Alejandro don't lose hope...we have to be patient. My husband's visa was just issued 12 days ago after almost 5 months after all was approved. We all go through this not just you. Myxxx n winky have also been waiting. It's a waiting game...just hang in there buddy

Myxxxx did you call dos about yesterday's update? Winky keep your head up. Don't let down...look at me five years in this process and god finally pushed through our turn. So please have faith. It will all be worked out when you least expect it

Uffff that's a tough one.. The lone i212 usually takes about a year to be adjucated. It is usually faster with an i601 waiver...I have read some on the immigrate2us forum that have taken 10 months to a little over a year to be processed. I recommend you check out that page too.

Thank you guys. We are just waiting to see when it's gonna be delivered to cargo express. My husband won't be coming till the last part of October. He is a teacher and if he doesn't work the entire month they don't pay him. So I'm kind of bummed about that. But work is work not matter where it's at.

Guys!!!! Guess what??? My husband's visa was issued today!!! I'm so thankful with god and everyone who has supported us through this voyage. Words can't explain how we are feeling. I can't wait for you all to get visas issued. I'll keep you all in my prayers.

Give it a day or 2 and then it change to issued.

I hope it does winky...I'm ready for my hubby to come home. It's been 5 yrs 3 months and 15 days.

I've been praying to my virgencita and god is probably tired of me asking to have my husband back home. Only He knowsall that we've been thru. I hope I see issued soon and you all too.

Yes my husband had his interview last November. He needed two waivers which were approved in May and he has been sitting in"refused" all along till today.

Good morning guys we had another update today it says "ready" ? I've read on other forums that after ready comes issued!!! I hope it does!!!!! I wish all get issued soon

Good morning guys so i called dos today again...i had my doubts about what the ftp told me on Monday about my husband's ceac update on the 20th. Well the guy that answered today told me that he could see that they were reviewing the case on that day and that's why the lady told me about the dhs/dos approval. I'm feeling more relaxed i know it might take a couple more weeks hopefully days but I'm content it's a good sign overall

Oh no winky this sucks...hopefully it's just a mistake...do you know if your husband came out fine in his tests? Have you checked ustraveldocs for any updates on the medical needing to be renewed? He would have to the the Paper stating that he needs to renew the medical...

Yes loroko you need to get an attorney. My husband required two waivers and thankfully our attorney did a good job. Without him I don't know if I would have done a good job getting the package together. Our waivers were organized package of about 200 pages including letters of recommendations, pictures, my hardships, etc. so it's a pretty big task to take up. I've heard of families that have done it without an attorney

No more updates for my hubby since Friday that's good that your hubby's getting case updates in a row. That's a good sign. Smooth likely he is getting his visa worked on.

Not in ap it says "Refused". Has always said refused. The dos said you are in administrative review just waiting for the consular officer to process your visa. But not ap. I'm thinking it might still be ap but just the one that is for waiting for the docs.

Hi there. So I called the dos to ask about the latest update on ceac. They told me that they received the approval from dos. The rep said the update we see is a dos approval. She didn't know what exactly it meant. She did tell me that I would need to contact the embassy in El Salvador to inquire about it. She told me that she doesn't understand why it's taken them so long to issue a visa. She did say it might be an approval to assemble his package. I really hope so. I'm back to square one as I don't know what that means. She stated that everything is good to go. He isn't in ap which is good. Anyone with any other info?

Yes I'll call tomorrow ASAP...I'm nervous. Don't know what to thnk. It's crazy how all this immigration process makes us lose weight sleep less and get all moody at times. Lol.

Awwww guys I didn't get a chance to call dos today. I just got off work and they are closed. Been so busy at work. I'm wanting to know what the update means. The date is the only thing that updated but not the status. I called my husband and he was like did you email them again? There's an update on ceac and I was like no. I didn't check ceac till 230pm. Work was hectic and just had freed up some time to check. I'm excited. I hope it's good news.

Hi there all. Ceac updated my hubby's case to today's date. That's a good sign for a change. We didn't contact them or anything. I tried signing in to ustraveldocs but it's not allowing me. Is anyone else having the same issue. I'll call dos and ask them about the status update.

Based on the 212(a)(6)©(i) section you are banned due to "fraud and or misrepresentation". It could very well be a mistake on their part. Lets hope it is.

But I thouht that 221g was my waiver it is all that the CO asked for and he even said to sent documents and wait stating that most cases are resolved with in 2 months..And yes I have emailed them back on the 11th and no replay yet.

Loroko the 221g is not a waiver it is a form that explains to you the additional required docs and or waivers that need to be submitted to the the embassy or uscis. Have you ever been in the status before illegally? If the consular officer didn't mention to you anything about the i601 and i212 waiver then you need to investigate it further.

Hi myxxx I emailed congensansal today. They answered within 6 hours. Very fast huh. Which gives me a good feeling. They answered the same as previous email. But ceac dud update today. I'm feeling good. Fast response and ceac update is better than days without knowing anything and no ceac update. I thank God for any little bit if light.

It is unfortunate that your fiance was denied his visa. I understand your frustration about ilegal immigrants, people on welfare and so on but it doesn't make it one notch unfair the drug use. I believe that we are in a process where we need to be in our best behavior, aether we are in our country or not. Drug use is drug use no matter what. Unless you have a prescription from a Dr then I would think otherwise. I believe we shouldn't judge not criticize others when drug use no matter what is bad. Drugs are as wrong as those "Ilegal Immigrants" and others are. Just my personal thought.
