put all the photos and documents together.. its everything ready but i kee check in just make sure. =D

Just one more week for the interview...

Today i started to put all the documents together and select some extra picturs for that!!

Did u receive the interview letter?? There have some sugestions about of documents. I was think to bring with me all the documents that have on the letter.

With only 2 more weeks I wouldn't worry too much about getting that EAD since you going to get the green card really soon.

So happy to get the Appointment letter for Interview on Sept. 12.

Guess they didn't totally screw up the paperwork and make me wait months!

What a relief!! Can't wait until the Interview!! Things moving smoothly once again thankfully!!
