I used my passport to open bank account in U.S bank. Got my state id with passport and school transcript but this varies from state to state. I would think that all the bank will accept the same thing? Try check with other banks

Are you a girl? Since your friend is a boy, they might think otherwise. Are you saying $100k or 100k peso? They will really look at that too because 100k peso to USD is around $2k so they will ask you how are you going to go there on vacation with $2k savings for 4 weeks

Just I-485? Read the guide on top of this page?

I met a girl during my interview, she was on f2a visa and it took her about 6 months. That is Malaysia so I am not sure about other country nor the visa. Just letting you know what I heard from others experience.

Will Philippines allow co-sponsor? Won't that be a risk you might need to take if you leave without AOS now?

I go to a clinic near the place I stay and they asked me a few questions about my background and they grant me 80% discount on medical fee for a year. Not sure if you have it in your town/state or not.

I just did my medical on tues and got charged $120 for transcribing only. $50 for tetanus. That's the only shot I am missing. I showed doctor my birth card and DS-3025

I believe current income is what matters the most to USCIS.
I am afraid you will need other co-sponsor

Your uncle being wealthy and living here with a house, mentioning him will give you a negative side on your case on tourist visa. You need to show your ties to china/India. Why would you leave the U.S.

Need to apply for marriage license. For Minnesota, we had to wait 5 days for the license or we can expedite it at court for $10. Total fees for license would be $125. $115 for license and $10 for expedite. We got our license the same day and could be used the same day too! Varies from state to state

still looking for answer so that I can file my paperwork. Thank you

Thanks again for ur kind respond.
I am in the midst of completing the application form and theirs a part which I have to check whether I am ' legal alien allowed to work' and ' legal alien Not allowed to work' which one should I checked since I m on k1.
To re-confirm documents below is the documents I am suppose to bring, please let me know if I am missing out on any documents that I am suppose to bring?
1) passport
2) social security card application form
3) I -94
Also, do I need to certified any of the documents as well?
The SSA office is far away from my house hence I want to make sure I am not missing out in bringing any documents there.
Look fwd to your advice
You are ok with the list of stuff to bring. Please bring 2 items to proof your identity, birth certificate, driver license or whatever as long as it's proof! School transcript and etc etc. At least it's written clearly on the form that you need another identity other than your passport. Try to bring that just incase they asked you for it. The officer that process my papers did not ask me for mine.
You mark "Legal alien allowed to work"
1. The SS-5 form you downloaded and filled out (they have some at the office if you forget).
2. your Passport (with the K-1 Visa in it)
3. your valid I-94: Electronic I-94 Copy; or (for older entries) an original (and bring a front/backside copy) of a valid paper I-94
4. another form of valid ID (as defined in the SS-5 instructions)
5. You should also bring the document RM 10211.530 that you printed out
Read the guide again so that you have the whole list of things needed.

I read the previous thread and wanted to ask my own question regarding my DS3025. Would be rude for me to post my question on someone else's thread.
My DS-3025 stated Complete, all requirements met
Td, tdap, not routinely available
Varicella, not routinely available(had chickenpox but doctor didn't ask)
MMR, vaccine given by panel physician
All the others are marked not age appropriate.
Medical done in December 2013 so it's not a year yet.
Do I need to transcribe or will I be ok?

You will still be counted in her household size since she will be the main sponsor for your application.

I don't remember if that is asked in the form at all? I put my bf's address on the address that I am going to stay in the U.S., I remembered that part

I was in a relationship when I applied for a tourist visa in Singapore(2 years relationship). I am a Malaysian born chinese, did not encounter any issue during my interview.
Ties I have : a stable job in Singapore that I already been working for a year before I applied for the visa.
Other ties but are not asked for: bank statement with fixed deposit, 6 months pay stub, employment contractor, employment letter, savings account.
Everybody is different, that is just my experience with my tourist visa application.

Thanks Janice &Micah. Sorry for the late reply.
I just realized that when I am here before married, I need to apply for SSN? So far we have ye set the date yet. But my 90 days will be up on 8th May.
And it says that to apply, I need to have a I-94. Can anyone advice me where to get that? Or do help to advise what documents I need to bring to the SSA office?
Appreciate your soonest response.
Yeah, you can apply for SSN before marriage or after with your new married name but it has to be 14 days before the expiration date.
I-94 is now electronic and you can extract it online and have it printed out. Take that with you when you apply.
Guide : http://www.visajourney.com/content/ssn
This guide is a little old. You can start going to the SSN office the next day to apply. I got my SSN done on the next day upon arrival

Do you need a visa to visit Guam or is Philippines under the waiver prog for Guam? You will need B2 visa if you are only planning to get married and then return to Philippines. Once back in Philippines, you can apply for CR-1 if you decided to move there permanently.
B2 visa can be immediate as long as there's interview available.

Is that a typing error? Check with the embassy? This is the first time I have heard anyone receive interview date 3 years later

Thanks again for support I really appreciate it , I'll be sure to fill you guys in with our status of the visa , but my fiancé (OP) doesn't want post on the forums anymore she felt disheartened by the response she got initially , and It made her cry but I'll still fill u guys in and post questions that may arise during the process.
As for her visiting halfway in third country, we always did want to do that but her schedule made it impossible to do it while in medical school and they didn't give her a long enough break. We tried one visiting visa which got denied and a b1 visa for an observer ship she could attend for her school credits which was also denied , so we did try just not in a third country.
I feel her. When I first posted on this forum. It's not very welcoming either. I complaint it to my fiancé and then I learned from all the problems people posted judging me and saying that I will not get approved. I am siting here approved and be flying in 2 weeks. Stay strong. Keep up with this forums and learn from the bad comments. Haters are always out there to get you.
