  1. @TA:

NSC is processing I-130 for IR-1/CR-1.

Here is the main thread on NSC: http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/470690-nebraska-service-center/

You also might wanna check this: http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/470656-monthly-transfer-spreadsheets-in-order/; these spreadsheets have information on applications transferred to the 3 service centers (CSC/NSC/TSC).

One person just approved today at NSC: http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/454000-i-130-march-2013-filers-nbc/page-268; check post 4009 on this page.

    Good luck.

  2. As someone else mentioned, please go and review posts 1 and 2. The online form DS-3032 IS the DS-261. USCIS has nothing to do with the DS-3032/DS-261. That form is sent during the NVC process. And as of September 1st, 2013, everyone is required to send the DS-261 online. They'll no longer accept the DS-3032, whether by snail mail or by email.

And as with the DS-3032/DS-261, the DS-230 is no longer used by NVC. Everyone is required to fill the online form, called the DS-260.

Thanks for the detailed help, Saylin.

Since I am still in the USCIS stage, I stated USCIS instead of NVC mellow.png

  3. My PD is may17 2013 i130 got transfer to nsc on 12-12-2013 and still waiting for there response back

My PD is 5/16, transferred to NSC on 12/12; if I do not hear anything by 1/20, then I will reach out to my congressman/senator and USCIS Ombudsman.

@shama786: Please fill-in your timeline in VJ and this spreadsheet https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0Anpi244OAt_IdHotcTd6dmNNTkh6QlJ1YTRkWDZUSEE#gid=0.

    Good luck.

  4. for me, uscis shipped approved case to NVC on nov 5. and NVC confirmed they can see it was received on 25th of nov. it took 20 days for me. I still didnt receive the case number yet

I see in your signature that you completed DS-261, and not the online form DS-3032. Is that by choice or USCIS still allows DS-3032 only for people from certain countries and Pakistan is not in that list?

Please keep us posted on how you will file the IV application - DS-230 [which is a paper copy] or the new online form DS-230.

    All the best.

  5. Please make sure to send email/fax to the following:

    1. Senator Patrick Leahy - Chairman U.S. Senate Judiciary Committee
    Fax: 202-224-3479
    senator_leahy@leahy.senate.gov, John_Dowd@leahy.senate.gov

    2. Senator Chuck Grassley - Ranking Member U.S. Senate Judiciary Committee
    Fax: 202-224-6020
    whistleblower@judiciary-rep.senate.gov, jill_kozeny@grassley.senate.gov

And here is the reason (The Judiciary committee is after Mayorkas and so are we):

    1. http://www.grassley.senate.gov/judiciary/upload/EB-5-08-09-13-Mayorkas-letter-no-response-to-first-letters-Mayorkas-AAO-rewrite-email.pdf

    2. http://www.grassley.senate.gov/judiciary/upload/EB-5-07-31-13-Grassley-letter-to-Mayorkas-preferential-treatment.pdf

  6. Should we send it directly to TSC?

I wouldn't, because they might react negatively if they see that their customers are complaining about them, and by negative reaction, I mean they can put your file on the bottom of pile (i hope not).

USCIS is the most safe job in US government; usually government jobs are safe, but USCIS is much safer - no matter how upset customers are, they have no choice but USCIS, and USCIS have [and will have] a lot of customers because a lot of people want to migrate to the US.

    Goodluck.
P.S. I also changed the subject of my letter to: USCIS giving US Citizens lowest priority - Immense delays in I-130 petitions of spouses of US Citizens
  8. I am on board.

But the timing is not going to work in our favor - most of the high ranking officials are either already on vacation OR going on vacation starting Monday, 12/23.

I know this is hard for all of us, but my humble suggestion is to postpone this letter till Tuesday, Jan-7-2014.

We know that USCIS have started adjudicating May applicaitons (and they are doing this out of order); so there is a peace of mind (to some extent) that they the pendulum has swung in our way; although I agree that this change in processing-time from 7.4 to 8.7 is complete BS from USCIS.

  9. My applications (i-130 and i-129f) were transferred on Dec 3. Last night, Dec 12, I received a message notifying me that both applications have been approved.

I still can't believe it. I was in shock. I re-read it over and over making sure I wasn't hallucinating/dreaming. I'm so happy.

For all those who are still waiting, hang in there. Its tough... I hope you get your approval soon!

@mkrm: which service center your case transferred to?

  10. Just received 1st transfer email and text:

On December 11, 2013, we transferred this case I130 IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR RELATIVE, FIANCE(E), OR ORPHAN to another office for processing and sent you a notice explaining this action

    PD: 5/16

2nd transfer email and text this morning:

On December 12, 2013, we transferred your I130, IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR RELATIVE, FIANCE(E), OR ORPHAN, to your local USCIS Office for further processing.
