You can put a service request with USCIS, because CSC is working on cases received till Aug-3-2016, and your NOA date is 8/1.  I do not know the process of Svc-Req, but I am sure it is already explained by someone in this thread.

called NSCS today, and put a service request via Tier-1. She was polite, and told me that if you do not hear back from us in 30 days, then call us back and provide the SR#.

Hi I am from Islamabad, Pakistan. My husband is a US citizen. Our petition was approved in Dec 2013, NVC case completed on the 23rd of April. Currently waiting for an interview date. Does anyone know how long the US Embassy in Islamabad is taking to schedule interviews with the NVC once the case is completed? it been roughly oer a week till now so I was expecting it to come. Any advice or information would help! Thanks!

Just called NVC; hold time 45 minutes - heard the good news and she told me that the next step is the schedule of interview.

Another question guys! I know I know, i have alot. With the IV package do we need to just have a photocopy of birth certificate and marriage certificate, or do we need to make a photocopy of EVERYTHING!

I submitted original and a photocopy of everything in the IV package.

Received a potentially false checklist today on financial evidence; the paragraph about the issue was in Greek symbols; so I called NVC, and the person told me disregard it, so it is confirmed it is a false checklist, see the attached pdf

Received actual checklist on AOS (864-EZ) today; reason: the income showed for the most recent tax year (2013) on 864-EZ did not match what was in the 1040 -

Completed a new 864-EZ, with the correct income, and FedEx it overnight.

My Case number was assigned yesterday(24 hours),when can i expect the DS261 ?

I suppose im being a bit too over excited to move on to the next step but seems NVC is busy with my file and gives the 'case that you have attempted to access is not eligible for further processing by the National Visa Center at this time' statement.

The DS-261 will become available 2 or 3 days after the case# is assigned, so I expect you will have DS-261 available before the end of this week.

Most likely this is a false check list, because they did not ask you for anything specific.

Did you submit police char certificates?

I heard from another VJ member, and also from the DOS website that PCC are not needed anymore from Pakistan; so just trying to understand if you also did not send them at all.

I just filed my taxes, and I go to the IRS website to request a tax return transcript, and when I register with all my info I get a message saying

Registration: Error

The system cannot verify your identity to access your requested application at this time.

Why is this?

It takes time for the transcript to be available after you file the return. I am in the same situation, so I sent the following:

1. copy of the 2013 federal tax return - copy of ALL the pages (1040, 1099s, W-2, etc.)

2. Tax Transcripts for 2012 and 2011

That is immigrant's home address in immigrant's home country. I was also not clear on this, but earlier today another VJ member replied to me on this very thread.
