Another thing is according to USPS tracking, our documents were delivered 11:35 a.m. Thursday, but Kendall said they received the documents on Friday. From what Kendall said could it possibly mean they were scanned into the system?
Our AOS was sent July 10. Delivered to NVC July 14 according to the website. But when I called NVC they said they received it July 17. And I think that was the day they were scanned in the system.

I just received a false checklist that they received our IV packet and was asking to send the AOS packet but we already sent that. IV was scanned June 26. AOS was scanned July 17. I guess it was a good news will confirm if they accepted our IV. 31 business days to be exact.
Please no checklist for AOS.. Please

Just called NVC last night. 9PM Manila time. I was surprised that I had no busy signal and was on hold for only 15 minutes. Our IV packet was scanned last June 26, 2014. I will just wait for my hubby to send his AOS packet. Hopefully before the 4th of July he will be able to send it

1040a is not enough. He needs his W2s and 1099s as well. Or he can use tax transcripts from the IRS, in which case, he only needs the transcripts.
Thanks. I'll ask him to get his transcript online. Will he get it right away after making an account or does he need to wait a couple of days to have it? Thanks

There are no questions on the I-864 specifically about beneficiary's monthly income. If anything, all income is expressed as annual income on the I-864. Few things he should considered and review again:
- He is the sponsor, so he should be entering his annual income as the qualifying income to sponsor you.
- Will you continue to work in the US and receive your income from the same employer in the Philippines after you immigrate? If not, then he cannot use your income.
- Is his annual income alone 125% of the poverty line to support himself, his daughter and you? If yes, then he doesn't need to include income from anyone else.
He can file the I-864ez if he qualifies for the 3 rules: He is the only sponsor/petitioner, he is using only his earned income, and you're the only beneficiary under the visa petition.
Good luck!
Thank you. I guess we are eleigible for I864EZ but he said he will just change his answer in Part 6 of I864. He only has his 2011 2012 2013 1040a, his paystub and his employment letter. Do you think he still need to pass his w2 and 1099 as his supporting documents or his 1040a will be enough?
TIA
And congrats to all CC!!!
** Pasted it here in July thread since I posted it in June thread.. Sorry

Mmm.. Yes, you might want to talk to him. He could be filling out the correct form I-864 but he might be confusing whose income he needs to declare (his as the sponsor, not yours) or, he might be trying to include your current foreign income as part of his total household income. For the latter, he can only use your current foreign income if it will continue from the same source after you immigrate (proof needed).
Good Luck!
Hi can somebody please help me. I am having an argument with my husband since he said that there was a question in the i864 asking for my monthly income. As fas as I know there is no question in the i864 thats asking the beneficiary's income. He filed for HOH on his tax. He has his 2011, 2012, 2013 1040a, employment letter and paystubs ready to be send tomorrow. But I asked him not to send it yet since I think he is making a mistake filling up the forms. What can we do? Can we file i864ez because its a simplier form right? He has a daughter living with her and I am the only beneficiary that he is sponsoring. TIA!

maybe you should try to change 0 from +63 (country code of the Philippines)
for example her number is 09191234567 instead of that change 0 to 63 so it will be +639191234567

Hello everyone and congtas to all who have their case completed and interview dates!
Just wanna ask something about i864. My husband will submit his AOS packet tomorrow and right now he is filling up forms. He asked me how much is my monthly income here in my job in the Philippines. I texted back the answer and then I realized how come he's asking for it. I haven't seen any question in the i864 form regarding beneficiary's income. I am worried that he is filling up a wrong form. I tried calling and texting him but maybe he is busy. I can't wait for him to reply. Is he filling up the right form or not?
Thanks everyone

We don't know that for sure... Although I have the same worry, since after the ceac page changed, our ds261 went from "completed" to "not completed" so I hit submit again, and now it says completed again, but as of a date 12 days after I originally submitted. If I've lost those 2 weeks due to a computer glitch, I'll be really frustrated. But hopefully it won't be so bad!
We're on the same boat. DS261 still not available and I want to pay my IV fee so bad.

Looks like there's a lot of Case Complete today. Congrats to all!
Anyway, I am preparing my IV packet. When we filed our petition in USCIS, our marriage certificate has a correction and it was annonated at the right margin of the MC. We sent explanation to USCIS about the correction and we don't have any problem regarding that. Now that I have to send our original MC to NVC do I still need to put an explanation letter regarding the correction? and other docs on the process of correcting it?
And also, I paid our AOS fee last May 20. The status PAID flashed the following day, May 21. When do you think will my IV become available? TIA
-
Do what you want BUT I only put an amount in the 2013 spot. I did not fill in the 2012 or 2011 spots and mine was accepted
did you attach an explanation why you did not fill up 2012 and 2011? My husband is lost his 2011 tax details and he's having a hard time accessing his tax info online and hon't have time to go to h and r block as well.

ohh nvm it won't let me pay it hahaha
mine says pay now as we.. but it won't let me pay
-
I'm also waiting for my IV fee to be available. I completed my DS-261 last early last week. Can't wait to pay them
-
You already completed the DS-261, I think you meant the DS-260 to be available soon. Once you pay the IV fee, you can send the IV packet from your home country.
Yeah, I meant ds-260. I was always confused between the two. Great! Thanks! Goodluck to you
-
You sure can send it to him, or he can login to CEAC and print it out himself. As for the IV fee, it depends on when you completed your DS-261. You can study the spreadsheet to see current wait times.
Good luck!
Thank you. I hope ds-261 will be available soon so I can pay my IV fee cause my IV packet is ready to send. Another question, can I send my IV packet to NVC from my country?
can u tell me whats bar code cover sheet pls ?
I think its what alejendreska atatched on his/her post. It has a bar code, the beneficiaries name and what type of visa. Goodluck to you
-
Just paid our AOS fee today.. Yahoo! I paid it using my husband's US banking account. My question is I printed out and saved the bar coded coversheet on my computer. Can I just send it to him thru email so he can print it our for his AOS packet.. Lol I know stupid question but I still wanna ask though.. And also when will our IV fee be available? I want to pay it awhile ago together with the AOS but its not available still TIA and Goodluck to all of us
