Ok that's not too bad! How much is the interview fee?!
-
Ok I thought there was an interview fee and packet 3 fee?
-
Does the only thing my fiance (us citizen) need to fill out for packet 3 and the checklist is the affidavit i-34 and financial support docs??
-
Anyone have a break down of costs for the entire K1 process? The only info I can find is from 2006! Thanks!
So far all I know is the initial $340 fee

Hi Guys, who receives packet 3?? Beneficiary or US Citizen? I'm not sure if they update it, I'm in the same boat on waiting, I just got approved yesterday!
-
Did your packet 3 get sent to Canada or US, I'm getting mixed responses?! Thanks!
-
Yeah let's hope they keep up this momentum
-
Yeah, I'll be in Montreal. Let me know when you get your Packet 3's!

On August 27, 2013, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I129F PETITION FOR FIANCE(E). Please follow any instructions on the notice. If you move before you receive the notice, call customer service at 1-800-375-5283.
For approved applications/petitions, post-decision activity may include USCIS sending notification of the approved application/petition to the National Visa Center or the Department of State. For denied applications/petitions, post-decision activity may include the processing of an appeal and/or motions to reopen or reconsider and revocations. -

I just say I'm visiting my boyfriend, they usually just ask what he does then ask how long and say have a good trip! I wouldn't over complicate it
-
awesome, thanks guys!

If I the beneficiary, sign up for the account on the USCIS website to receive notifications, does that over-ride my finance's updates that we signed up for in the application (g-1145).
-
At what point in the process does the beneficiary start receiving communications in the mail?
-
For the I-129F you just have to prove you met once in the past 2 years. Proof of ongoing relationship will become important at the interview.
-
That was so fast!! Congrats

ok ya I see some people getting their K1's rather quickly, hoping that's me!! I just filed this month so I know it will be awhile just wanted to see the wait times people have experienced this year.
What happens when you get married and change your application? Do you re-start and have to wait longer? How does that work?
what else do i need from my fiancee?
