Again!!! without her, theres no him to get money from them to get a house to begin with.He should tell his parents " No, we are a family , its our house" instead he prefers it in his name. Its ok, anything accrued in a marriage singularly or plurally, IS JOINT PROPERTY AND THAT SALL I HAVE TO SAY ON THAT.

Your response is without the benefit of intellect and as a result I will refrain from responding to any of your responses. Be well

Cc1988 Download instructions for I-765 and read it carefully - as for me, I need to reread it a couple of times. I-765 is not a difficult application to fill out on your own. It's one page - put check where is says that you're applying to renew your work permit. If you received a differed action and your previous permit was issued under c(14) then put c14, it it was issued based on pending adjustment of status - put c9. Make sure you submit all the required documents that are listed in the instructions with your application. That's it, you're done! $500 saved

God bless Sandranj from the tip of her head to the soul of her feet that whatever she does gives God all glory in the name of Jesus. Her territory as I type right now is being expanded, Favor in Real Estate , Devine supernatural financial blessings above and beyond what she can ever imagine is upon her right now in the name of Jesus. Despite it being not about money for her but For the Grace of God it is so. Amen

When i read of the wickedness of some attorneys I get sooooooooo upset. I thank God that your Vawa was approved.. God indeed is always faithful and on time ,Amen!!!! And what is meant for evil turns into good. At the end of the day you got it now you can go to school and do whatever you need to do.

Give up on the divorce attorney. She has already said she doesn't want anything. Her chances of getting anything are extremely small in light of the pre-nup and her moving out. Why drag it out?

iloydgc they can issue an RFE any time, they may ask documents that you submitted already and they lost there,or to submit more documents to prove bonafide marriage,or to prove abuse or to submit some document that you just did not submit along with your form I-360.
You sound very depressed, I pray the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding will guard your heart and your mind. You asked some words of encouragement then i leave you with these words:
"Be strong and courageous. Do not fear or be in dread of them, for it is the LORD your God who goes with you. He will not leave you or forsake you".
(Deuteronomy 31:6)
"Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand".
(Isaiah 41:10 )

while divorce attorney can't force you to act business-like, you have to put your divorce settlement in perspective. You stated numerous times that husband mistreated you over a long period of time, enslaved you and also that he neglected to sponsor your immigration. Now, he has obsolved any financial responsibility for you before the state; but you insist that you don't want him to pay you anything. All you're seeking is to expedite divorce decree. What's your urgency for quickest settlement?

Because she has a pro bono attorney and a pre-nup. She moved out on him, they were married a very short time. There is nothing for her to gain by dragging out the divorce and her pro bono attorney most likely won't stay on the case if she tries to.

jessyL the individual can file Vawa just based in financial abuse, and some of them had their Vawa approved. I had one case the abuser forced the victim to sell the only property she had in her home Country, he took ALL money from her and he used her credit card leaving her with a debit of $40k. Vawa Unit approved her case based in financial abuse, but she proved that she transferred all money to his bank account and he used every single penny in less than 5 months buying frivolous things.
Forbidding the victim to open or maintain personal bank account is not considered financial abuse since the "victim" can open and/or maintain a personal bank account without the abuser acknowledge. In the United States banks CANNOT disclose to a third part if you have a bank account or not. Banks can disclose information about your account just if the third part is the IRS or an individual with judicial order.

anajnic reacted to believe in Under VAWA Petition Ability to Marry and get Adjustment of Status
Unfortunately, your friend is slowly getting into the vicious circle of abuse - going from one to the other. In addition to the advice others have given i.e. to not re-marry until her AOS is approved, I'll suggest that she leave both her attorney and her relative. As a victim of domestic violence she can stay in a shelter until she gets situated. She also needs counseling in order to heal, learn how to restore her boundaries, and recognize the signs of covert aggression. If you want to help her you can help her by finding her another job, and another place to stay. Her being entangled with this snake of a lawyer and another relative who is using and abusing her is the fire to the frying pan she was in with her husband. This type needs a clean cut.

A few days ago some members were discussing if having kids prove a bonafide marriage. The answer is NO. What prove bonafide marriage is commingling finances and commune residence, of course having a child increase the chance for approval, but it does not matter if you have 1,2 ,3 kids with your ex spouse and not commingling finances proof because they will deny your case. Since Monday 3 people from VJ- thread 3 contacted me, all of them have children with the abusers and all of them got RFE asking to submit more evidences of bonafide marriage, then as you can see having kids is not enough.
