All our paperwork was lost, traveling to Philippines. Would immigration have copies? We paid the $650.00

Now I see why you said time traveler. 🤣🤣 2016 we married. Her green card had expired like a 1 or 2 months before we left. But we had 10 year visa started. We just couldn’t see what we were missing.

My fiancé came to to USA under K1 visa. We married  got two year green card, driver license, completely compliant with the law. When 10 year green card became available we applied.  Immigration sent back like 4 times asking for corrections.  Then she had to return home to Philippines. Now we need her back. Can she come? Does she need visa? She is my wife since 2916 married here.

Please anything any suggestions

I'm slow at  typing  and got my lingo mixed up. I didn't think you needed to much background. Okay. My fiancé came here on a K1, we got married she got her temp work travel card. she went back to her country brought the kid back on  a K2 visa. Not a travel visa. He is here legally but out of status. Now I want to get him his green card. I just want to know what steps costs and time it can take. I hope this clarifies things. Thanks again

My wife came here on a K1 visa. She's here now and has her green card and is all settled. She brought her son here but we didn't file his K2 due to finances. Now we are ready to file the K2. Can anyone help provide what steps we need to take or know if there is a problem cause we waited year. He is 15 in school. Will there extra charges etc. Thanks in advance.

My wife went through the process of getting the green card. She had her medical, we submitted the papers. 1-485. She received her combo card and we are still waiting on the interview for the 2 year temp green card. In October it will be one year since she's here in the USA.

Now my question is this. She thinks she will need a second medical and shots before going if after October. I font think so. Will she need a second medical exam?

My wife flew back to Phillipines to get her 13 year old son. With the K2 visa. She is divorced/annulled from the father, And the child has his last name. He never supported them. Will she have a problem bringing him, without fathers Consent ? Time is of the essence.

We went thru the K1 process, got married and all is good. Now we're doing the AOS and just got back from the biometrics and found in the mailbox that our I-864 application had some errors. I'm working on finding understanding and fixing those errors. My question is will this hold up our other applications, such as EAD working papers? We need them to get the SS card so she can start working.

My wife came here on a k1 visa we married and now waiting for the conditional 2 year green card. She has a child in the Philippines that's 13. I am not the father or related to in anyway, except being married to the mother. My question is can she/we petition the child to come here and how to go about that.

We applied for AOS I-485 and we received receipts for forms, I-797, I-766 and employment. I forget the number for that one. Can we use these receipts to apply for a SS card? If not what do we need to wait for

We mailed our I-485 package on 2/16/2016 express overnight. They haven't cashed the check or have we gotten a response. How can you check online? With no numbers? And where?

Thanks everybody. One other question please. Do we need to include form I-693 with the I-485 package. Or does that I-693 come later? She just had her medical in October 2015 in Manila. But I heard she may need the tdap vaccine included in the first filing.

Hello all,

The cost of filing for the green card is about $1100.00 for all the forms. Can you send individual payments per form, one at a time so you don't get hit with a huge first payment? If yes does anyone know what order to send them in?
