What I did with mine was this. I went to the police station. Asked them for a plain piece of paper. Do a fingerprint there and asked an office to look at me fingerprinting. Then the police officer signed that piece of paper. That's what I submit with my Singapore coc and it got accepted. They don't do fingerprint in my hometown either. I have to explain over 2 hours to get them to do that for me. I waited probably like whole day at the police station

You can submit online ticketing confirmation if she have any? Unless you buy the ticket through a ticketing counter then I do not know how to go about that

I would just file AP and EAD anyways since its free. Just for emergency so that you won't regret not filing it. You will want to file your AOS ASAP to avoid any issues with immigration since you are out of status

You don't petition for tourist visa

This is easy fix. Packet 3 will be your letter for instruction. Highlight that and attach with your police certificate application.
I applied for Singapore COC with my packet 3

This is not correct, you need to file I-751 to remove condition 2 year later.
Oops, I miss a step there. Ya, need to remove condition 2 years later and then can file for citizenship on the 3rd year. I stand corrected.

Did you check under immigrant?

You might want to bring proof of co sponsor citizenship with you. Just incase it's needed during the interview.

Congrats on your approval! You can apply for citizenship on her 3rd year being LPR. Don't need to wait 10 years but of course you can do it 10 years if you want.

We did have one landlord saying stuff about not wanting foreigners babies and saying that I will burn her house down using the stove. We are having court case now.

she needs to show her own ties to Philippines. Grandma's doctor issuing a letter has nothing to do with her ties of showing she would return.

It's about the same during 2013 year end

If the sponsor is pregnant is the sponsor eligible for medicaid?
Doesn't matter to the sponsor. Beneficiary should not apply for mediaid

"Coming up with a good reason for requirement to meet fiancé is extreme hardship to you." You need to "come up" with one? It's not real if you need to make one up?

That's nice and quick. Congrats

They will return your application

Got my biometric appointment letter in the mail today! Glad it's moving along for me

I only had 2 pictures when I submitted my secondary evidence of meeting. You need boarding pass, receipts, hotel booking, credit card charges of you guys being in the same place dated within 2 years. Those will be sufficient. Photos are secondary evidence

There should be "notice date". That's the date I use.

congrats on being accepted by CSC It's way quicker

Hello everyone,
I am a US citizen, 24 years old, and have been living in China for 6 years now. My wife, being Chinese, is going through the process of the CR1 visa.
The I-130 was approved and the documents sent in, the emails have been received, and now it is time now for the interview in Guangzhou.
I am preparing all of the information for my wife ( who speaks fluent English).
I have run into a few bumps whilst preparing and I felt that this forum could help to shed some light on these issues.
1) My mother, unbeknownst to me, put me down as a dependent on her taxes for the past 3 years. She told me that this is because she has helped with clothing and such other the years of being here.
On the I-864 form, page 4, it talks about members of the household and a dependent being one of them. Should she mark me down there since I live in China? Also on page 5 they ask about the income of those in the household. Would I put down my income? Would I add it into their household income? Since, I am the petitioner, this confuses me.....
2) I filed my taxes for the past 3 years just 4 weeks ago. Before receiving the info about my mother marking me down as a dependent. Should I file an I-864 form myself and submit my taxes along with my mothers? Wouldn't this cause a problem since she put me down as her dependent?
That's it for now. I thank you all for your help.
Darrell
I dont know the answer to most of your question but I do know this. You need to fill up I-864 because you are the petitioner. You need to also send in taxes for 3 years.
