Congrats! Fast approaching. Mine is the 7th! Make sure ur documents, proofs are organized... Dress comfortably.... Eat a large breakfast! And try not to be nervous ;-)

Yea he will have to pick up the results. The trend seems to be 5 days before the cita date.. My hubby also paid 180 plus 29 for two shots.. Total 209. But like someone also said... I seen few weeks ago 320... N read about 290.. So just depends what they missing n season..

Well, we will be going to Santo Domingo from Santiago the day of our interview, so we would have no choice but to pay someone to safeguard at least one of our cellphones so that we can call a taxi afterwards to take us to the buses back to Santiago. We do not plan on getting a hotel room, so does anyone have any other suggestions as far as being able to get to the buses w/o having a cell phone on us? Do you think taxis will be whizzing by that we can flag down to take us somewhere if we leave the cellphone home?

What bus would you take from Santiago to the capital? I'm coming from Santiago as well but we will take paying for the mini buses that pick u up from home n take to directly to the embassy. They also wait for u and take u back for 1000 pesos...

With the AOS I forgot to send the last page like an idiot. With the birth certificate I thought I sent the inextensa but they said I sent the extensa so I resent it... With the AOS the total/adjusted depends on the type of income tax u file so be careful... The medical they need their passport and interview letter. It's ranges from 290-350 I think... It depends on the season... They have to put up the results now

You don't have to get them again. But I'm getting them again in case they are misplaced. The police certificate I'm sorry u dont have to get it legalized. Just the way u get it from the office u send it just like that

For nvc u don't need to translate... Make sure the documents are inextensa n legalized...

This is what I have saved but it depends what vaccines the beneficiary might be missing... I could be wrong n it depends on age...

I got Waldo, nice guy but not what I wanted to hear!

He said that it takes couple of weeks for it to be sent and then he asked why I was asking.

I told him that I wanted to ask the consulat for an earlier date once they get the file and he said that it could not be any earlier since NVC schedules the earliest they can.

I guess 09-Jul it is. Still not bad!!!!

Do you know how long it took for your file to be shipped to the embassy?

I think people wait for it to get to the embassy and ask for an earlier date there. The reason could be because some people reschedule so the embassy will be able to tell if another date opens open. That's what I think I might of read. July 9th is good but it doesn't hurt to call the embassy once it arrives

Urggg why does santo Domingo have to be sooo delayed with everything! I'm ready to start celebrating this weekend just to get my mind off this process ??

On phone on hold with NVC right now. Tomorrow will be one month since my case was complete and still no interview for Santo Domingo. Hopefully I get some good news now.

anyone please? how long do they take to notify?

Hi, NVC does not notify you when they receive the package. They will email you once they have accepted the package which is taking about 2-3 weeks from when ever they receive it. You can always call NVC to confirm that they received your IV.
